Bvlgari Man Glacial Essence - 60ml Eau De Parfum Spray

To me this smells old school and more on the mature side, but a bit fresher than the typical fragrance in that category. Nothing mindblowing or particularly special - overall it's fairly generic. But it's perfectly fine as a safe scent to wear in a variety of scenarios. After reading this reviewer's description, I can totally see this: "Smells like a less sweet and very diluted version of YSL Y EDP."

Got my nose on the new Bvlgari Man Glacial Essence the other day. I really liked it! It's not ground breaking but it's still a nice fragrance! I really enjoyed the opening more. It starts off very fresh and clean with that Juniper and ginger right off the top. As it dries down I got some of the geranium followed by the woody notes and musk. To me this works well on very hot summer days for sure! Now since the end of summer is just around the corner I'm definitely going to wait till next spring to purchase it. By then it will be available at discounters. I don't think it's worth retail IMO. Performance is pretty decent. All rounder scent

If I say that it's the rounder scent it be will not wrong. It's such an amazing, subtle, balanced fragrance that is neither overpowering nor overwhelming but has a special spell that distinguishes it from other Bulgari scents. Its perfectly masculine scent with a mixture of woody, floral and citrus notes, which makes me feel so pleasant and refreshing. It's more on the warm side with the musky touch. I receive so many compliments from my wife regarding this wonderful scent.

Generic, disappointing

Ive not tried any fragrance before from BVLGARI, so I was really looking forward to trying Glacial Essence by the brand. Being a perfume rather than a EDT, I expected much more punch with the scent. Unfortunately it is just a very generic, mild male fragrance. Im not saying it is a bad scent, it is actually very nice, it is a light, summery fragrance, with hints of a fresh breeze. Unfortunately what I dont get come through is the intensity ion the sandalwood or cederwood; these are 2 of my favourite scents when hunting out a new parfum, you really expect an intensity and longevity that you really dont get with this fragrance. Long lasting and smells insane!

I have a very large aftershave collection and different scents for different occasions. Haven't tried this brand before so was looking forward to it. The bottle is appealing and I liked the clear coloured scent with the contacting packaging. The scent smells incredible. It's a strong scent but very clean smelling. It reminds me of a very clear sea on a summers day, very distinct but really appealing. It stayed on all day whilst working and came home to my wife asking what it was that I was wearing. She loved it! Also lasted all afternoon and late into the night on a date night. Not many aftershaves will stay on your clothing all night like you have freshly reapplied it. Definitely will be purchasing this next.

The name 'Glacial Essence' sounds so cool and mysterious that I just had to try it. It straight away conjures images of a fresh icy scent and this is exactly what I got. I set about putting it to the test by having a couple of squirts (only a couple. I didnt baste in it to make it a fair test) before I went to the gym to see if anyone noticed, and sure enough, one of my gym buddies commented 'you smell nice, have you got aftershave on?' test passed lol. What's the point of wearing a really nice aftershave if no one can smell it right?
