Does not break down and soften when you add water as instructed but stays in hard clumps you can't break down. Not even if you leave it to the following day.

Whoever have this product 1 star have no clue what they are reviewing. This is brilliant. I use it as seed starting by adding half a bucket sand and half a bucket compost.

Have bought my third brick of this for my indoor plants. It is extremely cost efficient. Considering that peat moss is 5L for $6, this really is a bang for your buck as it only costs $2 for up to 9L of coco coir when fully hydrated. Not to mention, it's eco-friendly compared to peat moss (as peat moss is unsustainable).Only thing I would say is that when you're hydrating it, add water in increments instead of all at once as this will avoid the coco coir becoming "muddy".Overall, great product, cost efficient, feels great to touch!

I always had problem with starter mix or potting mix with my propogation. The plants are really easy to get rotted. I got success using this product. It does not provide any nutrient to the plants, but at least its bacteria and disease free.
I always add a block of this to a bag of potting mix to make it go further & help stop pot plants drying out. Also great for the worm farm bedding
This was 1/4 the cost of the worm bedding block which I believe is the same thing. I’ve just used this to refill a worm tray and will report back if the worms aren’t happy, but so far, so good.
Use to lighten potting mixture in tubs - also great as a mulch
Love this, light weight just add water when ready to use! I use it with compost/potting mix/garden soil & on its own, also great as a top dressing (mixed into top few cms) for garden/pots/baskets
Quality product at a great price. i only buy this one as its natural unlike other types or brands
used it on my plants on its own, results are just good perfect balance,my plant's loved it,no Browning just lush green
