Burt's Bees Lip Shine - Blush

I wanted to like this truly! I was excited about the color and I’m a long time fan of this brand’s chapstick (you know the one). Sadly this lip shine doesn’t last long! It’s difficult to describe. The color I purchased was dark plum (smooch) and it didn’t tint my lips. It’s almost made my lips look temporarily bruised (but shiny). After about 10 minutes the gloss dissolved into a thin layer of moisture on my lips. Overall it’s not a terrible product especially for hands free application. If you want color, this won’t do much. Tasted great 👅

I love Burt Bees lip products, so whenever I spot something new I usually try it out. Of course it’s ingredients are 100% of natural origin. It comes in 6 shades and I got the shade Pucker, which is more of red/burgundy color. It has a nice shiny finish, it’s not heavy or sticky and feels hydrating. It has Apricot Wax Sunflower Seed oil to nourish your lips and give you that she natural glossy color. Definitely going to check out the other shades! 💋

This gloss gave me just enough shine to lips. My lips felt so much more hydrated and soft after applying this product. The only reason I have it four stars was that I wish the shade was more pigmented but other than that this is perfect for my dry lips. This is possibly my favourite tinted lip shine. It’s glossy with just enough tint for me. Doesn’t feel sticky and leaves the lips feeling really moisturized. A perfect everyday lip wear that won’t make your lips sore!

This is a pretty gloss! I'd been given "whisper" years ago as a young teen and enjoyed the formula a lot so I figured I'd give it a go again as an adult. I picked "smooch" looking for a cool toned plum. This worked pretty well with my cool muted skintone and purply light lips. Because of the darkness of this color, it adds a bit of mutedness I was looking for. I think it's cool boarding neutral in tone... just be careful with a darker sheer lipgloss like this since splotches will show up on dry lips. Overall, I do find it moisturizing without being oily or sticky and the sheerness makes it wearable for lighter skintones who don't want a super dark plum lip.

I love Burt's Bees lip gloss. I've been using this particular gloss for over 5 years and I haven't even bothered trying another kind in that time. It's extremely moisturizing, yet it's not goopy or sticky. (I'm an anti-sticky freak and have high requirements in that area. lol) It's easy to apply, ergonomically correct and you can easily control how much gloss comes from the tube. I've tried multiple colors and I like all of them really. Just the subtle touch to brighten up the face that a women needs without going overboard. Highly recommended!

I really like this lip gloss because it moisturizes the lips with a tint of color minus the harsh chemicals. In the past 4 years my allergies have worsened over time and I was having terrible allergic reactions to almost every cosmetic lip product, unless it was organically made (& I'm a makeup artist so that really sucked for me). With most brands, I used to put on just enough gloss to moisturize my lips in fear of them blackening and peeling after a few days. With this brand I can honestly say I don't have any reactions, it feels good, tastes good, and it's nice to be able to pile it on with no fear. I would've rated 5 stars if it came in brighter, or longer lasting colors. Great product Burt's Bees (:

Love it! Very silky. Only takes a little bit. "Whisper" is the lightest shade they make. It has a touch of pink. Anything darker looks like lipstick. After seeing this on guys in clothing ads and bodybuilder mags I tried it. Have had nothing but compliments from the ladies on how soft my lips look. To be clear, I have almost black hair, a stubble beard, blue eyes and naturally light pink lips (sunscreen lip balm most of the time) but this lip balm (shine) seems to work well for me when I'm out on the town OR at Gold's. Worth a try, right?
