We have bought our granddaughter lots of Brio pieces so far. As she’s nearly 3 I thought this was a good idea to learn about changing the direction on the track and how to do it. The switches are very well made as are all the Brio items we have, but these are very stiff to move across and I struggled to do it myself so there is little chance she could manage it. Wish I’d bought the fixed track switch pieces instead.

An additional, worthwhile element to any train table layout. Kids learn the influences of train direction and the complexity can be increased by adding more than one switch in the designed layout. Good to pair with the start/stop switches.

It was hard for my grandson to turn the battery trains on the track. With these points it is so simple. Very good product,thank you.
It is surprising that such a simple item can advance a child's education. The red moving points are great in that they make a child realise that points must be set correctly to avoid collisions and derailments. They then start to understand why signals are needed. If they have motorised engines, then the flow is controlled by the points. A wonderful enhancements to the fixed points system.
These simple pieces bring more creativity to your train track.
Unit came without pressure plate that allows gates to close when locomotive arrives at the crossing.
These are so fantastic! Very well made train track switches and very easy for my toddler to use. The trains move over them smoothly. This has been a fantastic edition to our train set. A must have.
