This travel cot really does have it all. It takes seconds to put up which takes the stress out of bedtime in a new environment. I love the newborn insert which at just under 6 months my son is still using as it keeps him higher up, maintaining his routine and saving my back during night feeds and inevitable dummy searches in the dark! The mattress is like no other travel cot I’ve used, it’s comparable to a standard cot mattress and you’ll never feel like you’re making your child sleep on the floor again! The Stardust is as easy the put down as it is up and it’s so slim and compact in its bag making it easy to travel with and to store when not in use. Practical, comfortable and with all of the style you would expect from the Bugaboo brand, this really is a travel cot ... MoreThis travel cot really does have it all. Excellent quality, easy to remove and machine washable fabric. It indeed takes a second to unfold it (you still then need to attach the baby bassinet if you have a newborn). It’s not especially small when folded and you need to do some Tetris in the trunk. I loved the transport bag as well. Most importantly, my baby loved the bed and enjoys sleeping in it. We are going on a longer vacation soon and I’m bringing the Stardust with us, hopefully it will help the little one feel like home.

I bought this before my DD was born she is now 4 months old. We used it daily in the living room and this was left up until she was big enough for her swing at about 8 weeks old.I have taken this away with me on 3 occasions. It does go up in a flash and is easy enough to put away. She is baby no.3 so I have used other travel cots before. My main comment on this would be it is not easy to walk up and down stairs with, due to the length and width when folded in the carry bag. Whereas the more traditional fold on other travel cots has prevented this from happening. It isn’t light weight either. The materials are good quality as you would expect from Bugaboo. This is a great light and compact bassinet/play yard. We compared it to the Nuna offerings and it was just so much easier to transport and fit in our smaller home. It's not too big and bulky. The Grey Melange color is very nice and goes with everything. Feels very sturdy and well built. The only downside is that the spare Stardust mattress is out of stock everywhere so we're not sure if we will be able to get one if needed. Not sure how long the mattress will last.
I bought the Stardust after doing my fair share of research, and it’s been amazing so far. Our baby has slept in it every night since we’ve left the hospital. It’s easy to fold, and it’s super lightweight. I use it all over the house. The bassinet portion says it can hold 19 lbs, but I felt like it was slightly “drooping,” once my baby hit 12lbs. Most bassinets on the market can only hold 15lbs anyway, so I’m happy our baby can still sleep in our room using the bottom portion of the Stardust. It’s really the best of both worlds!
I bought this cot 2 days ago ( traded in the aeromov for it). This cot meets all the safety regulations mentioned by choice that’s why I traded it in. But if I knew it didn’t have the bassinet insert like I saw on all the videos I wouldn’t of paid $450 for it. Especially if you can get a joie or roger Armstrong portacot that’s larger, meets all safety (those that are also not included in the safety measures for cots) for half the price. Too late to trade it in now as I didn’t realise until my baby slept in it last night. It was too late/tired and was going to add it in the morning. I would of beeen better off keeping the aeromov
I bought the Stardust a few weeks ago when we planned to go on a four week road trip with our 4-month old. Doing the research was tiring: a lot of these travel cots look the same, there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference other than in the price. Yes, the Bugaboo is pricey, but: so far it's absolutely been worth it.It folds down flat and fits easily under the cot in our son's room – or the trunk of the hire car we got. Setting it up and folding it up takes just as little time as marketing wants to make you believe, it's great. It's slightly more clunky with the newborn inlay zipped in, but it's still super fast and simple. And if you do that over the course of four weeks in multiple countries and hotel rooms you really start to appreciate the smart design. The ... The carrier bag is helpful, particularly when you schlepp all the stuff around that you have to schlepp around when you travel with a baby. The best thing, of course, is the fact that our son sleeps in it. No matter where we put up the Stardust.
At first I was a bit hesitant of buying this travel bed as it is pricy. However, it’s one of the best investments I’ve done. In retrospect you really get value for money! It’s perfect for travelling as it isn’t bulky and doesn’t occupy the entire boot. Moreover, it’s extremely easy and handy to fold and unfold; definitely lives up to its promise. Finally, I love that everything is washable and that you can use the “newborn level” up to 9kg. Your back and spine will thank you for that. One thing I would suggest, however, is that a zip on the side would be great for when the child is older so that he/she can crawl out of the bed on their own. Other than that, GREAT product.
Very happy with the Bugaboo Stardust. It's a super nice design, which means it doesn't look out of place in any room in the house. It's light and very easy to pack and unpack and the materials feel very premium. It's a micro crib size means it slots into small spaces. The newborn height is an excellent and useful feature saving your back. We recommend.
I am absolutely excited about this stardust play yard! I did a lot of tease arch and came across this! With my first child I’ve learned my lesson in what I didn’t want again or have constant bruises or migraines from fighting with a play yard because my first play yard experience was an absolute nightmare! I purchased this because a lot of verified customer reviews said the mattress that comes with this play yard is comfortable and soft while still having the firmnesses that’s required for babies by rule of thumb. I was also reading how easy it was to collapse and put up which in my mind I was like “yeah sure ok” we shall see. I love bugaboo I’ve had to save up to get bugaboo products but I love the customer service they provide even if you buy from a 3rd party ... MoreI am absolutely excited about this stardust play yard! Bugaboo has never done me wrong I was so happy I was able to save up for this my son loves the mattress and sleep soundly while having plenty of room to play in when we are outside or tracking it also comes with this awesome travel bag and honestly it was super easy to out the play yard back into!! My only complaint was t with the product itself but more with the shipping …I absolutely hate FEDEX and when I saw who was handling my shipment I was concerned and hoping things would just go smoothly. But when it got here the box was ripped open and I don’t mean a small rip I mean like someone tore open the box on Christmas morning….my bugaboo play years was sticking out of this huge torn area I saw right of the bat a huge hole in the fabric it wasn’t handled with care but buy buy customer service got right on it and took care of me! I was really upset because I needed it for a family reunion and we were staying in a hotel and I knew shipping took 2.5 weeks they reassured me they would put a rush on it to insure I had it! I was so happy to get my replacement in 4 business days! And I was also relieved because again these aren’t cheap! This play yard ran me a pretty penny or two but worth it. I would recommend this product to anyone.
