The fantastic XP-PAD, SICT and SecureGuard features from the KIDIFX are now combined with the redesigned seating area for optimum crash performance to offer all-round protection, making this the safest KIDFIX yet. The slim design of the seat allows for three KIDFIX i-SIZE car seats to be installed in the back row of a wide range of cars. The engineers at Britax Römer have used Human Body Model analysis when designing the KIDFIX i-SIZE to ensure the seat is designed to be comfortable for both young and older children. The new KIDFIX i-SIZE weighs 0.6 kg lighter than its predecessor, and is designed and made in Germany which means shorter transport routes which helps to minimise the impact on the environment. As two seats, for my twin grandsons have to sit side-by-side in the middle and side position of the middle row of my seven seater VW Sharan so that access to the back two seats in the third row is still possible, it is good that the seats still let you access the seat belt fixing points between the seats. It is remarkable how few manufacturers of seven seater cars with three rows of seats (e.g, Volvo or Range Rover) have ISofix points on only the outside of the three seats in the middle row so that if you need to have two car seats for kids, with them then in place an adult can not get into the rear third row of seats. When last I was car buying, the VW was the only seven seater I could find with ISofix points on all six passenger seats. Other makes did not cater ... We were so lucky to receive this car seat for free to test in exchange for our honest review. The first thing that my boy and I liked about it is the colour . It's Golden Cognac which goes really nicely with the interior of our car. Also my boy said it's a very cool colour . The car seat itself is lightweight for me to carry but very sturdy and it's of a great quality. It was very easy to connect to the isofix of the car . The isofix connection of the car seat comes out when pressing the button on the bottom of the car seat . The XP pad is a great addition and provides extra comfort when the belt is on . The SecureGuard is another amazing addition that represents an additional fourth fastening point when buckling up my child and it ensures perfect positioning over the pelvic bone and protects the sensitive abdominal area. It's for children from 3 and a half years old up to 12 years old which makes it great value for money too. The seat cover is removable and machine washable which is amazing as we all know young kids can be messy. Another great feature is the ventilation holes, carefully placed ,which effectively improve air circulation and provide extra comfort for longer car journeys. We used the car seat for longer car journey that was 3 hours and our boy even had a nap . He looked very comfortable and his head looked well secured. The headrest can move for the perfect position and fit for your child. Our boy said the car seat is very comfortable and he loves it . We have been using it almost every day for shorter car journeys too like taking him to school and going food shopping. It's very easy for him to get in and out the car seat and it's very easy for me to buckle him up. Overall this is an amazing, sturdy, very stylish and very comfortable car seat and I would recommend it to everyone.

This is the Britax Roemer Kidfix isize car seat suitable for height 100-150cm which is around ages 3.5yrs-12yrs old. So we tried it out for the first time today and so far we're loving how easy it is to install and how compact it is. It'll be good if you have to have more than one car seat in the car for more than one child or if you have a small car. If you have isofix in your car you can use the isofix to install it, the video on my profile shows how easy that is. You can install it with or without the plastic guides provided. Or you can just use the seatbelt, although that doesn't feel as secure compared to using the isofix. My daughter is 4 now and she doesn't particularly like the big bulky car seat we have anymore, which she finds difficult to get in and out ... It has a 3 point harness whereas the other one we have has a 5 point harness, although she prefers this one because she doesn't feel so restricted I feel like a 5 point harness is safer. Overall I think it is a good car seat for older children, it's really easy to install, it's not huge or heavy which is great for small cars and if you need to take it in and out the car or if you need to have more than one car seat in the car. #britax_uk #KidFixiSize #carseat #complimentary @britaxroemer @Influenster

We bought this for our 3 year old son having already had a britax romer 360 seat. I was open to other seats however this was the best quality seat I found with high safety ratings too. I wanted the option to recline the seat which is my only disappointment as this seat doesn't (which I knew when I bought it), however I was informed whilst looking that none of the seats for this group recline (not enough to make a difference). I was advised if your using isofix you can ensure the seat isn't too upright by not pushing it all the way in when fitting it. So far, our son's head has never dropped forward when asleep so we are really pleased with positioning so far. We have only used the isofix for fitting so far. My only other 'downside' is that the SICT knocked off whilst I was strapping my son in which I nearly lost when it fell out of the car. It has clipped back on. - just a minor point but when paying the price for a decent seat, it could be attached a little better. Obviously it'll help when he can strap himself in! Overall it's a really good seat, my son is very comfortable and I'd definitely recommend it. We're very happy!
