Just purchased these clubs. Bought the 5-PW set in “like new” condition. The set came was brand spanking new. Still with the cellophane on the heads! Excellent customer service also when I accidentally purchased regular flex instead of stiff shafts. The gentleman that helped me switched them quickly and easily before they shipped out and there was no time added in delivery. Hit the range irons and my new hybrids also purchased through callaway preowned and couldn’t be happier compared to my clunky super game improvements I replaced! Thank you callaway preowned for a wonderful experience!

I recently traded my Apex Pro/CF16 set for this newer version. I really loved the CF16 version and was skeptical that there could be much of an improvement. WOW, was this the best golf equipment decision I could have made! This club is so much better than its predecessor. The best part of my old set was hitting the 8-PW of Apex Pros because they felt so much better than the CF16s. When I got my new Pro Combo set, the first thing I noticed was that every single club in the set felt like butter in my hands. Aesthetically, these clubs are gorgeous, and the performance matches their looks! In addition, I would like to thank Callaway for their amazing customer service. I was able to take advantage of Callaway's 30 day guarantee and had a replacement set in my hands within 48 hours. Amazing customer service. The clubs are pricey(3 stars on value) and I will wait to rate this club on durability until I've put them through a few rounds. Overall, I absolutely love this new set and matching Mack Daddy wedges!

Bought these irons listed as "good" condition. I was pleasantly surprised when they came in and looked like they had just come off the rack last week! Great product and customer service from CPO. I was previously gaming Callaway Steelhead XR irons. The Apex lofts are not as strong, so as expected, they do not get the ball out quite as far. However the feel is fantastic! My only gripe is these irons are very punishing for off center hits. The heads smaller and the sweet spot seems even smaller still, so it's easy to miss hit lose a lot of yardage. That being said, if your ball striking is above average, these sticks feel phenomal when struck properly.

