First of all I would like to say that I own all of the 3 major FPS series on Wii; Goldeneye, Conduit, and Cod. And MW3 EASILY is the best option. I will list below the features it has, and the other wii FPS games that have them.Voice chat: MW3 and Conduit has voice chat, except Modern warfare's is much better.Gun customization. MW3 easily wins this category also. Mw3 allows the player to put 2 attachments on the primary weapon, a proficiency (improves statistics), and also a pre-made camouflage. You can also change the shape of the red dot if you use a red dot sight. Goldeneye allows 1 attachment on a weapon, and Conduit doesnt allow any.LOBBY SIZE: This is one category that Mw3 loses. Both Conduit and Goldeneye will tell you what number killstreak you are on, but you will never earn rewards besides XP for it.Game types: Mw3 destroys the competition in this. First of all many more people play mw3 so you will find more games, and it also has so many game types. goldeneye and conduit only have 7-8 game types approximately.Survival: Goldeneye has no "survival mode", however conduit 2 and mw3 do. Mw3's is endless (play till you die), and conduit's goes up to wave 20 (I think). besides this difference the two are extremely sim.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 performs well in comparison with out fps games recently released and really you can't go wrong buying it as long as you know what to expect. If you have ever played any of the other Call of Duty series, particularly the previous Modern Warfares, you know already know what you are getting. A solid First person shooter with enough entertaining maps in multiplayer to keep yourself entertained for hours. I am a very casual gamer and still have not had a chance to play the campaign and therefore cannot comment on how that stacks up to the others in the series. That said, the multiplayer is great when you get home from work and just want to blow off some steam. The maps are in some ways repetitive if you've played played cod in the past, but ... Battlefield fans might not like this game mostly because of the huge difference in map size(Battlefield being huge, cod not so much) and it's difficult for me to go back and forth playing the two because of differences in the controls. All this said, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is a solid entry in the Call of Duty line, and to be honest, most people considering this have already seen what cod has to offer. Each level takes you to a different part of the world, wielding a new kind of weapon, riding a new kind of vehicle... as acting as a new character! And the action is EPIC. Even now, in the summer of 2016, this game feels like I'm playing a current hollywood blockbuster movie trilogy all in a single game. You're dropped off in New York City where you witness buildings crashing down on you. You're on the streets and in the buildings and on the rooftops. Later you're under water riding an underwater jet sk.

This is really 3.5 stars, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt.I don't play the online multiplayer mode, so if you're like me and want the game to stand on its own, it does deliver in some respects.I initially played the campaign and some of the survival maps but that really didn't do anything for me. It's a decent game, but MW2 it's definitely not. The Spec Ops in MW2 were awesome and I was hoping that they'd recaptured that same type of gameplay in MW3.Turns out the global missions are similar. They're definitely not as creative or fun as the Spec Ops from MW2, but they are fun nonetheless. I've recently gone back and played some of the Spec Ops from MW2 to give myself a refresher and then tried MW3 again. While MW2 really stands out as a much better game, I did ... While MW2 really stands out as a much better game, I did have fun playing MW3 and I'm continuing to play the global missions to complete all on veteran. So, while the campaign wasn't great and the survivor missions are somewhat fun, the global missions are really the only thing that makes the game worth buying... and if you can get it for a good price and are missing the action that MW2 had to offer, MW3 is worth a play.Oh, I also went back and tried Black Ops again... buying that game has to be the worst decision I ever made. There's nothing fun in the single player about that game and I couldn't even finish the campaign it was so bad.
Singleplayer: I found it stunning from the graphics to the actually story line. MW3 never gave you a break from gunfire, our heart strings. IT was as if they put together a movie and let you control the star. The controls were smooth and the Objective pure and simple. They created a life with MW and you followed it through straight to the end of MW3Multiplayer: It is nothing like its predecessors. New weapons to the way you actually draw the weapon has been redesigned. Their is no other feeling that can describe joy as when you pull out a sub machine gun and flip open the arm grip. Luckily I saved my air strike for just this occasion. In closing I found the game to be one of the most enjoyable I have played this year. I am quite sad however that it did seem like the closed the door at the end to any other possibilities of a sequel. But they did so with diginity and honor.Have fun, and keep gaming.
Judging by the reviews, you can tell how many people have preconceived notions about this game. And to be fair, they have those notions for somewhat valid reasons.Regardless, let me give a little background. I have been a call of duty fan since the original release on the PC back in 2003. My favorite game in the series is World at War.Lately we've all been disappointed with the accelerated release schedule; and how we always end up with a "clone" of previous game. There's no question that MW3 is indeed a clone of the previous releases, but you have to understand that the game is called Modern Warfare 3. At this point, we all should know what to expect. There's no sense in down-rating a game just because you think it's too similar to the last one. We all know that ... There's no sense in down-rating a game just because you think it's too similar to the last one. We all know that there will be a new COD release every year, this shouldn't be news to anyone.Overall, I really enjoyed the multiplayer. It's a solid shooter, and it's one of the most balanced releases to date. The controls are very smooth. The game is polished, and it shows. I normally dislike COD map design, but I have to say I was impressed with MW3 maps. Most maps are what I would describe as "medium sized", and there is far less CQC in MW3 than any of the other releases.Sadly, call of duty elite is a joke (at least for PS3). I would not recommend anyone to get it unless they have a very active clan.I didn't purchase MW3 for the single player, so I'm not fit to review that aspect.
MW3 is awesome, despite what other people say. My wife and I love the COD series and just recently bought this one. We played online together one night and loved it. It's easier for less experienced players to play, and that's why I love it(I have a beyond terrible time aiming). I love the weapon selection and the perks you start out with. The only reason I haven't mentioned the campaign is just because we just started playing it so I will most likely update or create another review about the campaign. My wife's song's dad played the survival mode with me and that was awesome and I'm glad he showed it to me. I definitely recommend this game to lovers of war and combat games. When Block Ops II comes out, we plan to get it and we will officially own every COD game for PS3.Now that we have two player online, I can say I'd rather play this game than Black Ops simply because in Black Ops, the second player does not get to keep their weapons. It goes back to the default and you have to redo everything, every time. In MW3, you keep everything, and you don't have to buy anything with points, you just simply unlock stuff. I really wish Black Ops did that, it would the playing so much more fun.
EDIT: I wanted to update the lag issue... Lag/Hit Detection is non-existent for me after countless patches. Great work from the developers. The haters of this game are hysterical. If you only read user "reviews" on game sites, retrolio or Metacritic, you would think this is the worst game available on this generation of consoles. Many of these people either bought the game and play it nonstop or never bought it in the first place (but if you have seen the sales numbers then you know MOST gamers bought this).Let me digress from the review even before I start it. For example, if you look at the all-time PS3 review scores on Metacritic, the 88 rating from the CRITICS makes MW3 tied for 51st (with such games as the original Uncharted, NHL 9, 10, & 11, Dead Space, ... I want you to see this listing of games I am talking about. There has never been as big of a disconnect between 100s of user reviews and 100s of critical (professional) reviews.DA2 got ripped because it took a fan favorite and "dumbed it down" by taking what made the original great and making it a mass market product. Madden and COD fall into the same trap - games that video game reject fanboys all over pounce on as "they.
