The PT-P750W is a powerful, yet easy-to-use label maker with plenty of wireless and wired connectivity options. It is easy for multiple users, even on different computers and mobile devices, to create and print virtually any durable, colorful, professional label they can imagine. With a built-in wireless 802.11b/g/n interface, the PT-P750W is the ideal choice for sharing a label printer amongst multiple users. Pre-loaded labeling software lets you plug into nearly any PC or Mac computer via its USB interface and almost immediately begin designing and printing labels, with the convenience of using a monitor and full-sized keyboard. PC and Mac users can also greatly expand the capabilities of the PT-P750W by installing the robust P-touch Editor Label Design Software, which is available as a free download. Create and print labels with ease right from compatible Apple iOS or Android mobile devices using the free Brother iPrint&Label app. The PT-P750W is also NFC compatible, so you can "touch to connect" to quickly establish contact with most NFC-capable devices. Though it's great for individual label printing, the PT-750W is particularly well-suited to multi-label creation jobs thanks to its fast print speeds, repeat printing capability, and automatic half or full tape cutter. The versatile PT-750W gives you several powering options as well. Use the included AC cable or 6 AA batteries (sold separately) to power the unit for use at a desk, or make it truly portable by running it on a rechargeable Li-ion battery.

AA batteries in 2023???

Why no bluetooth connectivity? I don't understand why I need to disconnect my phone from my Wi-Fi and instead connect it to my label printer in order to print...On the plus side, the companion app is quite well designed and will even allow you to create and save custom labels. It is a bit annoying however that it doesn't limit the possible label designs displayed purely to the ones compatible with whatever sticker size you currenlty have installed. It only notifies you that you're trying to print on the wrong sized sticker only after you've created. your label and click "Print".

I can save label templates to create a house-style to reuse which is great for me as I am a bit obsessive on order and continuity. I can ensure the label template is a fixed size so if the text changes the label always fills the space just right. Also it prints just the right amount of label with less waste than my portable so saves on expensive tape. It is mains so doesn't need batteries (although you can use them if you want) but this is a big saving as the hand-held used lost of batteries. The software feels a bit clunky, particularly around colour choice and selections, but is functional and I would not want them to exchange functionality for pretty. The half-cut device is bonus I didn't appreciate until I used it, I spend less time with my nails trying to separate the backing from the sticky-label. When using transparent tape this reduces the likelihood of my fingerprints showing on the corners!A small disappointment was that I did want a simple coach-line frame (a rectangle with scalloped corners, as shown in some Brother advertising) but this was not actually on the list of frames available. So, the facility to download free additional designs would be cool.Overall, extremely happy with the Brother PTP750W that now sits happily within wi-fi reach of my set-up.

It's now been weeks and they have yet to respond from my additional requests. I also had to open a second ticket on the issue, because they CLOSED the original one without ever making sure the issue was resolved.Ability to get support is a very large part of any product review for me and others should be aware of what to expect in this ... MoreI put off writing this review awaiting a fix from Brother Support for the application used to print the labels. Great Little Tape Printer
4 March 2023

This is a really great little tape printer. It is compact, compatible with a large number of label tape options. The software works well and provides for customizable output. I use mine with stencil tape to make stencils for electro-chemical etching. I am very happy with the output...does exactly what I needed it to do. Also, very useful for making custom stick-on labels.

Great machine with some minor limitations.
12 March 2022

The machine is great. Easy to use, load, and the software is easy to use. The only thing is it wastes tape. It maybe a setting but it rolls some tape out then cuts it off then prints before every label. Then the 2nd downer is the graphics in the software on all platforms is limited when they could be more abundant and better. Other than those two things it works great and has many tape options in size, color and tape type mediums.

Powerful professional labeler with lots of software and connectivity options
11 March 2024

Professional labeler works great with Windows software and IOS app for cables. The NFC function does not work with IOS, only Android. Its not difficult to setup a direct wifi connection between the app and the printer, or from Windows with a wireless network. The USB wire works fine from Windows PC. The software requires some getting used to. The BT versions are more flexible in connectivity than the W versions.

Quirky software, very good printer
20 June 2022

I really like this printer, but the software that it is bundled with is a bit quirky. For example, one day it started placing all text within a frame on any new label. I figured out how to turn it off temporarily, but it comes right back with the next new label. Really annoying. I can’t figure how to make it gone and keep it gone.It prints beautiful labels any number of ways. They are always crisp, easy to read, and do the job well. The Brother software has tons of features, some are hidden deep within the sub menus. Often trying to find a feature requires going to the on-line help (which isn’t always easy to maneuver through.) which can be a pain. And the help info is hit or miss as to if the topic one is looking for exists. This printer is more temperamental ... MoreI really like this printer, but the software that it is bundled with is a bit quirky. For example, it has jammed more times than any other brother label printer. When it jams, the tape cartridge is done. You cannot repair it, you just have to toss it.But those are minor inconveniences that can be overcome. For the most part the printer works well, does exactly what it is supposed to do, and does that well over and over again.I like the chain printing feature which saves quite a bit on tapes. Otherwise every label has an 1” to 1.5” of leader before the actual text.

Useful printer, label design software a bit crude, Brother let themselves down
24 October 2018

The design software is fiddly to use but you an save templates for future use once you've got it right. The quality of the printing is no better than their hand-held label printers but at least you don't waste a lot of blank label tape when printing. I haven't tried the app as I don't think that gives you many options in terms of design. I paid significantly less than the retail price. However, be aware that you will almost certainly have to contact Brother in order to register for the guarantee as they block online registration after 6 months from their shipping date. Also, they tried to tell me that their 3-year guarantee is from the date of shipping, not the date of purchase. Yeah, right, try that one in court!

Wifi feature is not good at all
15 March 2021

I chose this particular machine because I thought the wifi feature would be very convenient in that it would allow you to print from you mobile device but the feature does not function well at all. This is true with my both my Android and iOS devices. Every time I try to print from my mobile devices, the app says that it is unable to connect to a device. So I have to try multiple ways to get it to connect to my device even trying to connect manually with the IP address doesn't work. I always have to connect through direct wifi and then it will connect. But that means I have to disconnect from the network I'm on and then connect to the printer. I just think the connection process should flow more smoothly any time I want to print wirelessy.

Works well with wide tapes

Setup is a little tricky. Once you get familiar with it, it works great. I tested it with generic tapes and it printed well. I use it with a USB and Power cable. I installed the full PC program it has alot of templates.