Love this car seat. I have the green and the orange. I was apprehensive of switching my son into a seat belt car seat and researched to find this one was one of the safest. I love the extra features like the clip for the seat belt to go through and the chest pad. My son loves the colours and finds them comfortable and still can fall asleep in them as even at 4 he loves a car nap.Customer service from rear facing Ireland is also brilliant. Easy to contact and answers any questions you may have and delivery was fast.
I bought two of these in June 2022 for our 4.5 year old twins. They are really plush seats! Our boys find them very comfortable and being able to pull the base out a little to give a better recline for sleeping is excellent for long journeys and seems to avoid the head flop! There have been no complaints about the crotch strap however my daughter (8.5yrs) and her friends are not particularly keen on it; however my understanding is it is more to keep the lap belt below the abdomen for the smaller occupants so I'm not too worried about just leaving it unused when they are using the seats. We have to fit three seats across the back in our s-max and they are quite narrow so suited for this, either side of my daughters wider Joie seat. Great service from britax and John Lewis.
I was pleasantly surprised to be sent this car seat. I was sent the Britax Kidfix I Size seat for children aged 3.5-12 years. My son is 3.5 years. What a difference from the babyish seat he was previously in. The Kidfix seat is slim and attractive, it is easy to secure in with the Isofix points in my car which make it super safe. It has different headrest settings to make it suitable for the big age range and colour marked points so you know exactly where the seatbelt goes. My son is super comfy in it, it's generously padded with ventilation holes for optimum comfort and has passed vigorous safety tests so I know he is safe. It's easy to change the seat belt left or right depending what side you put them on and lightweight to transport to another car if necessary. ... It retails at around £199 which I'd be more than happy to pay as it's fantastic and will last years! Really impress, would highly recommend. ** Please note after taking photo I moved the headrest down to the correct height, and after a long drive my son was really happy, safe and comfortable :-)
This seat is extremely easy to fit (compared to the swivel seats I had when the children were babies). It is lightweight and comfortable- and the headrest seems sufficient to enable children to sleep during a journey. The one downside is that the child sits far lower in the car than in their baby car seat, which is a shame for children who enjoy gazing out of the window. However I assume this is for safety reasons and the safety rating was the reason we decided on this seat. More expensive than some other models but rates well with independent reviewers and will last until children can move out of car seats, so we decided to go ahead. Recommended!
Great seat. Our 8 year old has just got too tall for her Swedish extended rear-facing seats. This seat has a very impressive ADAC rating, extra chest protection, a clip to keep the lap belt in the right place and extra side impact protection. The navy colour looks very smart. The only issue us commom to all boosters: danging legs. We bought an inflatable footrest to give her something in the car footwell to rest her feet on.
I bought 2 of these in the golden colour and they look very nice and stylish against the black leather seats. My son (age 7) finds it very easy to put his seatbelt on and my daughter (age 4) can do it on her own but I do it for her and of course always double check my son has done it correctly. It was super easy to install and delivery was the very next day by UPS. Overall very happy with the look and how safe and secure the seats look with the children sat in them. The only ever so slight negative was there was a plastic cover (not the SICT block) that I just couldn't work out where it was supposed to go even after looking at the instructions (which by the way are hidden in the seat itself) Would highly recommend to anybody interested in purchasing a isotfit ...
