My little boy was very pleased with his brio crossing. The only downside is you can't attatch road to it as well as track so I did end up buying another crossing too so he could attach more road but he loves them both we love all the brio train track peices

This is a well made Brio item, as expected. My grandson loved this addition to his Brio train set.
Excellent little thing - right up there with the best of the Brio stuff.
A great toy for the train loving child (and adults)!
My granddaughter loves the way that this train part works by itself. As the train reaches the crossing, the crossing bars drop one at a time. Then, after the train leaves, it is easy to hit the two red circles to raise them back up. She finds this fascinating!
Lots of fun. Sturdy construction
Really good in theory, but a manufacturing defect means that one of the two arms doesn't lower so I've had to stick on a weight to make it work. Other side drops down much more easily.
Works very well. Helps with imaginary play
