Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 Womens Running Shoes The Brooks Adrenaline model has for years been the go-to for many runners looking for stability without that overly bulky feel. The latest GTS 23 Running Shoes have had a few minor improvements and deliver plush comfort alongside support in a lightweight package, and they're ideal for those with mild to moderate overpronation. GuideRails are what adds the support and firm foam is placed around the heel, guiding the foot from heel strike to toe-off, preventing excess movement and preventing the arch from falling in. The midsole is made up completely from DNA Loft v2. A lighter weight cushioning for comfort during runs and also when walking or standing for long periods. It's firmer in the front for more bounce on toe-off. Flex grooves in the outsole mean transitions are as smooth as they come for an incredibly natural feel. The enhanced engineered air mesh upper provides comfort and breathability with 3D Fit Print for added structure. It is breathable and lightweight to ensure your feet don't overheat during hard efforts.

This is my first pair of Brooks Running shoes and overall I'm very impressed! The best way to describe these shoes is "no nonsense," and that's a good thing! To date, I have logged around 75 miles in these shoes, which includes a combination of shorter daily runs and a set of longer weekend sessions. The shoes wore in after about 5 miles and have felt very consistent since. Overall, the Adrenaline GTS 23 is a very light and somewhat stiff shoe that provides great tactile feedback while running. Support around the ankles is fantastic thanks to the higher than average upper portion on the back of the shoe. This provides great control whether running indoors, outdoors, or using them for cross-training on non-running days. This provides great control whether running indoors, outdoors, or using them for cross-training on non-running days. Though they are stiffer than other shoes I have tried, they are still extremely comfortable thanks to the generous padding in the heel, and I have had no problems with blisters even after extended runs. The underfoot feeling is also fantastic and will ensure that these remain in my regular rotation. My previous go-to pair featured a foam elastic sole to help with energy return that I purchased after experiencing knee strain. Due to this padding, it was difficult to tell what was happening under my feet. While this is okay for some situations, is not always what you want during a run. These Brooks shoes strike a good balance between padding and feedback and have become my regular runners. They have no visible wear and the green-blue-gray-white color combo also looks really cool!Overall, I'm super happy with these shoes and will definitely consider getting another pair from Brooks once these wear out!

I’ve been wearing these shoes for a few weeks and can boldly and confidently say they are my favorite shoes I’ve ever owned. Like any new pair, it was hard to tell when first slipping them on exactly what their feel would be after breaking them in. Within a week of making them my daily drivers, the soles had formed to my feet and I felt that walking-on-clouds feeling only a supremely comfortable shoe can provide. Before getting these, I rotated between 2-3 different shoes every day depending on what I was doing: 1 for working out, another for walking my kids around the neighborhood, and another slightly nicer sneaker when going to a restaurant. Now I do all of those in this one shoe. They are light and twitchy enough to take on a run, provide enough support to stand or walk for hours at a time, and sleek enough to accommodate a business casual look. I love the white/grey (Brooks calls it Oyster/Ebony/Alloy) colorway because it’s super versatile; I never have to worry if it’s going to clash with whatever else I’m wearing. The mesh exterior is breathable (enough so to withstand the Texas summer sun) and so far have found it to hold up well against light scratching and can be easily cleaned with a damp rag. My only quibble - and this is minor - on the overall aesthetic is that the material the logo is printed on on the sides of the shoes looks and feels a little cheap. It stands out to me because every other aspect of the shoe is high quality. I just can’t shake the thought that at some point it’s going to peel off. That’s not enough though to keep me from absolutely loving this shoe. I think these will last me a long time, but whenever it’s time to replace them, I’m buying another pair. I wear a size 10 and they fit exactly as expected.

