Angela doesn’t know what she is talking about. Coconut oil contains all 4 medium chain fatty acids. (C6, C8, C10, C12). Brain octane is purified to only have 100% C8 fatty acids. So no it’s not the same as coconut oil lol. That’s because caprylic acid (C8) seems to be the most metabolically active medium-chain fatty acid. And you better believe your stomach and digestive system will tell the difference between coconut oil and C8 MCT oil.

Well I just purchased this and my daughter who is in the USAF told me about it, Everyone in her Squadron including her are taking this with there protein shakes. I am going to try it, because at my age 47 I have no energy by the end of the day to do nothing I just want to shower and sleep plus I suffer from Migraine's and I feel like my memory is not so good and I love to workout but I'm just to tired. I will give my review after a month of trying this.

Angela doesn’t understand science. This is filtered oil to reduce the amount of irritating shorter oils found in regular coconut oil. C8 specifically is readily utilized for metabolism. Try drinking liquid coconut oil and let me know how your stomach feels.

Buy it!

I definitely recommend it, but very oily. I have used in it cooking, coffee, and shakes. I drink my coffee black and the oil just sits on top and makes my coffee oily and even though it’s flavorless, my coffee tastes even more bitter. In cooking, it works, but not my fav. I mix mct oil in my shakes and it works! No oiliness or residue.

MCT oil adds a great quality taste to my morning bulletproof coffee. My coffee tastes creamy and is a satisfying feeling of comfortable fullness to start off the day.Quite rewarding to experience loss of weight and clothing size along with a special coffee treat.

Great product

Definitely makes a difference, gets your brain going quickly. Don’t use too much as it will have you heading to the bathroom. I have used other brands and I find this one works more effectively and as advertised.

It definitely does what it's intended to do. Just beware that it's VERY OILY. So just a word of caution, don't use this in any hard to clean plastic containers because it will leave an oily residue all over it. I love that it doesn't have a flavor.

This brain octane mct oil changed my life. I live in a constant state of fatigue. I get in this bone-tired state in the afternoon where I just have zero energy to do anything. Even talking is just too much for my body. Adding this to my morning smoothie has given me the ability to survive a day! Lol! Will change your life!

I don’t know why the other review bought this without research it sits in the medicinal/health section of the store nowhere near the coconut oil. Blend it with a cup of coffee and a tablespoon of unsalted butter and it will change your life. Then work to intermittent fast because it helps fight cravings and watch the weight come off faster. We’ve been cyclical keto for 4 years this oil has been every rug for us. You can put it in smoothies, over meals to add fat content, or just in coffee. It can’t be cooked at a high time or in styrofoam just for fair warning.

clean tasting

super clean tasting, even licking tbsp afterwards results in no real taste. i use a 3/4 tbsp of this to add 10 grams of a healthy fat to my keto chow nutritional meal/snack shakes for fat is needed to absorb the vitamins/minerals in those.. i also use up to a tbsp or two of this oil when cooking things like keto pancakes or making ice cream.. it is pricey but, after giving the opportunity to try a handful of other mct oils, this one simply stood out as the best and its pure C8 really does help keep my ketones leveled.. also does mix well in hot coffee, doesn’t glob/pool up on top of coffee like most other brands..
