Kids love them Good value My only moan is the daft new bags used on deliveries. Absolutely rubbish Change them back again. The drivers hate them and we as your customers hate them Sooooo difficult to lift, carry, cause damage to the food and useless. Change that and its 5 stars

... during my very energetic gym classes when I feel a sugar dip comming on. I usually buy Twirl bars but a couple of weeks ago the picker substituted the solid chocolate bars in the 4 pack. I then looked and found this 6 pack. These will be even better ... individually wrapped they keep hygienic in kit bag just enough for one shot so no half bar open and messy in bag for next time solid chocolate means no bits crumbling everywhere. The gym session carries on so I need to grab n go and they are easy to pop in and eat quickly ... the thicker bars need several bites and some chewing between. These are perfect for my needs but also would be ideal for small children, just the right size for a wee treat and easy to fit in Grandmas handbag.

Ocado kindly gave me a sample of this product to review. It is absolutely years since I last tasted these! They were nice and chocolatey with a satisfying crunch, but there didn't seem to be that many in the packet compared to my memories. They are a little over-sweet for me now, but I'm sure children will love them just as much as I used to.

These have deteriorated since the American Kraft took over Cadburys. The chocolate coating is really thin now and the chocolate is inferior. I used to be able to bite off the chocolate and strip it down to the finger. The biscuit itself is thinner and the taste is different. I know things change but this is definitely for the worse. Not at all Waitrose's fault. I occasionally buy them, more out of nostalgia than anything else.
Had these to review and as I remembered them from my childhood I thought I would have a trip down memory lane! Found them disappointing as like other reviewers have mentioned the fingers are smaller with only a thin layer of chocolate and the biscuit not much better. In the past the biscuit always seemed to taste more like shortbread but now a cheap and almost salty taste. Sadly I won?t be buying them.
I am reviewing these because I was sent a free sample from Ocado. When you open the box there are fewer fingers than you expect and they seem smaller than they should be. The chocolate is very thin and the main tase is that of salty biscuits. All rather disappointing. They are a good price though.
The fingers are nicely balanced. The chocolate is not too sweet. The biscuit is crunchy without being dry. The portions are small, so it's easy to indulge in a little treat without excess! And the product is very affordable.
It's reassuring to see Cadbury continuing it's innovative approach to making much-loved products. Cheaper ingredients, smaller and smaller portions, same sized packaging and price. And while there's a convenient new excuse every year (covid, brexit, the weather), you can be sure of it continuing. Currently, while the portion size may be small, these things are still tasty. They haven't resorted to changing the recipe. Yet. Not that you'd notice anyway. And maybe they won't? So I look forward to one day opening a packet of Cadbury Chocolate Fingers to find just two fingers nestling in the plastic package! Keep it up, Cadbury! You be you! It's what we expect from you.
These are a fab little treat for young and old. The wife ate the majority of them, the kids enjoyed their taster and I wish we had got a larger box. You get all the deliciousness of cadburys chocolate woth that added crunch of the biscuit finger. These will def appear in our basket again soon. We enjoyed these as part of an offer.
I only added these to my shop to enter the competition, thought i'd only eat a couple as not a lover of choc biscuits and not had fingers for years they are usually a christmas treat. However i had two then two more, then two more. A thin delicate biscuit finger in delicious milk chocolate with real orange oil was too much to resist. I do think far too much plastic is used though, ridiculous even if it is recyclable it's a massive issue
