All one could ask of a water filter.

This is an old version of the Brita water filters, known as "classic",and is now quite hard to find. The newer ones do not fit my Brita jug. It does what it's supposed to do. One does not clean it, hence my leaving blank that slot. It arrived very quickly, which was good.

Great value "Classic" Brita Cartridges

I bought the "Classic" Brita cartridges to replace my used ones. Would certainly buy these again highly recommended for the older type Brita Water Filter

Known quality at a good price

These are the genuine Brita filter items bought at a very competitive price. I believe their filtering effectiveness is superior to the the cheaper filters that can be bought. I never buy anything other than Brita. Not cheap but the best.

Never without them

I've been using these since the early 80s and have no plans to change. They make the water healthier and better tasting. However I only use this water for drinks and never water plants with it. If you do you'll eventually find lots of little white mites at the bottom of the pot, and they're unsightly. Remember your tap water is recycled 3 times and chemicals are used to kill the bacteria in it. Yesterdays toilet water is todays drinking water. The Brita cartridges must remove some of these bacteria killing chemicals and that will be why these little mites appear. You should always change the water every morning to prevent bacteria.

So pleased Robert Dyas still stock this item, hard to find now and universal option in other shops don’t fit the old Brita jug as good as the Brita original.
