I have owned every major brand driver. Adams, Callaway, Nike, TaylorMade, and Titleist. I have been experimenting with driver head and shaft combinations since I discovered the Callaway iMix system a few years ago, so suffice to say I have a solid understanding of the wide variance of shaft performance. When I saw the 2013 X-Hot Driver with the legendary Oban Devotion Shaft on sale, I could not click on the "buy it" button fast enough. It took me about an hour at the driving range to figure out the best swing for the Oban shaft. Since purchasing this driver, I have taken it to the local golf store to compare it to other drivers on the launch monitor. The LM verified my on-course results by beating every driver with a stock shaft in the store. I could not be more satisfied. Thanks Callaway Preowned!

This is a wonderful driver. Compared it against Nike Covert, Callaway X2-Hot, and the X-Hot Pro. Hands down winner. The X2_Hot is nearly identical but more cosmetically pleasing. Hitting both clubs is almost a mirrored in each other in distance and feel. A person with money to burn might be better served with the X2-Hot but in the hands of identically skilled golfers the difference would be indistinguishable. I do get a slight whistle when swinging the X-Hot that isn't there with the X2-hot - I think it is related to the trailing edge shape of the club head but once you get used to it it isn't a problem. The X2-Hot has a better shaft and causes a need to select shaft flex carefully. Distance is exceptional with both of these drivers.

Ordered the 13.5 driver. When it came in I took it to range and was very happy with the accuracy but not sure about the distance since it was windy at about 25 mph in my face. Next 2 days it settled down so I played with the driver. I hit all the fairways but 2, and those were in fairway bunkers. No wild bending hooks or slices. Ball went where I aimed, but only at a 3 wood distance.I called customer service and told them I needed a different loft and they took care of it immediately. I only had to pay for the shipping label, and in 4 days I had the 10.5. Great customer service. I love it!Played a few rounds with new driver and I am averaging right at 85% of fairways hit. Playing in cold weather along the Jersey shore can be tough with the wind and cold temperatures, but I'm still getting out where I was with my Titlest 910.I since ordered the 4 wood and 3H and have played a couple rounds with them and got same results. Love them all. Can't wait for the warmer weather. The condition is better than I expected, all were average designation, but exceeded my expectations. A couple wear marks on the soles, but nothing on top sides of clubs. Great value, performance, service! How can you go wrong?

As a 64 yr total beginner bought the 13.5 deg model with the senior flex graphite shaft . a friend had lent me a ping with the ultra light shaft ( which was very nice actually ) and gave me some pointers , grip, stance , rubber "t" height etc all the stuff I needed to know and I could immediately hit 6 out of 10 balls to a standard that she said was acceptable . Confident that i wouldn't damage my new XHot I got it out of the bag and hit 23 out of 28 balls beautifully AND 40yds further ( as long as I didn't try to hit it harder ) ! Over the moon , and hoping that if I bought the same set-up as a 3 Wood , that it would feel as wonderful ! Haven't a clue what the s,o and c adjustments mean but I don't care . As it came it goes great . Would highly recommend this ... MoreAs a 64 yr total beginner bought the 13.5 deg model with the senior flex graphite shaft . a friend had lent me a ping with the ultra light shaft ( which was very nice actually ) and gave me some pointers , grip, stance , rubber "t" height etc all the stuff I needed to know and I could immediately hit 6 out of 10 balls to a standard that she said was acceptable . As a 78 year old golfer I was looking for a senior flex easy to swing driver that would not break the bank. The Callaway X Hot driver is that club. It fit my budget and it improved my game at the tee box.
Purchased under the 30 day free trial which was recently offered. Tried out this club almost the full 30 days before making a decision to return it. On the plus side, I really like the pop this club face has. Got really good distance with an easy inside/out swing. The Project X shaft seemed weaker than the rated regular flex. Had some great t-shots and had some bad hooks when I really got into it. My gamer driver has a 45 inch shaft, so the 46 inch Project X took a little getting used to. This driver might perform better for me in a Stiff flex. Since the club head is draw biased, I found the Open setting to be more suited to my swing. The adjustable face angle feature is simple to use. Callaway Pre-Owned is a top notch seller, and I would not hesitate to buy from ... MorePurchased under the 30 day free trial which was recently offered. My aim here was to give this club a fair review as I believe most senior golfers like me will find it to be a keeper. My suggestion is to try the different flexes in this shaft before committing to a purchase.
I absolutely love this driver!!!! I demoed it before I purchased it and loved the feel and explosiveness off the face of the club. It is very easy to swing and the head doesn't feel bulky. It makes a great sound off the face and is very forgiving. Off center hits do not lose distance. Additionally, the club is very good to look at with its silver and black and red color scheme it is an absolutely beautiful club. Lastly, the dark grey face makes it easy for you to spot where your ball is making impact with the club face to allow you to adjust your positioning. Oh and did I mention on a 426 yard par 4 I was 70 yards from the green, I'm outdriving my playing partners by an average of 50 yards since putting this club in my bag. Was looking for my first NEW golf clubs, without having to mortgage my house. Went to the PGA Superstore and found this driver. Had issues hitting it at first, but purchased it anyway. Once on the course, took me a couple of rounds to get comfortable with it, but immediately loved the feel. Once I got use to the swing, I could really see and feel the difference from my older Nike driver. The launch was great, the sound is banging and the results....phenomenal. My only complaint is the grip. Wish the standard grip was a little tackier.
Have ordered 2 X-Hot Drivers to date from this web-site, 10.5 and 11.5 degrees. Both clubs are extremely easy to hit, have incredible feel at the point of impact, and appear to be very forgiving when slightly mishit. The sound at impact is impressive and the hype about additional distance appears to be legitimate as I would estimate I am getting anywhere from 10 to 20 yards greater distance with these clubs, along with much better results in terms of accuracy.I also purchased the X-Hot 3, 5 and 7 woods and feel similarly about those clubs. Due to the season I have only hit these clubs on the driving range about a dozen times since purchasing them early this year.I have made several Callaway Pre-owned purchases in the last couple months after a friend recommended ... MoreHave ordered 2 X-Hot Drivers to date from this web-site, 10.5 and 11.5 degrees. I have been using an FT9 pro 9.5 degree driver. It was getting a bit long in the tooth. Reviewed several magazines and web sites and the x hot driver was receiving good reviews. Bought one off the pre owned site when it went on sale. Purchasad a 9.5 degree. Ball goes higher and longer than my FT9. It can be missed, but not often. Lot of correction in the clubhead. Understand, I purely love this club. I do need to make a couple of comments. The sweetspot on the face is a little more toward the heel and it took some hits to get used to that. The other odd thing that I didn't realize, if the setting is changed to the hook setting, the grip actually is rotated and the rib ends up along the callous line in my palm. I have therefore left it stock and can still hit a slight draw when I want. I have used it three times. On 6 holes on my home course (90 rounds a year for 12 years) I have bested my previous best by 15-20 yards. What's not to like about that kind of performance? I can say this- I need a new 3 wood now for some holes I could blow the ball through the dogleg. Anyone know a 3 wood that goes as far as an FT9?
