I got this for my 5 month old who’s just starting cereal & he seems to be fairly comfortable sitting & eating in it, especially w/the handy tray attached. He can’t sit up fully unsupported yet, so I put a couple folded burp pads around his back & keep him steady & from leaning to one side, It’s very easy to get him in & out of the seat, but my only complaint is that it’s tricky to adjust any of the straps on this thing, so it took me awhile to figure out during the initial set up. Also I’d suggest buying in-store, if possible, because during shipping mine was put in a shipping BAG (instead of a box), so when it arrived it was pretty beat up & scratched. Overall it’s a good buy though & I’m happy w/my purchase.

It also follows guidelines for babies position when eating and a lot of brands don’t!The only negative thing I would say is suction plates and bowls don’t suck or fit the tray well. Out of half a dozen only one of ours works on it.

I wanted something that my 3 year old could use until tall enough to sit solo on our dining chairs. From the start we wanted our babies to eat with us at the table. We’ve been using a clip-on seat that attaches to our table, but because our table has a lip, the leg openings are now too small. So we are using it for his younger sibling. This Bumbo seat has a solid softness, nice weight to it and I love the neutral color. It was lovely minus the fact that I won’t have the option to remove the seat harness without damaging the plastic connectors. Ideally I’d like the option to remove them or put them back on when it’s time to pass it down to the younger one.
We bought two of these for our twins and they have been LIFESAVERS! We love them. Our girls love them. The only real “complaint” I have is they could be easier to transport. The inner seat comes up easily. Also, we bought the black/cool grey combo. In the photos it is a shiny black outer seat (correct) and a metallic looking grey inner seat (wrong). The inner seat is just a regular solid grey. It wasn’t what we thought but we love them so it wasn’t worth returning for. Overall these are great. Just know the color may not be exact.
We can’t get past the smell. We received this as a gift. It had a horrible mildew smell and no box, I assumed it was a return or just an error because it arrived in a bag. We ordered it again, different color, and the smell is so bad I had to sit it in our basement until I can make it into the store to return. It also arrived in a bag, not a box. I assume they must sit in a warehouse somewhere. Would not recommend.
I bough this chair a few weeks back and unfortunately received an old damaged bumbo chair that was the return of another buyer. Upon second purchase (having to return the first myself) I did receive a new chair. The chair is pretty good, it would be great to have an adjustable table top as it’s a little snug on my sons legs and no way to adjust. Otherwise seems like a chair we will use.
I received my first seat it seemed like a return food under one of straps and clip to hold on to bottom side of chair was broken. Called and got replacement. All pieces work on this one but this had no plastic over it and was a little dirty when opened. A little disappointed as I ordered and paid for a new item. I was able to clean up seat and since second seat is safe I think I will just keep it. I otherwise do like it. Seat seems comfortable and perfect height for my 3 year old. Seat it self I would give 5 stars. Target distribution of seat 1-2 stars. Not sure if they are refurbished, as both seem to have been used. If so should just mention in description.
LOVE this Bumbo chair! I was debating between the regular Bumbo- and this one with the tray- get the tray, people! When it came time to start spoon feeding- we used this on the counter (she wasn’t quite big enough for her high chair yet)! Tray stores in back- super easy to clean! This item was also our lifesaver for all our cabin trips- so easy to bring with for feeding during travel! It was also so nice to sit her up and have her play while watching me get things done- the tray helps with toys as well! Straps attach around bottom of chair as well! Get the Bumbo with tray- this is one of the baby items I couldn’t live without!

When i took it out of the box you can see fingerprints around the seat and i can see they wiped the seat but forgot to dry it off. So I wiped off the whole seat and put my child to see if she’ll fit in. When i pulled out the tray from it’s storage place there are multiple markings/scratches on the tray. Tried to use wet wipes and dry it off but the markings are still there. Also the warning sticker of the seat has damage which i assume that the item has been out of the box for a long time or its a return item?
