This is a much better product for raising seeds than the seed raising mixes that are available. After two weeks the seeds are going well. What I would really like is to be able to buy the product that the seedling suppliers use in their seedling punnets - I mixed this with peat moss and put some worm juice from my worm farm on it - I wont be going back to seed raising mixes.

Very good product. I use it to mix with 10 Litres of Osmocote seed raising mix, makes an awesome combination for raising seeds & seedlings.

Its clean sand. It'll do the trick when it comes to propagating. Dropped one star because it wasn't as coarse as I expected it to be and its a little more pricey than it should be.
My plants are growing well with this product mixed in. Wish it comes in a bigger quantity bag and the bag often split on the sides and the sand leaks out
A manageable weight. I use it to propagating sand to top dress my lawn in those damp spots, to kill moss and to mix with potting mix for to strike cuttings, succulents, cacti and other plants that need free draining soil.
This is a mineral rich enhancer for young plants and cuttings.
I don't like sand. It's all coarse and rough and irritating. And it gets EVERYWHERE - Anakin Skywalker
First stage when planting Cacti or Succulents
A brilliant product for simple propagation of cuttings: moisture doesn't linger too long, inducing rot.
