Campo Viejo Brut Reserva was a great pairing with wine and cheese night When I was looking for this in the liquor store, the owner told me the Brut Reserva was more popular than the Brut Rose one. I tried the Rose one the other day and because of that, I went on to purchase this one I am so glad that I did It was super refreshing and I was able to taste the hint of apples It is definately more on the dry side of wines and typically I enjoy sweeter wines. Campo Veijo is an affordable wine with the price point of 12.99. With the summer coming up, I will be bringing this to picnics to share with friends I love wine more so than hard liquor and I would definitely recommend Campo Viejo to all my friends and family Please note this honest review is based on my personal ... MoreCampo Viejo Brut Reserva was a great pairing with wine and cheese night When I was looking for this in the liquor store, the owner told me the Brut Reserva was more popular than the Brut Rose one. I recently had the pleasure of trying Campo Viejo Tempranillo wine and I must say, it did not disappoint. The wine has a deep ruby color and a rich aroma of black cherries, vanilla, and spice. Upon tasting, the flavors were just as complex as the aroma suggested - ripe blackberry, plum, and a hint of oak. What I appreciated most about this wine was its smoothness. It had a velvety texture that made it easy to drink and enjoy. The tannins were well-balanced, giving the wine structure without being overpowering. Overall, I would highly recommend Campo Viejo Tempranillo to anyone looking for a delicious and easy-to-drink red wine. It pairs well with a variety of foods, from grilled meats to pasta dishes. Plus, at an affordable price point, it's a great value for the ... MoreI recently had the pleasure of trying Campo Viejo Tempranillo wine and I must say, it did not disappoint. If you like Cabernet, you might enjoy this Tempranillo! At $8-12 or so, it's a delicious and affordable wine I'd be happy to serve with dinner or bring out at a casual gathering. It was perfect for sipping while relaxing on the patio after work this week. While not the most complex or sophisticated wine out there, I liked the bold, fruity taste. The wine itself is more on the dry side than sweet, which is my preference, but was maybe a touch more acidic than some of my absolute favorites. However, I think I'll keep this wine in mind for the future!

I picked up this wine and here are my thoughts. I know some people were struggling to find it and I was able to find it at Total Wine. I think the price point for this wine is pretty amazing at just around $10. I had a few friends over for a wine night and we all got to try it. Personally I tend to like sweeter wines so this was not my personal favorite, but if you like dry wines than you might love this. I also think this would be a good wine to mix with certain foods or involved in cooking or maybe to add fruit and make a sangria.
A delicious, smooth and affordable wine. Let me start by saying that this wine is totally under rated. I was excited to be part of this campaign but didn’t have much hope. Boy was I mistaken! The packaging is non impressive and can be easily missed at the supermarket but shouldn’t be. To my surprise, this wine was very elegant. A am Loving it and looking foward tontry it again!! #contest #summeruncorked #liveuncorked @Influenster @campoviejousa
There is something g about the cold weather months that fuels my thirst for a nice glass of red wine. Last night was no different. After spending the evening working a hockey game, I grabbed the Campo Viejo Tempranillo from the wine rack and threw on a Led Zeppelin album. It was just what I needed. It burst with fruit flavor while maintaining an appropriate and pleasurable dryness. The bottle only gave its a complexity rating of two, but as I sipped it hints of vanilla and spice unveiled itself that could easily bump this to a three. Scanning the QR code on the lab took me directly to their website, where I learned they make a Rose (sparkling and still) out of this very same grape. I can't wait to try them!!
Received the @campoviejo Tempranillo red wine blend complimentary from @influenster in exchange for my honest review. The wine had a deep, bold flavor and it paired nicely with a steak dinner. It is affordable and a great table wine to enjoy with your guests. Made in Spain, it has a unique flavor profile. You can even add lime or orange slices to your liking. I highly recommend this wine. Must be 21 and older to consume, drink responsibly. #contest #summeruncorked #liveuncorked @Influenster @campoviejousa
I definitely wanted to make the most of my experience, and pair this bottle with a good meal. I cooked up some wild boar and Brussel sprouts with a balsamic reduction topped with grated Grana Padano. The Tempranillo paired beautifully. It was not overpowering nor did it have a heavy burn or bitey-ness like other wines that I've tried. My husband and I genuinely enjoyed it. I did sip on some before we ate and felt that Campo Viejo’s Rioja Tempranillo had a pleasant smoothness, deep cherry/fig flavor with a hint of smoke that, to me, may be hard to find in some other more popular red wines in the states. I wouldn't say that it sweet, but it's definitely not bitter nor astringent. This particular variety is also relatively inexpensive. I give it a 5/5 and I am definitely grabbing a few more bottles to keep on the wine rack.

Firstly, the color and aroma are really lively and pronounced. The wow factor is totally there! This is no boring mom merlot! Here are the refreshingly accurate tasting notes from their website: “Leading with beautifully ripe black plum and berry fruit, and the brooding, dark earthy/cacao complexity typical of great Merlot, the wine also displays more lifted aromatic hints of violet, lavender, vanilla, cedar and spice. Bravo to Campo Viejo for creating this lovely mix of complimentary flavors and thank you as always to Influencer for facilitating another great opportunity! Happy Influenstering!
This wine has a vibrant deep red color. The flavor was bold but a little bitter on the back end. This was a drier wine then I had expected. This was fairly smooth to drink. Much better, taste and smoothness, if aerated. Standard opening process for this bottle and easy to open and the bottle design is ok. I get more of an aged rum feel over it being a bottle of wine. I did not experience any negative side effects the next day after having a couple of glasses. Overall this was an ok bottle of wine!
