Having been an avid fan of Brita over the years. Was elated to find a 'jug' that would not only fit ideally on my desk at work but also encourage me to drink plenty.Sadly, it has not lived up to my expectation. The filter has 'leaked' carbon from the filter into the bottom of the jug. I tried to return to the store today, literally 2 days after purchase and was told NO RECEIPT. So NO exchange?Clearly faulty.I'm probably more disappointed in the customer service than the product as without exchanging cannot be certain it was not just a bad filter.

I brought the same one as before had it for about 3 years then dropped it on the floor and it cracked. It's perfect for the fridge door too. Best water jug.

Bought this water filter jug to go in the smaller than normal fridge in my caravan. I am very pleased with it. It is large enough to hold water for a refreshing cold drink, small enough to fit in the fridge door and easy to refill. Reason for 4 stars not 5 is the lack of grip when full

I love the colour and shape of this jug. It perfectly fit in fridge doors and doesn't take too much space in the small kitchen. It's comfortable in use, opening system is so simple and ingenius! The water comes through the filter pretty fast, so smaller capacity isn't a problem. I also love it because it can be used during the filling of the lower part.I finally don't need to buy bottled water and care about my kettle and espresso machine. I'm gonna use the filtered water to the iron too!
It is small, but I wanted that. looks good, well made, compact, fits in fridge easily with room to spare, and easy to use. It's good that it doesn't have a handle, but as someone else said, it could have a better moulded grip. Another user said that the grey top is difficult to put on. I found that is only the case when you try to put it on the wrong way around, or the wrong end first. I gave away this filter after a week. I seem to have a problem with drinking tap water, but I don't think the Brita maxtra plus filter was good enough for me. I'm back on bottled water and will try the zero system next.
Delighted with my filter jug. It's very easy to clean, change filters and to pour. Fits nicely in door of fridge. Can be a little heavy when full and might cause problems for anyone with weak fingers/hands as there's no handle to grip although there are indents either side. Great purchase.
Bought this as I thought it would fit better in the fridge! It does. Great for quick drink with chilled water. Not big enough for more than 3 glasses of water but I’m happy that it doesn’t take up too much room.
Had this a couple of months now and has proved to be very popular with the family, nice chilled water without the chemical smell and taste from tap water. fits in the door of the fridge really well okay it;s only a 1 litre but if everyone fills it as they use it there is no issue.
Does what it says on the tin, it filters water. It is nice to hold and it pours easily with a narrow water stream so no mess. Great colour and looks super posh on the kitchen bench. I got the pink one. Would certainly buy again.
This jug is small and instead of a handle it has a gripping area on the jug itself, so is easy to keep in the fridge door. I wanted to begin drinking more water but find it difficult as a big jug full of water looks too intimidating and off-putting for me, but I can put two cups of water in this diddy version and it becomes acceptable on the eyes The first few jugs, after following instructions and throwing a couple of extra pitchers of water out, still had a taste I disliked but I persevered and that went after a bit., . I started with a couple of mouthfuls water before having a cuppa, and then half a glass between cuppas, and then replaced cuppas as I felt able too. Have to say I prefer it at room temperature, so I just take my glass of water and sit it on the side for a bit. Simple. I went the whole hog, got a larger jug to have on my counter top, and use it in the kettle, Im on my own and only fill with what I need, so it works for me, but for a family of heavy tea or coffee drinkers youd need a really big on due to the space the inside body of the jug takes up, theres not a lot of room under the hole, so having it filled to the capacity means its sitting in water and I don't like that, so I have less in and fill more often The changer display is only a guide, if you fill with half the water it still thinks your using a whole pitcher, so you wont need to worry about what it displays. Just pop a note in the drawer for when you started to use it. I wait until I have emptied the pitcher before refilling to keep it fresh. Topping up would still be using older water so for me this works best. It doesn't take long to drip through so as I take the last out I refill and back in the fridge, or counter top So far am very happy with it. There is a flat lid on top, and this I don't like, but Im getting familiar with it now and its less unliked (is that a word). Anyway, Id buy it again, its strong, easy to clean and perfect for one who is building up their amount of water intake. Older people and even kids if theres a fussy one. Would I get it again. You bet I would.
