I bought the product with some of the BullDog shaving blades. It is a nice comfortable shave with the product. My gripe with it is that I read on the back there were no added synthetic fragrances added to the product. Since I am sensitive to those I decided to give it a try. The fragrance from the product is exceptionally strong, and while it may be a 'natural' fragrance like aloe or something, it was just too much for me. If they made a truly fragrance free version of this product I would likely buy it as otherwise this seems to work well with their blades. Nice comfortable shave.

The delivery of my package was prompt, and it arrived in excellent condition, securely packed. The tube containing the shaving gel is of medium size, with a volume of 175 ml. The gel itself has a transparent appearance, a moderately thick texture, and a delightful fragrance. It proves to be cost-effective, suitable for sensitive skin and effectively prevents skin irritation. After using the gel, my skin feels gentle and smooth. The overall quality of the product is exceptional.

I'm a woman, used it to shave my legs with a safety razor, the smell is very pleasant and not overpowering, it is more masculine but not extremely so. The consistency is a clear yellowish gel. It worked with the safety razor but didn't feel creamy and felt like less protection from the sharp razor. I did get a nice shave without irritation but sadly won't purchase again, although it's a great product. I think for the regular modern Venus Gillette razor and the like, it will work well.

First, is made of more natural ingredients from what I can tell with a cursory read of the label, it has a few light oil and such that are known to be good for conditioning the skin. It is quite different to use in that it really did not foam up as one would expect a gel shave product to do. It did stick to my skin, and there is something to actually see come off your face as you use the razor. I suppose that it is something that I will get used to. It does work pretty well. It seems to soften the skin, and I did not get any Nick's, Cuts, or abrasions (the first sign that is shaving preparations not Worthing for me). my skin does not feel oily or unclean and It produced a comfortable close shave.I guess that what I cannot get by, ... Bulldog Shaving Gel is absolutely my go-to shaving lotion. It takes only a little bit to cover my face & gives on extremely smooth & comfortably, leaving a warm, tingly feeling on the skin. The shave is very close w/o nicks & burns and tends to not leave the “missed spots” other brands seem to with me.If you’ve never tried the gel, try it once; you won’t go back to what you’ve used before.
So at first, I was a little unsure about this shave gel. It has a cooling sensation that I'm not used to and normal don't like. However, after a couple shaves, I got used to the cooling and actually like it now. I have very dry, sensitive skin and this does not bother my skin at all. It lathers like a soap and I can shave my face with a small amount and use only one application. Normally, I have to lather up a second time with other products. So, to me it's a great value, as I'm using a lot less. It rinses clean as well. Give this one a shot and a couple shaves. It's my new favorite shaving product.
The first time I bought Bulldog shave gel, I bought the unscented, sensitive skin formula and liked it, but then tried a couple of different brands which I didn't like as well. When I decided to buy Bulldog brand again, I couldn't find the formula I previously used on Grove's website. I figured there couldn't be THAT much difference between the formulas and bought this one, the original. I'm glad I did because I really like this shave gel even better than the first one I used. It smells great, and my razor easily glides through the gel for a nice, close shave. I personally prefer gel because I have never experienced irritation or ingrown hairs with it as I have from foam or lotion based shaving products. I highly recommend it.
