I got this bottle for my birthday, and since then I've used it constantly. It keeps water cold even when hiking on hot days, and when I use it at home, I drink from it constantly. The mouthpiece is durable and withstands a remarkable amount of chewing (my pencils are very relieved). I've scuffed it up a little around the bottom, but it has yet to dent, and I've dropped it several times already. Perhaps best of all, it doesn't give my water that metallic taste that makes some metal water bottles so frustrating. The only problem I've noticed is that it's pretty easy to screw the lid on at just a slight angle, which can make it leak. But, when the lid is on straight the seal is really tight. This is an all around amazing water bottle, I'd absolutely recommend it to ... MoreI got this bottle for my birthday, and since then I've used it constantly. This water bottle is great for general daily use and light day hiking. It does not sweat and keeps water cool even in a closed vehicle for hours. I have been using a plastic Camelbak 750 ml bottle and had a problem keeping it clean. This bottle is much easier to clean and mold free since it is stainless steel and the mouthpiece is upgraded. Water does not stay in the mouthpiece and it is dishwasher safe. Also the handhold is larger for easier holding or hooking. Easily fits into a outside daypack water pocket. Even though this is a bit heavier this is my bottle of choice.

We are pleased with our new water bottles, which keep the liquid cool or cold for a couple of hours. I don’t believe that these are as good as our old Camelbak stainless steel insulated bottles, which really kept ice frozen for several hours. Also the bite nipple seems more difficult to clean, in that we’re afraid it will eventually tear the inner silicone connector tube. But, for now it is satisfactory.

Love my Camelbak water bottle. The NO HEAD TILTED back to drink feature with the straw works perfectly for me. I drive a lot, and it allows me to safely take a drink while my eyes stayed focused on the road. Also, the insulated feature keeps my water at a perfect temperature in spite of the three digit heat. Thanks for a great product!~
One day, while sitting on a horse, drinking hot water from my regular eddy+ water bottle, that had been sitting on a fence post in the Florida sun, I said to myself...........I said, "Self.....wouldn't it be great if this water were cold?"In one of those "duh" moments, I poked around the website and found the same water bottle, but insulated. I love that I can work it with one hand-cause the other one's usually holding horses, it can sit on a fence post in hot sun and keep the water cold, it's tough and durable for when it gets knocked off the fence post, and super easy to clean, carry, and see the bright colors from afar. It clips on the saddle with a carabiner, and is an easy size to hold. I'm not a big person, so some other brands are too cumbersome to manage. ... MoreOne day, while sitting on a horse, drinking hot water from my regular eddy+ water bottle, that had been sitting on a fence post in the Florida sun, I said to myself...........I said, "Self.....wouldn't it be great if this water were cold?"In one of those "duh" moments, I poked around the website and found the same water bottle, but insulated. The top seals shut, doesn't leak in the car, and the stainless steel carries no odors/taste from various drinks. Would probably work for hot beverages, but I only use it for cold.
In 2007 I was gifted with the non-insulated, plastic version of this water bottle by my boss at a product review company. That's how much he liked the bottle. As an avid mountain and road biker, that bottle is still my go-to bottle that I keep in the frame of my road bike. (I wear a CamelBak pack when I mountain bike.). I love that I can pull the bottle out of the frame while I am riding, and drink the water without tilting my head back. This water bottle is of course heavier because it is metal and insulated but on hot summer days, it's worth the extra weight. It doesn't slip into the bike cage quite as easily because it's hard metal, but it functions exactly the same, except that the water stays cold! There's a little lip handle that I wouldn't typically consider ... MoreIn 2007 I was gifted with the non-insulated, plastic version of this water bottle by my boss at a product review company. It doesn't slip into the bike cage quite as easily because it's hard metal, but it functions exactly the same, except that the water stays cold! There's a little lip handle that I wouldn't typically consider if I were buying a bottle off the shelf, but having used this bottle, and an earlier version of this bottle for 13 years now, I can tell you it's perfect for easily grabbing while on my bike, then using my mouth to flip the mouth valve up. I tend to use a water bladder when I hike as well but on super long hikes when I am nervous about not being able to tell if I'm out of water in the water bladder, I like to throw in a back-up bottle. This one fits great in the mesh side pockets when I wearing a bigger backpack.
I have tried many water bottles from many different companies. I’m kind of a water bottle collector of sorts. I really like the feel of this bottle. It holds a decent amount of water. Nice size for toting around, doesn’t take up too much room in my bag. It’s truly leak proof which is a huge plus! The mouth piece is very different from any water bottle I have tried before. You use your lips or teeth to bite down on the mouthpiece which then opens the straw and then suck like normal. So far so good but tbh I’m worried about how long it will last, especially since I sometimes share my water with my 5 year old (who loves this bottle). Overall I like this bottle a lot. Nice looking too! Hope it lasts a good long while:)
Does it's jobn it's not loud to me. I mean, sure if I suck wrong I get some sounds but generally can quickly adjust and get a silent or normal straw sound. Biting isn't a pain to me. *shrug* but i bought the non straw lid aa well ao i don't have to wash it and wait if I needed to, can just swap and go so... I like them both!! Just aoaked my old stuff in Vinegar to cut off smells and it works wonders. I'm terrible at staying with a wash schedule. I like it! Thank you!
The bottle has been able to withstand basically every activity I throw at it, and every drink I put in it. Very good for teenagers, young adults, and adults.I purchased a couple of these for my children, and gave some away to other folks who were interested in it. I gave away different colored bottles and different sized bottles. In each occasion, the recipient was happy to have received this bottle. The metal construction is excellent, and the rubberized sipping tool at the top is decent. Although, I am almost sure that I will need to clean it once in a while.
The Camelbak Eddy+ 20 oz bottle made of insulated stainless steel worked so well! With a cold drink, I could put in ice and my drink in the morning and still be drinking that drink in the evening and it's still cold and still has ice in it! With hot drinks, same concept..I could put a hot drink in it and the drink would still be warm in the evening. This comes with an internal straw with a soft tip so you can drink things and maybe not stain your teeth. The body must be hand washed which is very easy to do. The top can be put in the dishwasher, but if you have to hand wash the top, it might be difficult to get down in the nooks of it with a sponge or rag so you might have to use a bottle brush or something for that. It's attractive and has a ring that you could ... MoreThe Camelbak Eddy+ 20 oz bottle made of insulated stainless steel worked so well! The color of mine was attractive...I got purple and it seems very tough like the coating would not just scratch off when taken places.
