I know all games struggle with unforseen issues at launch but this year's offering from infinity ward has had no end of problems its a very poor show for them... the end of match progress updates have stopped working.. the showcase editor is not saving your changes.. it keeps randomly dashboarding me on xbox, can't speak for PS. And between matches the custom load outs keep randomly changing and then resting to what you made once the next match starts so you can't properly edit your load outs between matches. It's in bad shape and it seeeeeeriously needs a fix update and ASAP. Physical condition of the game was perfect. No transit damage, well packed and protected.

Pros: Scratches that Call of Duty itch like no other game has for years. The campaign is reasonably fun to play with some interesting missions. Multiplayer has a load of modes and an interesting weapon progression system. There aren't many maps, but what is there is more interesting than the usual 3 lane insta-death maps of recent years. Of course Warzone is there if that's your thing.Cons: There are a number of downsides:- campaign story is bad even by CoD standards- Battle Pass is here to stay- installs Warzone as the default game and you have to add any other modes you want to play (this also appears to be here to stay)- the UI is terrible and seems designed to funnel players into Warzone and buying the Battle Pass

PS5 bringing in backwards compatibility has brought new life to the gaming community. With the addition of older titles getting new life, the ability to play older platforms is amazing. My son has the PS5, I have the PS4, all of our group has a mix of PS5 and PS4, (about 12 people) and our ability to all join in a lobby is awesome. A good network connection ensures reduced or no lag, but the seamless operation and group talk feature keeps you in contact with the entire squad. This only comes with a PS4 disc with a code for the PS5 upgrade. I kinda wish it came with both platform discs, but the PS5 runs just fineWell worth the money

This game has the potential to be a decent CoD game, however, as of right now it is full of bugs. I would recommend waiting to see if they fix the many issues first before purchasing. I have yet to have a session where I'm not just randomly kicked from games. Oh and the user interface is hellish, good luck to everyone figuring it out.The actual game play (when it works) is really good, its a fun game. Graphically its very nice too. Miles better than Cold War and Vanguard.
Pros: Campaign was okay. Online play is busy, no issues finding matches… that’s about it.Cons: Unfinished game so expect constant 50G updates (DO NOT BUY IF YOU ONLY PLAY CASUALLY). So most of the time you’re waiting for updates. Such a shame companies can get away with a mentality of launch unfinished and fix only what’s necessary to play. It’s jumpy and there’s bugs on every screen makes the game screens so slow. Was very disappointed with this purchase and has put me off wanting to play CoD anymore.
Pros: Stunning graphics and sound. Story line ok but rather clichéd.The choice of well know character actors. Was nice but not well thought out across the board. The one who turns out to be sketchy wasn't really a surprise as the actor always plays sketchy character's. First thing I thought when I saw him... ah you're going to be sketchy.Cons: As with Cod games your shoe horned in to a story line. Your choices are linear with little variety of options on how to progress. Annoying things like gates or walls you should be able to climb but can't becuase of the linear narrative. Feeling often that one isn't completing an objective not because of skill but the game is letting you. Some sections with ridiculous lense flare and lighting effects making it basically ... MorePros: Stunning graphics and sound. It’s another COD game. Nothing new really. All the same stuff we have seen before with more of the same SBMM in multiplayer 6v6. It is pretty thick and sweaty when you play online due to this fact. So if you don’t mind that then, but then again we have no choice so you gotta live with it. Loud footsteps, goofy maps, busted perk system, make it for a frustrating experience. On the positive side, graphics and gunplay are very good. The campaign looks great. There are a lot of modes and content that keeps coming out so you will have stuff to do. My recommendation is to definitely try before you buy.
Pros: Graphics are top notch. The campaign as always, is big budget set pieces woven together to form a typical COD narrative. Very fun to play through. They've changed movement up just enough to keep things fresh and overall the game feels a lot more tactical and discourages sprinting around the map (which I believe is a good thing). The multiplayer is great, I expect to be playing this for the next year or twoCons: There are the usual glitches and omissions we've come to expect from modern triple A releases. There's no Barracks for checking stats, the custom creat a class feature has a bug that prevents you from tinkering with your load out while searching for a game. The weapon progression system has been overhauled and is frustratingly overcomplicated but seems ... MorePros: Graphics are top notch. Finally, the Co-op levels seem somewhat lackluster when compared with the enjoyable missions from MW2019
Pros: There really isn’t any.Cons: Activision clearly taking advantage of the old MW that were decent way back when! U get to play on around 4 maps constantly, built for 6v6 because of lazy development, even Vangard launched with 12v12 maps. Also….. no hardcore mode so you have to put 15 bullets into someone and when your playing online against those ex for night players that have grown up a bit but still jump and slide around every corner like the fairies from Peter Pan it’s frustrating. No zombies mode….. so basically you get a rehashed campaign 4 maps and poor gameplay this is genuinely the worst COD release out of them all! Do t waste your money till they sort it out! Which they probably won’t do.
I would have given a half star but couldn't. The company has dropped the ball on this game at this point. You cannot play campaign local 2 coop any longer so don't invite your friend over, and if you do your options are limited to 3 games in which you match up with others. And in addition to this youll wait anither 30-45 minutes (depending upon your internet speed) downloading add ons so you can actually play campaign mode. You'll also need to update the game right out of the packaging. I'm done with all MW games by the creators since they took away local coop in campaign. I was looking forward to playing with my son since this is all we can have in common because he's a teenager...so yeah that's ruined. Guess I'll go play Halo on Xbox instead thanks alot.
