I’ve been wanting a Canada goose jacket for YEARS! I own a vest but I finally bit the bullet and bought a true jacket and let me tell you, I am so impressed. The quality is outstanding and it is super warm. I cannot wait to wear it. I love the feature of the straps to carry around on your back if you don’t want to wear it in a store etc. For reference, I am 5ft 1 and this coat hits mid thigh. It is long in the arms but it’s doable. The coat is a heavy duty jacket, it’s not light, pretty heavy when you have it on. I did not want fur on the coat and the fushion fits all had fur in the styles I liked. So I am happy with this coat overall! Don’t hesitate to buy!

This coat is great if you’re looking for a heavier jacket. The quality and fit are incredible. Fits tts. I am a size 6 and a medium in jackets, I ordered a medium and its perfect. Its tight enough for warmth but loose enough for layers. If you are in a colder climate this jacket is worth it

It is perfect…length, color, fit….I love it and cannot wait to wear it…I got a size S, and was worried that it would be too long as I am also petite. But the length was really perfect above my knees, nd the fabric should repel rain or snow. I had another Canadian Goose coat for ten years, and it is finally showing it’s age…looking shabby but still warm! Might use that for walking in the park? Worth every penny!

Looks great to wear, feels great to wear, real quality and luxury ! Pictures on the Canada Goose website are a true representation of the product. I would, without doubt, recommend and purchase Canada Goose again. My only complaint, especially given the amount of money involved, is with the packaging, arriving in plastic bag in a battered cardboard box, truly awful gift presentation compared to Burberry, Dior, Gucci etc.
wanted a Canada Goose jacket for a long time and finally decided to buy the Merritt Parka. I wore it in Copenhagen where it was -9 degrees celsius and raining. I was warm and dry. I was amazed how warm this jacket is. Great quality, great product. I recommend it without hesitation.
I purchased the Trillium, Elmwood, and the Merritt in search of my new winter coat. I'm 5'2" 120lbs. The fit of the Trillium was horrible on me- not flattering at all, not to mention the zipper was difficult to zip. The Elmwood was too much coat to handle for every day (good if you live in Chicago or NYC and walk a lot). The Merritt was perfect. The fit is true to size. The length is just right, not too long or short. I like the subtle a line cut of it, which is flattering and makes it easy to do things in it. Thumb holes are a must. Love the color of the Atlantic Navy. My only wish is that the hood had a bit more fill in it.
I thought I was buying a high quality GOOSE DOWN coat as per the name. Canada Goose does not mention ANYWHERE in its description or on their website that they only use DUCK DOWN AND FEATHERS! The coat stinks and smells like water fowl. I only found out after paying $995 for the Merritt Hooded Down Parka and on the inside tag I finally found out what type of DOWN they use. Stated Duck Down & Duck Feathers. Isn't it misleading to have the name Canada Goose?
I purchased this jacket less than 3 months ago. I noticed today the the back pack straps are shredding and coming out Of the seams. I have used the straps maybe twice. I don’t even wear the coat every day. For the price this is poor quality, especially for the amount I paid. When I called in to exchange it, they no longer have the jacket in my size. I LOVE this jacket and have yet to see anyone else with it. (Which makes me love it more). I do love how maintains the warmth but wish this hadn’t happened.
I LOVE this coat. It's incredibly warm, waterproof, has awesome features, and is super stylish. I love the "back pack straps," it has ton of pockets, hooks for your gloves, and the hood is adjustable in multiple ways. It's a high recommend!
The Merritt is a beautiful jacket, extremely warm, but unfortunately I had to return it due to the bad fit of the sleeves, which are too long. I am 1.67m, 57 kg, ordered a size S which was definitely the correct size, but the long sleeved were making it look bulky. I doubt the XS would have fit better, i decided to order another model.
