Just got this yesterday from our local Bunnings, the official installation video said the pressure valve is optional but it's included in the package anyway, however, the valve connector (the one part on the left during the videos parts display view) is not included, so if you need the pressure valve, get that connector before the installation. Plus, they've must added a plastic connector for Austrlia use, but I hoped they'd used a none plastic one than the black plastic one in the box.Once installed, the hanger part was a bit fiddly, the filter can simply be left on the bottom of sink. Now, the purifying part, water from the undersink filter tastes a bit different from brita slow filter drinking fountain which we've been using for more than 15 years, with a few ... MoreJust got this yesterday from our local Bunnings, the official installation video said the pressure valve is optional but it's included in the package anyway, however, the valve connector (the one part on the left during the videos parts display view) is not included, so if you need the pressure valve, get that connector before the installation. Therefore, we could instantly tell the tastes are different. The slow filter fountain still taste more pure than the undersink filter, maybe because the water flowing from the undersink filter through the tap is just too fast to be filtered completely, since we didnt install the pressure valve, but again, that's just my thought. However, the tastes are different after multiple blind tests we've done, therefore, we still prefer the slow filter drinking fountain from Brita to be more pure. The product does not say it's going to be pure water so that's not a fault but simply a choice I guess. On another note, if you live in a hot environment like we do in Cairns, the tap water gets really hot during summer time, the underwater filter has an operating temperature between 4 to 40 degrees, therefore, if the water from your tap is usually hotter than 40 degrees, this might need to be reconsidered.
