I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. This is like gel from the 80's but refined. Not too thick or sticky. Smells great and you don't need much for a good hold. If you want a classic gel it's a great choice.

What's it like to use? A.) It's fine. Q.) Does it hold your hair all day? A.) Not really. Q.) Is it heavy or light? A.) It's light enough. Q.) Is it better than your other gel? A.) Not really. Q.) Would you use it again? A.) Yes.

Although not the cheapest this is definitely the best. I've bought loads of other gels and always regret buying them as they never cut the mustard the same as the Brylcreem Extreme Gel does. A little bit goes a long way. I always apply to slightly damp hair after a shower when it's been towelled but not fully dry and the results are always exactly as I like. I wear it pretty much every single day and I don't even bother looking elsewhere for alternatives any more. Very much recommended.

This was given to me by Ocado in exchange for a review and I asked a younger relative (with more hair than me!) to review it. He was happy with how well it worked - effective - and while he liked the smell he wouldnt risk his friends knowing he used Brylcreem because its too old fashioned! Brylcreem may have some work to do on their brand for the younger generation.......
This is probably one of the best hair gels available for men. I have used it for a long time. It keeps my hair styled and in place for hours, and is relatively easy to wash out. However, despite the fact that it is marketed as "wet look" gel, I didn't think that it really did make my hair look "wet". It does the job very well, though, which is all that really matters. And, it isn't too expensive.
I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I remember my granddad wearing Brylcreem and it getting EVERYWHERE, so I wasn't sure how this'd compare. Thankfully, it's nothing like that and gives great hold all day. It felt kinda 80s, but in a good way!
Been using this type of product for the past 3 years and really like it.However its been increasingly harder to find in the shops as the new Red and Silver packaging one seems to be a lot more "sticky" and "thicker" than the one in this black tube.So ordered 5 of these on line as I was really pleased to have found it!!Highly disappointed to have received 5 of the new red ones!! when the picture shown was the one I was looking for. may have well have bought them from the shop!
I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. This seems to be the same Brylcreem gel which has been around for a long time. I love the smell of this and as a strong hold gel it works really well. It has a very different finish to a wax, so it suits short hair best.
I bought this as I know brylcreem is a long standing hair brand so I figured they must know what they’re doing. Not so. It smells lovely and does initially hold the style but only for a couple of hours... halfway through the day total hair collapse looms. We’ve tried it for the last week using increasingly more to see if hols improves but it’s still under performing. Wouldn’t buy again :-(
Received this free from Ocado to review. The branding brought back memories - back in the day, I had my Paula Yates short haircut with quiffy bit and there were NO hair products beyond killer hairspray so I raided the men?s shelves and used brylcream. I absolutely LOVE seeing this being used by my kids now. Brings such a smile to my face! They like the smell and how well it works.
