Callaway Chrome Soft Golf Balls
Introducing the new Warbird golf ball from Callaway. Featuring HEX Aerodynamic design which means the ball has extremely low drag through the air for a more stable flight and gives you optimal launch conditions to keep the ball in the air for longer. The warbird core is larger and softer than ever before to create long, penetrating distance and provides better low-speed lift on the golf ball. It reduces drag and promotes a stable ball slight in all conditions.

I don't normally spend my time writing reviews but this ball is worth the effort. good for me with a rising handicap and for single figure son. Its just a lovely ball, feels good, goes a long way, and doesn't sound as though you are hitting a lump of concrete. I first tried the white and red form but found them more difficult to see both in the air and on the ground. The yellow ones are excellent on both those counts, yet don't blind you. Is the graphene a gimmick? well it seems to last well with no cuts or scuffs, just wish it had a homing device to avoid the double penalty of wayward shots ....

I am an 8/10 handicap. I played 18 holes yesterday. It was very hot and humid with no wind. The Callaway Chrome Soft balls are long and straight off the tee. They fly nicely off the irons. They hold the greens in an acceptable manner and they are fun to putt with too. I recommend them for all players who swing around 100 mph or less. There's a good possiblity they may become my regular ball. I was previously playing ProV1, but as I age I have been losing a bit of distance with them so I have been experimenting. Other balls I have tried are several models of Bridgestone, Srixon, and TaylorMade. I like the Callaway Chrome Soft the best so far.

The new 2019 Chrome Soft is even better than its predecessor, as a mid handicap player I dont often hit it right off the sweet spot but the soft feel coupled with the absolute control on greens is second to none. I also love the feel of the ball when putting, this is already helping me to keep the three putts to a minimum. Very pleased with these balls and will buy more over time

Already an avid user of Callaway's Chrome Soft white ball, for all round game consistency and feel, I'm not surprised that the visibility of the yellow ball does the extra job of helping my golf on gloomy Autumn and Winter days. As expected, it performs identically to the white version but not all manufacturers of premium golf balls produce a yellow version. The Chrome Soft ball is cheaper than many competitors too. So it's a Win-Win with hopefully a few Wins out on the course too!
Decent ball. Soft feel, rolls out nicely, but lacks consistency. As far as another review saying these are half the cost of a prov1, walmarts site has the current year model of the prov1 at $47.99 and the chrome soft at $42.99. Im definitely paying the extra $5 for the consistency I get from the behavior of the ProV1
I've been using the chrome soft since they were released, and have been very happy. The new chrome soft does feel slightly different on long shots with no significant difference in distance or control. It fades when asked and also draws but unfortunately if not hit correctly it can also slice off the planet. Short game is where it felt most different to me,not as soft off the putter and short irons with what seemed less control. They may improve when the weather does and hopefully then maybe I will see their true worth. One last point, they didn't seem to like landing on the frozen ground or slightly frozen sand in the bunker as the cover showed some marking which I haven't noticed on the originals.
Tje Callaway Chrome Soft golf ball is a Golf Digest Gold Medal winning ball. It is aslo played by PGA Tour professionals. I have used this ball exclusively for the last few years and, as an average golfer, I am not capable of "feeling" the difference between it and the most expensive balls on the market. At the price purchased on eBay, this ball is an excellent bargain.
I have played this ball (regular, not the -X) for several years. The feel of this ball coming off my Rogue driver is hard to describe in high enough terms. Butter soft, but 5 yards longer on each club than the old version. I prefer the non-x version so that my less than stellar off-line shots aren't magnified. Great touch around the greens, and again feels incredibly soft but solid on putts. This ball can't be blamed for any shortcomings during a round.
I ordered two dozen of the Callaway Chrome Soft golf balls from Walmart online. The box displayed online clearly has the stars and stripes in the upper right hand cornerand also says Made in the USA. The balls I received do not have the stars and stripes orMade in the USA. Printed on the box and on each sleeve it says Made in Taiwan.I am not satisfied with my order and will return them. I was under the impression CallawayChrome Soft was made in the USA. I hope Walmart will make good on my next order and sendwhat is advertised on their site.
When I opened the box the balls inside did not mstch what they should have been. Someone had switched the ball to a cheaper quality ball. I gave the balls to the person that brought them out and he told me to call the 800 number for the credit.
