I don’t like the cardboard feel of the kraft-Tex. It doesn’t wash well or iron well and that was recommended before use. The pattern is definitely written for an advanced seamstess and requires many additional materials. I’m still going to try and get thru the pattern when i purchase the additional supplies, but I definitely wasted my money on this one

I was skeptical about what I would get for the price but WOW, I received great quality Kraft Tex just as promised. This product is easy to sew, paint, wood burn, just about anything you would do on paper, fabric or leather. This is a very durable surface & fun to work with.

I'm not impressed.. It does everything it says it does (thus the three stars) but it really looks and feels like cardboard, even after distressing it. I was hoping it would look and feel more like leather as the pictures on their website show. I'm sure I'll eventually use it all, but it really was suitable for the project I intended and so I had to go out and get real leather and tools to redo the project. :/

I use this product as a stabilizer inside of handmade wallets and it works really well. It provides great stability, flexibility and holds up nicely.
This is amazing stuff! I used it mainly for book covers for my art books and sewing needle books. It's very strong material as it glues well and it sews up great! Highly recommend!
First time user but it is a good addition to my journal coverings. Can be embossed, painted and is sturdy. A product that I will use frequently in the future to add a different texture to my journals.
Wasn't real sure about using this product. Pattern called for it. Was exactly as advertised and was great in the project. Will be using again. Just found out I can print on it and make labels w/my logo. Good price.
This paper is amazing in what it allows one to do with it. My preferred treatment is to either marble it with acrylic paints or treat it with kakishibu, a Japanese dye made from persimmons. With the latter treatment it winds up with a very leathery texture. I use both to create book covers for my handbound works.
I use Kraft-Tex for binding books and journals. It's easy to work with and is one of the most versatile fibers I've ever worked with.
This gives great structure to wallets. Easy to work with! Want to try making labels with it next.