The Adrenaline GTS 23 is a great shoe, but the quality control and depiction of colors are a problem.Quality control: With Glycerin GTS 19 & 20 and Adrenaline GTS 22 & 23, it's been my experience that one or both shoes are not flat/balanced. Take them out of the box, set them on the counter or floor, and then apply light, downward pressure to the top of the back of the heel. Try to gently wiggle the shoe by moving your finger slightly side-to-side. There should be no obvious wobble. Yes, there should be a little sway and no two shoes are identical, but you'll commonly find at best that one shoe is fine, and the other wobbles left or right. Or that they both wobble. Seldom get two shoes that just sit flat. The wobble won't go away over time and causes me pain in ... MoreThe Adrenaline GTS 23 is a great shoe, but the quality control and depiction of colors are a problem.Quality control: With Glycerin GTS 19 & 20 and Adrenaline GTS 22 & 23, it's been my experience that one or both shoes are not flat/balanced. The entire shoe is lighter in color than the light grey depicted as the highlight in the photo. 373 - Green Gecko/Grey/Atomic Blue is actually all the color of the light green highlight and looks bright fluorescent green in person--the entire shoe, that is. Kinda looks like Kermit green in the photo, but is not at all like that. Neither shoe looks anything like the photos, in terms of color. Not talking slight variation here, but almost borderline catfishing, in terms of looking nothing like the photo at all. I was so disappointed and sent back the same day. Should've taken photos, but to be honest, I was actually furious and couldn't believe how off the colors were.I will buy this shoe again and still recommend it, but check for the wobble and be prepared for the color shock.

The Brooks brand has been my go-to for running shoes for many years. Previously I had been extremely loyal to the ghosts, however, I have fully been converted to the Adrenalines for a number of reasons.1) by far my number one reason is the roll guards. The second I put them on I realized that this would help prevent rolled ankles. I danced for many years and have had numerous high ankle sprains and am very prone to rolling, this design has helped me feel more confident while running2) Lightweight - when I first saw them in the box I was worried they’d be heavier than my ghosts as the roll guards make them look slightly bulkier. I was pleased when I checked that they way the same as my ghosts at 9oz.3) these give fantastic support, I have high arches and haven’t ... MoreThe Brooks brand has been my go-to for running shoes for many years. In general I feel brooks does a great job with their wide shoes, and the adrenaline is no exception. There is no pinching or rubbing on the box of my foot, but it tapers well so that there is no excess room around the arch or heel. These shows are phenomenal and I cannot recommend them enough!
I switched to wearing Brooks Adrenaline's after wearing another brand I loved for many years. This particular brand changed their style, and it caused my feet to get a ranging case of plantar fasciitis. Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21's saved my feet - thank you! I'm an avid walker and honestly the only disappointment of the GTS 21's is the inside heal wearing so quickly....within 2-3 months’ time. When you pay good money for sneakers, something like that should not wear so quickly. I recently purchased the GTS 22's, the shoelaces are horrible (and see the new 23's have the same laces too, Brooks didn't listen to their customers!!!!). They are flat, slippery and WAY TOO SHORT!! I use all the eyelets and by the time you do, there is hardly enough lace left to finish tying. ... MoreI switched to wearing Brooks Adrenaline's after wearing another brand I loved for many years. I use all the eyelets and by the time you do, there is hardly enough lace left to finish tying. Please bring back the old oval, longer laces! (I'll be buying oval, longer ones to replace the horrible flat ones.) I also feel the heal cup is not as deep, there is a definite difference, when I put my GTS 21's and 22's on. The 22's do not surround/hug my heel as nicely. I'll continue to wear the Adrenaline's (and my worn-out ones too!!!) because I think they really are one of the best sneakers I've tried since switching from my last go to brand, but certainly a lot of room for improvement!
This is my fourth pair of Brooks and my favorite one so far. I just ran my first 10k in this pair today - they passed the test! They fit like a glove and feel comfy and I do not think about my feet while I’m running (in a good way!). They are also gorgeous, with great construction (something I’ve been disappointed with in competitor brands). I got the Kentucky blue flood and am thinking about getting a second casual pair because they are so pretty. I’m not a sneaker-wearer for day wear so that’s saying a lot.Previously I’ve added arch support insoles based on the recommendation of my local run shop, but after a few runs with their own insoles and the new add-in soles I ordered, I have liked the Brooks insoles better. In the past I have had some ankle slippage ... MoreThis is my fourth pair of Brooks and my favorite one so far. I didn’t actually notice ankle slippage in this model, but I kept the lacing since I can tighten the midsole and ankle laces independently. However, the laces are short. It’s actually kinda nice and makes for a bit of a sleeker shoe, but if my foot were any wider I might not be able to tie and double knot them, especially with the special lace.
