Best product for sensitive skin

You need to know that this product won't work by itself (or it will take a very long time) especially with years old dark spotsMy skin routine was:AM1. Vegan micellar water2. Pacifica baby glow face wash3. Burt bees dark spot corrector4. Pacifica baby glow face lotion5. Vegan sunscreen SPF 45PM1. Vegan acne treatment (2% salicylic acid)2.burt bees refining cleanser3. Burt bees dark spot corrector4. Pacifica baby glow face lotionU started noticing a big difference on my face after the second bottle. There was no big change when I used the first bottle, so I decided to increase bakuchiol concentration with BYBI bakuchiol booster (from target as well) with my 4th bottle. And now my skin is smoother and 95% of my dark spots done, I'm so happy about it!My increase of bakuchiol was, using the treatment by itself the first week, add 4 full dropper of BYBI and use the treatment until it is half-full, then add 4 more full dropper of BYBI.The good side of the new mixture is it worked faster and it was burning my skin. The bag side is I would breakout if I go out without my sunscreen, so it was important to include an acne treatment as well.My advice to those with the same issue as me is to use bakuchiol booster with your second bottle, have a good moisturizer with vitamin c, always wear sunscreen and use an acne treatment if you forget to put your sunscreen that day.As for me, it took 5 bottles, 6 months and a consistent routine to get the results I have (I'm sorry but I don't have the before and after pictures).I hope the product will work for you as it did for me but remember this: patience is very important when using this product.

Tried Burt bees spot corrector and after only two weeks, voila sun spots are gone. It worked splendidly, miraculously for me. While others may have a different experience, everyone’s body, skin , is different. Again, worked for me. Am limiting time in the sun now.

I used this product on some dark spots that I have on my hands, arms, and shoulders. After using it twice a day for about two weeks, I didn't really see much change. The dark spots may have gotten slightly lighter but not enough to tell for sure. If I had used the product for a month or two, it might have made a difference but it's hard to say. I was using it on a fairly large area, so I used up most of the bottle in only two weeks. I did not use this on my face at all, because I have been using another serum for long enough that I don't have any spots that would benefit from trying this on my facial skin. I have very acne prone skin and am quite picky as to what I use on it. I am uncertain how this product would agree with my acneic skin, since I did not use it in ... MoreI used this product on some dark spots that I have on my hands, arms, and shoulders. I am uncertain how this product would agree with my acneic skin, since I did not use it in that area. The serum has a light scent that disappears quite quickly, so it's not noticeable after it dries. I'm not sure I like a serum that is more like a lotion with a creamy color and texture. Personally, I prefer liquid or gel types of serums more.I wasn't terribly fond of the packaging, either. I would think a vitamin C type of serum would be better in a dark bottle rather than a clear one. It has an interesting eye dropper dispenser built into the lid. It looks very nice but I found the button on the top to be a bit awkward to use and control. I dropped the lid a few times trying to dispense the product from the dropper. I also didn't think that the dropper actually worked very well. This might be better with a pump rather than a dropper type of dispenser.Overall, I wasn't terrible impressed and probably would not go out of my way to buy this product.

Effective

This product is effective in correcting dark spots or hyperpigmentation - the best that I had tried by far. It has powerful ingredients that work deeply in the skin that you can see the results after just a fewdays. I like its mild scent that is gentle on my skin. Sad that it’s discontinued now. I hope to buy more.

I love the renewal line
26 February 2023

I started using Burt’s Bees renewal line two weeks ago. I use almost the entire line: the night cream, serum, day lotion with SPF, and eye cream. I use a cleanser and a toner from another aloe-based natural brand, and a couple of drops of Bio Oil under it all as the first step after I cleanse and tone. I have to say I am so happy. My skin looks so clear and supple. I am 33 with combination and breakout prone skin, but none of these products broke me out at all. I waited two weeks to write the review for others who experience breakouts from products because that is usually the timeframe for a breakout to occur for me from a new product. This renewal line actually quickly cleared a hormonal breakthrough I was going through when I started it. The fine lines on my skin that appeared from the dry weather and wrong skincare products I was using are literally gone. I was also worried about the night cream because it contains soybean oil, which in high rates is highly comedogenic, but it is not one of the main ingredients and has done nothing but wonders for my skin. I think the night cream is actually my favorite. Amazing consistency and melts into my skin and when I wash my face in the morning it is really firm and soft. What I appreciate most is that Burt’s Bees is cruelty free and natural. I also use Burt’s Bees oatmeal dog shampoo for my dogs.

It works and feels amazing as an overnight cream.
20 November 2022

I started snorkeling this summer, and though Caucasian, I get very tan super fast. I used no sunblock. Around my eyes, I got very spotty, which shocked me a little. At Walmart, I noticed this product and figured “why not?” It smells good and feels amazing. I kept using the product because it feels really good. After about a month, I noticed there were only two spots left around my eyes, and even they had faded about 80%. I absolutely love this product both because it works, but, honestly, I use it as an overnight cream because it makes my face feel and look so good.

Not sure yet
24 August 2022

Packaging - Okay although I prefer the convenience of a pump rather than a dropper.Consistency of the liquid - little on the watery side. It's not too oily on my face provided you just put a thin film. Once I place too much, I found it oily.Scent - very mild.Blemish correction - Not sure. It lighten my freckles but it did not erase my freckles.I'm still thinking if I will buy a 2nd bottle. It's not a fail, but it's not 100% success. More on 60-40%. Sixty for a 2nd bottle. 40% to try other brands.

This stuff actually works
17 November 2023

I love the Burt products. For the cost (very reasonable) I thought I'd give this a try. It really does fade the age spots. Like anything you need to keep using it to continue seeing results. I was very impressed. I have very sensitive skin and I had no reaction at all. This is my 2nd bottle and I will keep using it as long as they sell it!! 10 out of 10.

4 February 2022

During my pregnancy with my 2nd child I started to have a dark upper lip. Thought it would go away after delivery. Nope i was wrong. So being super self conscious of it i started looking for products to try. I usually use dermalogica face products but its more money then I wanted to spend right now. Ive used other burts bees products and have LOVED them lip balm, lotions. But unfortunately this product hasn't done much for lighting my dark area. Im going to keep using it to give it an honest go. But im 3/4 way through the bottle and nothing yet.

Working Slowly, But Surely

I didn't expect this to work, I've never tried vitamin C on my face due to trying actual at home remedies with lemon and lime that burned when I was younger. I expected this irritate me. And due to the nature of my skin around my mouth which is sensitive there are days it does irritate me. But it works, after several weeks I notice improvement with texture and tone of my skin. The darkness around my mouth is a bit lighter, and less noticeable, I only use it around my mouth area when its not irritated or dry.