I am not one to leave reviews but I felt that I had to with this set. I have only had them for one round but they are so easy to hit. I have not replaced my irons in just under 20 years and really did not want to but I could not pass up the offer for these clubs. I am a scratch golfer and really hate replacing anything in my bag because I know what to expect out of my clubs. The Apex pro is the real deal. So easy to hit, easy to control and so easy to work. I love that they did not jack up the lofts to make you feel like your hitting it farther. I am hitting it like they have been in my bag for ever. I had to change the grips because I can not stand Winn Grips. More of a cord guy. If you are a good player and want a good set, give these a try.
Look, I have been switching through many different clubs from many manufacturers for a while now.Mostly pure blades, but there were some players cavity back irons in there as well.Frankly I never got the idea of extra difference really making that much of a difference in my score... I mean I can work clubs right & left as well as decent trajectory control when I’m striking them reasonably well...Wow I was wrong to overlook distance advantages vs. Older weak lofted blades. I’m about 12-15 yards longer depending on the club. In the longer irons I hit the 4 iron longer than I have ever hit my old 3 iron... Almost as long as a bad hit with my old 3 wood. They are so long I only have 13 clubs in my bag right now as I need to get fit to figure out the right club to ... These really have been a game changer. Better dispersion long/short & left and right... Plus longer... And they bite hard when hitting into any green... What's not to love. Can’t believe I never even had these on my radar.
Being a Callaway player since 2003, I haven't found another brand that convinced me to switch. I've grown accustomed to that Callaway look, feel and sound. I have been watching the Apex Pro 19 since it came out. Finally pulled the trigger recently and thus far they have exceeded my expectations. Starting with the obvious, this iron has a very classic players iron appeal. The overall design and shiny chrome looks great in the bag. I have played five rounds since purchase and my game seems to be getting a little stronger each time I tee it up. If I could just avoid the silly mistakes that we all seem to make at times, I'd be scoring better than I have in years. If I could just avoid the silly mistakes that we all seem to make at times, I'd be scoring better than I have in years. After a good bit of research, reading and testing, I paired these irons with the Nippon Pro Modus 3 Tour 105 shafts. This set-up seems to be the perfect match for my swing tempo and how I accelerate through the golf ball. Center strikes instantly give you that "flushed" feeling. Off center hits still aren't too bad but the iron lets you know you missed it, which is exactly what I want for my game. I have actually picked up about 10 yards/club with this iron and shaft combo. Don't have any trouble holding greens, even with the long irons. Great iron that should enhance any serious golfers game. This iron will boost your confidence instantly.
I got a custom built set with upgraded shafts (nippon modus 130) and grips (tour velvet align midsize) which look fantastic with the red flashes.I’ve been shooting the lights out since they arrived having done a gapping session to find how far they go (+9yd’s vs my old set).On full shots I get consistency of distance, a strong & penetrating flight that peaks high and lands soft with good spin control, I can shape it, and I feel happy, inspired and confident looking down on them.On shorter swings I can again control range well, play knockdowns, and have a good feel from them. Not the absolute softest, but that adds some durability to what is a soft but crisp feeling.I’m now a Callaway man through and through having added the epic flash sub zero driver in 9.5, ... I’ve won 2 long drive prizes in the last month (340yds and 355yds....my average best with my old driver was 280)...and I struggle to miss the fairway now and can hit ‘high bombs’ with a baby draw or soft fade or just nail a straight one with a lower flight...I honestly find it great to hit. The Mack daddy’s are also a dream, the 58 degree with s grind has changed my bunker play immensely....I can’t fail to knock it close easily and I was much less consistent with my vokeys and ping glides previously....hands down the best wedges out there.Looking to add an epic sz 3 or 4 wood next....but I’d like to see if Callaway add a new driving iron first so I can gap correctly.Very impressed with everything from Callaway right now....I’ve fallen back in love with the game so thanks
I'm a 3 handicap and my last set of clubs were Mizuno MP-18 with Dynamic Gold stiff shafts. A great, beautiful golf club. But I had never been fitted and wanted to go through the process while getting a solid back-up set. After much testing, we settled on the Apex Pro's with Recoil graphite stiff shafts. Things got off to a rough start when Callaway screwed up the order, not once but twice. Very frustrating and it delayed getting the clubs in my hands by 4 weeks. However once I started hitting them, I pretty much forgave Callaway. Now the caveat is, I've only played about 14 rounds with them. But at this point I'd say: The irons are very nice looking, longer than the Mizuno's and more forgiving. The Recoil shafts really make a difference in terms of hand/arm impact. ... They are 95 grams compared to the 120 gram Dynamic Golds. In terms of feel, trajectory, forgiveness and workability, these irons deserve very high marks. Unfortunately last week I noticed I have some rust developing on the back of my pitching wedge. Not a great look for a new iron and something I'm not pleased with. We'll see what Callaway does about this. Until then, the jury is still out.
I have played and loved Apex Pro ‘14 KBS Tour V shafts= That sweet spot, feel, flight- unmatched, at least for my swing.I had to take a few years off after bereavement and idiotically allowed my ‘14’s to get sold. So fast forward a few years and of course I go and buy Apex Pro ‘19’s -these are fantastic irons but... first thing-rust developing on the bottom toe portion of the cavity of my 9?? On the back, really, already? Now, my ‘19’s have TT tour issue S400’s. This is my issue, I’m a 10 now was a seven hc and it’s coming back. However, it might just be the extra weight of the TT shafts and that they have a different kick point , but , here and there I’m getting bad vibrations on any slight/ thin miss hit unless I SWING, Hard. Then I get some pure love out of them . Possibly its all me, (chances are it’s me) but I’ve since bought a muscle back with a kbs shaft just to see if I should get some kbs tour v pulls or something because I just flat out LOVE the KBS TOUR V’s. The TT are not for me. That said, these are FANTASTIC IRONS AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM, even with the wrong shafts for a long smooth swing, I still recommend them. The rust is a bummer , but then callaway isn’t revered for their finishes. It’s lame that a beautiful new club is already rusting on the back! Maybe they’ve got a little concave spot back there that the water pools in or gets trapped in the , um .. crags, seams or whatever , but rust from the cavity doesn’t affect playability so I’ll live. All that said, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, just please consider these factors before buying.P.S. there are also “Apex Pro double dot ‘19’s “ Available from Callaway, same look basically but I believe they have ; less offset than these, double dots on them and a thinner top line so at address it doesn’t look as bulky .Fore!!
After owning my new set of pro 19’s, I have not found a fault in any of the irons. I always do my research and go out and test all the new clubs of the year; I have a golf connection to play the newest clubs in a full round at my disposal so I took advantage and played a full round and a half with the pro 19’s and knew I was hooked. I went and got a custom fitting and these are simply great irons. I have played blade irons for 20 years and this is the first time I was perfectly comfortable trusting an iron, with even a remote amount of cavity back, to still give me the freedom to fade and draw the ball at will, and these irons do it beautifully. With that said, I’m amazed at the iron’s ability to save a mishit toe shot so beautifully without even the slightest feeling of jarring one to death. These clubs are not cheaply made, my clubs still retain the beautiful polish they had when I purchased them and they hit exactly the same. The most common thing I find while playing with other golfers using new equipment from other brands is I constantly get asked if they can try a shot or two with my irons and all of them immediately comment just how easy the pro 19’s hit and how beautiful the ball flight is.To summarize for me, I’ve seen a couple of bad reviews on this website, I didn’t hit their personal clubs, but I don’t have one complaint. I am able to consistently shoot under par and maintain consistency from shot to shot: shot distances, shot control, and the ease of shot shaping. I couldn’t recommend these irons more.
