I'm a total beginner, so my review is not be based on much knowledge.First, I was a bit surprised by the plastic used on these, I thought they were going to break with the first try. But I trusted the brand and that was one of the reasons I went with these bindings.Even as a beginner, they were easy to instal with some youtube research. I was very surprised to see how comfortable I was on the snow with the way I installed them!Oh, and the color fits my board beautifully.

Bindings are too small and not very adjustable on the board

While this is a good quality binding, it's not very adjustable. It uses a plate with 6-8 holes and you're not able to move the binding back, so my boot was sticking out over the board. Unfortunately I installed it and didn't keep the box, so I don't think I can return it anymore. Wish I could exchange it for a larger size. I"m a size 8.5 women's boot and bought the medium since my size is borderline between M and L size. Opt for the bigger size because it's not very adjustable to position on the board.

The color is so cute!!! It's between a lavender and pink. It matches the Burton Stylus board perfectly. It's easy to adjust the straps and high backs. I don't feel like there's a binding when I'm riding because I can control the board so easily. I wear a size 9 boots and got the large bindings.

Easy installation

Got these for my Burton talent scout board, first time installing bindings and was able to figure it out I’m not too much time. Haven’t gotten the chance to use them yet, but they seem like they’ll be the perfect stiffness and are great quality. Also love the color!

Easy to Use

They are easy to apply to the Burton board as long as you have any old screwdriver. Straps are super easy to tighten over shoes. I like how you can tighten the top and bottom part separately so you can adjust depending on your preferences.

Faulty Straps
2 October 2019

Bought these bindings and used them last season, I'd say I went snowboarding maybe 20 times total. I bought these to start out as this was my first season snowboarding and they had really good reviews. All in all they got the job done but they were really unreliable. My first day using them my left toe strap would not stay tightened and eventually when trying to strap in I wasn't able to crank them on, the strap just wouldn't catch, my only option was to just push the strap through as far as I could and every now and again if I cranked them on very slowly I was able to get them a little tighter. It made for really slow starts and was frustrating. I also found that by the time I finished my run the toe strap would be completely loose and occasionally the ankle straps ... MoreBought these bindings and used them last season, I'd say I went snowboarding maybe 20 times total. But, I'll be upgrading my bindings for the 2019/2020 season so it kinda sucks they only were good for one year.

Great beginner bindings
20 June 2023

This is the first bindings I purchased and it was relatively easy to set up on my board. It also has a soft flex rating and felt forgiving for a beginner like me. The bindings felt better than the rentals I've tried previously. The only issue I had was with the adjustment for the forward lean where when I maxed it out, the lock creased the material around it. So I don't think it's ideal to max it out. Also, I just wish they came in other different colors.

Great quality for a bargain
30 January 2023

Awesome bindings for the newer rider that wants quality without paying an arm. Burton always delivers, and these bindings keep that tradition. The flex is super forgiving on rough terrain and hard landings, absorbing some impact to keep your legs happy. Adjustability is wide open and makes sure you get a firm and comfortable bind no matter the boots. Tool-less buckle position swapping with foldout screw shields, and tool-less baseplate removal to get to the mounting screws made these super easy to get ready for first ride & later adjustment.

Seem low-quality
8 October 2023

These Burton Citizen bindings were well reviewed, so I ordered them, but after examining them when they arrived, they seem low-quality. The entire bottom is a foam-like substance, and some of the plastic pieces pop off and pop back on for adjustment, which seem very prone to breaking. I ordered a medium for a burton size 7.5 women's boot, and the binding seemed almost too small, with no adjustment option to pull the binding bottom further out.

Very secure!
22 March 2021

I've taken them out twice now. So far they've been great! Holds you into place and feels secure. I like that the straps don't get in the way when getting off the lift. The only thing I will say is the heelcup is narrow for the 2 different pairs of boots I've tried in it. I'm new to snowboarding, so there might be a reason for that. It is secure, but getting out of them I have to hold the highback with one hand because it's tough to wiggle them out. Other than that, love the product & definitely worth the purchase!
