Godd Insulation, Poor Durability

Great bottle to keep cold water cold for a long time. Also great to keep water from spilling. I got this bottle after I spilled water into my computer while taking a drink and fumbling my last container. However , the durability is not that great. I just dropped it for the first time yesterday, and now it leak water all over me every time I try to take a drink. Too expensive to only last a couple months!

Great for a few weeks, then problems arise

I’ve had this a few weeks now. I actually did not buy this for athletic/adventure use. For that I prefer light weight bottles. I bought this for daily use to through into my leather tote bag. I work out of the office, on the go since I do freelance/contract work. At first, it was great. However, I’ve noticed it does sweat and avoiding sweat was the whole purpose of going for stainless steel. It also does leak just a tad at the valve. Another no-no for leather.It’s not exactly keeping my water cold throughout the day either. And, yesterday I had to push the cap pieces together, but that could have been user error rather than bottle quality. I’m not passing judgement on that yet. Incredible. Sensational

I was born to drink water from this bottle. I bought this one and the magnetic screw-on cap one (same size) and took them both on a trip to Hawaii. I definitely favor this one but they’re both great. Hold lots of water and stay cold all day. Get two and you can help out a thirsty friend. I may buy a hundred more. Thanks Camelbak!

Lightweight, durable and BPA free

Camelbak reviewI like that it’s made of 50 percent recycled materials and is BPA, BPS and BPF free! I appreciate also that the cap and bottle are dishwasher safe. I like that it is lightweight, and I don’t have to worry about metal being dented if I drop it, which I often accidentally do. The hard plastic handle on this Camelbak is more durable than the soft plastic Nalgene loop on my other water bottle (which has actually broken after 2 years of everyday use). This feature is important to me because I attach a carabiner to my bottle for securing atop my kayak. Currently you have to touch the part you put your lips on to access the mouth piece. Other than that, it’s a great all around water bottle!

My nephew loved it

I bought this water bottle for my nephew for summer camp. He went camping and used it, he loved it. It holds a good amount of water and makes him remember to refill it. He would rather drink out of a straw, so he loved this one and loves to bite things as a fidget, so that’s a plus too. He’s also dropped it quite a few times on concrete and it’s held up great.

Nice, practical water bottle

This is a nice water bottle. It is so easy to carry and use, that I notice I am drinking more water than before since I got it. The bottle does not leak at all, even without folding down the mouthpiece. The carry handle is wide enough to fit two or three fingers, so it is very comfortable to carry. And there was no plastic taste or smell from the very beginning, unlike some other plastic bottles.The mouthpiece is removable, which makes cleaning it somewhat easier. However, it is still quite hard to clean on the inside. The top opening is a slit, so you can't fit anything through there without damaging it. The bottom opening is bigger, but still too narrow to fit even a small brush, and the inside is wider than the opening so it is hard to clean around the corners. ... MoreThis is a nice water bottle. Plastic heavily peeling on inside cap of bottle

Plastic heavily peeling on inside of top I picked this water bottle because it boasted being free of numerous chemicals in plastic like BPA, BPS and BPF. Who wants to ingest harmful plastics in their water right? So, it was completely disappointing that there was peeling plastic coming off from the inside of the black cap. There was so much that at first I thought I had overlooked a cleaRead more about review stating Plastic heavily peeling on inside of topr plastic seal for removal but when I went to peel it off, I realized it was just layers of the inner lid sloughing off. So much for avoiding eating plastic with my water. This was about my third time using the water bottle.

Stays cold all day!

Great size bottle that actually fits inside the mountain buggy bottle carrier (hurrah!) but still contains sufficient volume to keep this thirsty mama sated! The vac insulation is awesome and truly keeps the water soooooo cold! For hours and hours in the hot sun. I’m still getting used to the bite valve which does make it seemingly leakproof but I take up quite a bit of air as I drink, so it’s not as nice as a standard straw, but worth the hassle for the other benefits. I chose purple and it’s a nice vibrant colour. Hopefully it won’t scratch too easily! Item was delivered super fast by the Sleep Store and in perfect condition.

Works as advertised.

Overall a great water bottle. Durable and solid performer. It was dropped a handful of times on walks, hikes, and at the park, but other than a few scratches, it came away unscathed. I would likely choose a color other than clear next time, as scratches are very visible on the clear. I would also like it to have markings showing the fluid amount. Using other brands of water bottles for running, I do slightly prefer the other brands’ rounded bit valve (on the left) to the CamelBak’s slightly oval bite valve (on the right). Overall, a solid performer from CamelBak.
