Burt's Bees Baby Bee Multipurpose Ointment 7.5 oz.

Burt's Bees is a wonderful brand and this product wouldn't be their exception. I mean, their original formula. There's something a little "off" about this product lately, but my opinion will be given on the many years of success I had with this product before the change. Petrolatum free. This already makes this product a great option if you're looking for a less aggressive product to your child's skin. I find this to be very useful for a mild case of eczema or dry elbows and knees. I even use this own my elbows from time to time. This also works great in beginning stage of a rash/redness. You can also use a thin layer of this product to prevent the dryness and irritation. I’ve been using this on toddler since everyday since they were a little baby. A must have for face and body. The formula has changed over the years but it’s still just as good as it was before and I’ve stayed loyal to this brand due to the value. You get a good amount for the cost. This ointment smells great and it keeps my very busy toddler free of scratches and scraps at daycare as well. I lather him up after a warm bath and lather up his arms, legs, knees and face every morning to ensure he doesn’t get any cuts and scrapes throughout the day. I will definitely buy again as 8 have been.

Better Products Out There

I really wanted to love this product but it didn’t grow on me. I purchased it for my daughter’s Eczema but it didn’t work well for us. It took days longer to see results compared to other balms we have used. And we had to reapply it basically all day to keep her skin from drying out. It leaves a really greasy residue as well. I like how much product you get for the price and it smells amazing. Those were the only positives for us. I wouldn’t purchase again unless I needed something fast since it’s easily available. Era Organics Superbalm is way superior for Eczema if that’s what you are looking to purchase this for.

Better than prescription ointment!

WE LOVE THIS STUFF. My baby had a HORRIBLE rash on her bottom from her crack to the front. We had been good about changing her butt and putting diaper rash cream on it but it just wasn’t helping and it began to hurt her when I’d have to wipe her bottom. We got a prescription from the doctor that was $200 (we have insurance thought so $10) a lot of people don’t have insurance or the money for that but we had this and I decided to try it cause the prescription cream ran out and it was still pretty bad. We put globs of it on her bottom and left it over night because she sleeps through the night now and this morning we changed her and her bottom was hardly red. Only a little pink. Cant live without it!

I never write reviews but after I've seen how many amazing uses this has I had to share. it has healed so many things from severe cradle cap and eczema for my baby, horrible cracked heels and dry skin, deep moisturizer for my face before bed, healed split cuticles, and I've noticed my eyelashes and eyebrows have gotten longer and thicker thanks to the castor oil in this. and it has an excellent review on the yuka app. high quality product I even take it with me to use as chapstick I have one in our diaper bag one in my makeup drawer and one in my car. love it so much! 1000/10

Everyone wants the old formula!

5 stars On the ORIGINAL formula but everyone who knows, this new formula is terrible. I am certain its making a large customer base reconsider Burt’s Bees and affecting your reputation. I know it is for me and my growing family. I’ve used your product for over 15 years and now my own growing family but I’m not sure anymore…Please send out a statement that the original formula will be available soon. Otherwise your customer base is going to go elsewhere.This cheap/new formal smells awful and staines everything it touches, let alone it’s in not affective. Not even remotely similar to the original ointment

So frustrating to discover that the formula has changed! I actually emailed Burts Bees a couple months back asking if the formula had changed because this one is just not the same and the response I got was terrible, no information whatsoever, no confirmation that it had changed, just an email from an agent telling me they could “see some ointment was available on the website” ?!!! Lol. The new formula just does NOT hit the same. It doesn’t smell even remotely similar to the original (which was to die for) and it doesn’t seem to give the same results on my bubs skin. Can’t tell you how disappointed we are, we’ve got baby number 2 on the way and it sucks that we won’t be able to get the original ointment for them either. Why change it? One happy baby!

My baby has been struggling with eczema for months to the point it was from head to toes. I tried so many creams multiple times a day (at the drs advisement) and nothing worked. Some even made it worse and he would cry when we put them on him. I found this and out of desperation bought it. Just using it one time I could see it made a difference in his skin. He also loves when I put it on.. its greasy for sure so I bought a large makeup brush to apply it. The paint brush makes him laugh when applying so its a win win. Its been less then a week and I only apply once in the morning and there is huge difference!!! Just super happy to have his sweet soft skin back!

PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!!!

Yes, this stuff lasts a long time because a little goes a long way. With that in mind I have been using this product for 8 years, and when I purchase I purchase 2 at a time. I recently ran out about 1 month ago, went to place a new order only to find out the label was different; thinking oh they just changed the label. To my surprise, once I opened it to find out that the ointment is NOT the same!!! I was devastated! The new formula is not new and improved, it’s less rich and smells terrible. The old formula’s moisture lasted for my baby for at least 12 or more hours. The new one has to be reapplied after 3 hours. The consistency for the new one is too smooth.
