Burberry Her London Dream 100 ml Eau De Parfum Spray

I recieved this fragrence in my monthly fragrence subscription. while this scent is a fresh floral, and smells so good, it has almost zero lasting power, becomes more of a skin scent, which is really disappointing b/c this scent has potential, but it honestly just falls flat around the 30/40min mark after application, I've applied with lotion, right after shower, etc. And while this could just be my body chemistry, it seems I'm not alone on this opinion. This opens on me with a strong yet beautiful lemon scent, with a splash of peony and musk, then around the 5min mark, I get more of the rose, amber and ginger and the lemon is now lingering in the background. I received a few sample sizes of perfume the other day. I finally was able to try this Burberry London Dream and I was very pleased with the scent. I have had bad luck with perfumes lately, and they all seem to smell like something my mother would wear. More musk smell. I prefer more sweet scents, floral, and citrus undertones. After trying this sample size of Burberry, I want to buy the full size bottle. It really helps being able to try a product before you buy it, especially when it comes to fragrances. I give Burberry London Dream 5 out of 5 stars, hands down. You have to try this!

Received this as a free sample. I like it, but I don't love it. It's different from the very sweet scents I usually wear & is nostalgic, after a few hrs it begins to smell like my grandmother's perfume tray when I was a child but that's definitely not a negative. Lasting power is good, I sprayed inside my elbows around 8 pm & could still smell it faintly the next morning. Not sure I like it enough to purchase myself but it is very nice.

When I first smelled this perfume at the counter, at Macy’s, I obsoletely loved it. It smell so sweet but fruity too. I loved it so much I decided I wouldn’t even wait to purchase it. I would normally spray some on my wrist and walk the mall to see if I really like it. But this smell so good I knew. So I bought the large bottle at $119 because that’s all they had in stock, and ordered a roller ball too for travel. I wore it if for a few weeks before I started to notice a shift in fragrance. My husband said it suddenly smelled like chemicals and asked me to stop wearing it. Soon after I receive the roller ball and it smelled amazing for about two weeks and then again it did the same. Smelled terrible. I have to saw I am disappointed for the price.

Elegant

Burberry is known for sweet perfumes, and when I saw that this perfume contained citrus I didn’t hesitate to purchase. I wanted it to be a fresher version of Burberry perfumes, but alas, It’s not what I expected; it’s Burberry after all. It still has sweet notes, but it doesn’t overwhelm and give me a headache. It’s light sweet, yet modern and elegant smell. I guess the citrus notes balances out and makes the perfume a bit airy. I like it. Doesn’t give me a headache, or nausea. A keeper for everyday all year round.

Interesting scent combination but poor performance

A soft lemon with ginger gives Burberry London Dream almost a lemon tea scent as a top scent but then as the lemon stops being as overpowering, the floral peony also comes out to play and gives this a more feminine appeal. The opening with the ginger is a soft almost gender neutral but pleasant fresh scent. Within about 2 minutes the ginger fades to the background and a very light citrus mixes with a tiny bit of floral peony, but it is almost powder soft with a hint of amber. The sillage is poor. I asked someone if she could smell anything about 10 minutes after I put it on and standing next to me she didn’t notice anything. Instead of a bright floral mandarin scent, this is a softer scent with lemon lasting the longest, but ginger mixing with the floral gives it a very light but spicy floral underneath the lemon.I actually liked this scent but I wish it was had greater sillage and longevity. It’s not going to replace any of my favorites but compared to all the run of the mill floral citrus scents, this has an oriental aspect with ginger, which is an enjoyable note I see more in unisex perfumes. One of my favorites

I love this so much I bought the biggest bottle when I ran out of the standard size. It's great for spring/summer, though I do wear it year round. The citrus balances the floral and therefore doesn't smell like a grandma. There's a hint of sweetness that almost smells like honey. The musk ties everything together. Light and fresh. Works really well with my body chemistry.

It's beautifully balanced and in a clean minimalist bottle, as you'd expect from such a classic company. I still wear it but apply it with a heavier hand than I do with most perfumes, to try to keep it a little noticeable as the day goes on, but it is disappointing to spend this much when drugstore perfumes last much longer and cost 1/3 the price. I recommend it if, like me, you've fallen in love with the scent, but go in knowing, like most dreams, it ends far too quickly.

Would recommend to sensitive perfume users

Smelled this in the store after smelling 20 perfumes before it, not the best choice. Didn't even spray it on my skin and walk around I just bought it on a whim bc my friend and I thought it smelled like bubblegum...it doesn't lol. It's a light powdery clean scent that's got a little bit of sexiness. Biggest con is the lasting power, I get maybe 3 hours with this. I prefer Burberry her the original, it lasts a little longer about 5 hours and has a more addictive quality about it, this one's definitely similar but missing the girl fruity notes so to me it's just more basic :/

beautiful but not long lasting

An absolutely beautiful and feminine fragrance. I get compliments on it all the time. It the epitome of soft and delicate. My biggest issue is that it doesn’t last on my skin past 20 minutes. The way I found to make it work was to slather my self in unscented lotion and apply the perfume. It helps with the longevity. I find by doing this it last a few hours. It’s not the type of perfume that people smell on you when you walk into a room. It’s very intimate. It’s only noticeable when you’re hugged or up-close and personal. It’s definitely a floral but not overbearing or in your face. I think the bottle represent the feel of the scent perfectly
