Burgon & Ball RHS Flora and Fauna Garden Trowel & Secateurs
The gift set consists of a hand trowel and a garden shear, both of proven quality from Burgon & Ball. The hand trowel is engraved with the quote "The love of gardening is a seed once sown, that never dies" and features a handle made of ash wood sourced from sustainable forestry. The garden shear is compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry at all times, even when no specific cutting task is planned. Its total length is just 17 cm, with a weight of less than 150 grams. The blades are made from highstrength carbon steel, ensuring lasting sharpness. The upper blade has a notch for cutting and pulling garden wire, for example, when working with trellises. The handles, made from a lightweight metal alloy, are coated with a nonslip finish. The sap groove on the back of the lower blade prevents the blades from sticking together.

This is a very attractive and sturdy looking set of tools, bought as a gift. When I received the first set I noticed a few scratch marks on the back of the trowel and contacted customer services. They were brilliant and asked for it to be returned for inspection, then replaced the set very quickly, assuring me that they expect this product to be of good quality. I am delighted with the outcome.

This was a gift for a friend!! It was a late Christmas order and I really didn’t think that it would arrive prior to Christmas. It was posted and delivered in 2 days. I was updated and kept in contact from processing the order. Thank you to Botanex for exceptional service and communication. Certainly made ordering online from Singapore easy. Greatly appreciated.