I am not a runner. I was simply shoping for a pair of comfortable every day shoes and having experience with Brooks running shoes i decided to but the newest year model the GTS 23. Again, i am not a runner and can only speak of things i have experienced which is every day walking and i am very impressed by the support and the overall comfort and durability of htese shoes. To date, this pair Adrenalin GTS 23 is the best walking shoes (never ran in them yet) i have ever owned. My right foot is flat and hurts bad when walking in cheap or formal type shoes. I have been wearing brooks fo rhte last, maybe 5 years and no pain. The overall support from both sides of the foot is very good. The shoe is not soft like walking on jello but rather firm but at the same time cushioning and soft, hard to explain but great engineering however they achieved it. They say in online reviewes that there is almost no difference between year 22 and 23 model but bought both and even for my unprofessional and untrained feel i could tell right away a world of difference in support and overall feel between this year and last year model with 23 being much more supportive in the guardrail on the sides of the feal and side of the foot keeping the foot streight. ANother thing i liked is how Brooks offered the no husstle buy-try-return if dont like system. Could not make my mind between Adrenalin 22 and 23 and bought both and tried them on. After liking 23's i returned the 22's and money were refunded as soon as the post office created a lable. Brooks seems to be good about this and as long as they do business like this i will always come back for shoes as i really like them.
I wear Brooks shoes for walking (running is too stressful for my older feet, knees, and back). I've tried shoes designed for walking, but they are too stiff & boxy. I like the flexibility and support of a running shoe. I've even had doctors recommend Brooks running shoes for my arthritic feet.I walk about 4 to 5 miles each day on neighborhood sidewalks and streets. The Adrenaline shoe is very supportive. Because my feet have been supporting me for more than 72 years, I think they deserve the best and most comfortable shoe. I like the cushioning, the arch support and the general stability that the shoe provides. I've been wearing Brooks shoes for about 20 years.I love the color (the black one with the reddish-orange sole). I bought two pairs of this color because I love it so much! I usually choose Brooks shoes in basic black with white soles and a bright flash of red or magenta if possible. When a favorite color combo appears, I try to buy more than one pair.I wear a women's size 10 M in Brooks shoes, but I wear size 9 in nearly all other shoe brands. I've always worn size 10 M in Brooks. This size shoe fits my different sized feet: one foot is about 1/4" longer than the other. A larger shoe would be too big for my smaller foot, so I have to choose a size in the middle to make both feet happy. My longest foot measures exactly ten inches from heel to longest toe.The only thing I would change in the Adrenaline GTS 22 is the tongue -- I wish it were just a bit longer. Another issue I've had with recent Brooks shoes is the fabric lining the inside of the shoe, which has worn out too quickly (pills appear & holes wear through the inner fabric), especially in the interior heel area of the shoe. Also, I really wish the soles on Brooks shoes lasted just a bit longer. I have had the front of the sole, where it wraps around the shoe in front of the toes, wear through on one side before the sole under my foot is worn out. This wear pattern in the front of the shoe must be related to my stride, and the way my foot hits the pavement.I save my worn out Brooks shoes for yard work. It is difficult to part with worn out Brooks shoes!
These shoes really impressed me. I would say the sizing is spot on, so when I received the size 8 regular, they fit me like a glove. The primary thing I noticed when I first put them on was the ample arch support and a very cushioned sole. The first day, I just wore them around the house, and I found them to be extremely comfortable. At first, I found the ankle area to be a little stiff, but after breaking them in a little, that issue disappeared. A day later, I wore these guys on my first run. The cohesive mix of colors makes them appealing, and this particular combination is only one of many choices. If I could change something, I'd probably have the mid sole be slightly roomier. I felt like out of the box when I had them laced up tight, the tongue pressed a little hard into the top of my foot. Loosening the laces slightly helped alleviate it, and once they were properly broken in, it became a non-issue. At the end of the day, I'd say this is an incredibly versatile running shoe. Another great shoe from Brooks.
