Received this as a gift, from my baby shower. It worked alright. Normally I adore this brand of products! But I have other baby lotions that hydrate better for his skin, and seem to keep him moisturized longer, than this one does. This is still a decent baby lotion though. It is gentle on his skin, smell is good, their line is affordable...so many pluses to it. It just isn't our favorite kind of baby lotion to use. Don't reach for it as often as we do some others. It didn't seem to hydrate his skin for very long. Would have to reapply it often, bc his skin tends to get dry, especially in colder months. And not my favorite type of bottle design. But decent lotion, all in all. 4 stars.

Love using this on my kids after bath/shower. My little one I use on them to help keep skin soft and smooth. And my oldest still use this to this very day. This product melts in the skin. It's not oily. And it has a very pleasant smell that stays on for a long time.

My daughter loves this stuff. I might add that I agree completely. It smells lovely and it’s so soft and creamy. It melts right into baby’s skin. He smells so sweet and he’s so snuggly after his bath and this calming lotion. He has never gotten skin irritation from this, so I know it’s gentle. It seems to help him relax as well. The price is a little on the higher end, but most of Burts bee products are. I would recommend this lotion. I believe she got it as a gift.

I love the Burt's Bees Baby line! Since my child was born, I made the decision to go natural so I know what's going onto my baby's largest organ, her skin. I have always preferred how Burt's Bees products perform. So much so, that even us adults use the baby line! As for this lotion, my toddler has normal skin thankfully and we never really needed for lotion until recently (more trips out means more baths at home which means drier skin!) When her skin is a little dry, applying this lotion after a bath takes care of it! I also have very dry skin and it tends to work really well on my body. It is relatively light to the more concentrated creams I've used in the past, blends well and takes care of dry patches for my child. I love the natural and calming smell of the lavender but I found that the lotion was very thick and never really absorbed all that well. This could be due to the area that I live in and the constant humidity. I bought this to use on my daughter at night and it made her sweat a lot, leading to her waking up a lot in the middle of the night trying to cool off. Again, this is probably because of where we live. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this product for my geographical area because it makes you feel sticky ( I even tried it on myself to see if it would be any different) I am bummed! This lotion is fantastic!! I use it almost every night to help moisturize my son's skin and help ease him to sleep. My son has very sensitive skin that's prone to eczema and rashes, especially during the warmer months. So I am very selective about what I use on his skin. I love that it is pediatrician tested and it's made with almost 99% all natural ingredients that contains no phthalates, parabens or petrolatum. The lavender and vanilla works well at calming him at bedtime, while the shea butter softens and moisturizes his skin. It's also important to me that they don't test on animals. I would definitely recommend this lotion to any mother to use at bedtime for her young child with normal or sensitive skin.

I live how relaxing and soothing this lotion is. Not just for the baby but for you too. My baby has sensitive skin which turns red quickly if it's too hot outside or if a cloth is rubbed against his skin. This lotion calms his skin instantly. It takes away the dryness without the greasy residue. It smells so nice and beautiful the moment you out it on but the smell is not long lasting and decipates quickly. Overall, a great lotion for sensitive skin.

Compared to other brands, at first look it seems as though it is expensive but that is not true, in comparison to other lotions for sensitive skin (not just baby lotion) and lotions of the same size the price is very resonable. The fact that Burts Bees is already a natural product is a very big plus and they seem to take extra care and caution in their baby line. Both of my kids love how this lotion applies and absorbs into their skin without leaving behind any filmy, greasy, powdery residue-and how its not a cheap watery lotion that ends up actually drying their skin out.
