The EOS 1500D is capable of 14-bit RAW photo output for high-resolution still images that are perfect for post-processing. Save often-used settings as one of the 11 Custom Functions and share the snapshots online via the compatible Canon Camera Connect app. For wonderful souvenirs, direct printing is also allowed to Canon compact photo printers. Having had experience, in my younger days, of manual SLRs I thought Id give photography another go and maybe try harder this time at being creative. I did a few days research before deciding to give the Canon EOS 2000D a try. It appeared to have all the features, I thought, I needed at a reasonable price and I knew Canon usually turned out a solid piece of kit.So far, Ive not been disappointed. The build quality is very good and its one of those ergonomic designs you just cant stop looking at. That may sound weird to some but, when Ive just purchased something Im going to be using for few years, I want to enjoy handling it as much as creating some nice images. This Model is regularly described as Entry Level and a Good starting point for DSLRs frankly, I disagree. ... MoreHaving had experience, in my younger days, of manual SLRs I thought Id give photography another go and maybe try harder this time at being creative. Yes you can start to point and shoot straight out of the box but this piece of Kit can definitely grow with you to the point where I, personally, dont really see myself venturing far beyond.Just a couple of tips before you buy.1. Do research which Canon models have an Image Stabilizing lensIS as standard. Youd be surprised at the number of shops who fail to make this clear in listings. You may end up spending more than you need if you dont do this.2. Do invest in The Dummies guide which you can also purchase on Amazon. The Camera only comes with the bare minimum of setup details and there is no way you will fully understand all the buttons, setup screens and huge amount of features without sitting down with this guide/manual and taking the voyage of discovery at your own pace.

Pros: Overall a great little camera for your holidays. Curry's should make it very clear that this is no professional tool, least a beginner is confused; but it's definitely a great bargain considering the two lenses, and I strongly advise it to detox from out addiction to phone cameras. You will not believe how much gets compressed and lost when you use your phone compared to something like this. The camera is obviously extremely fragile, and the mirrors are exposed every time you change lenses: watch out for dust or abrupt bumps! Cons: I would have preferred to find a USB cable in the package so that one can download pictures straight away. Instead, all you get is the naked machine and the lenses. Living far from any shop, it meant waiting for a week before one ... MorePros: Overall a great little camera for your holidays. The SD card was also a problem: not only there is none included in the bundle (again, thanks for not alerting the buyer - I had to order one and wait for days), but you will not find anywhere any specification about which card format is compatible with the camera. For someone city-based, it means taking the camera to a shop, and enlist the help of an expert to find the right card; for someone in the countryside like me, it meant hours of web forums and spec charts until I could work out whether it was a mini, a 0.3, etc

European version of the US version T7 Entry level Still picture Camera
22 April 2022

Europe's 2000D is the USA's T7. It has English menus. It is the entry level of the higher quality still picture cameras and is well made and designed. It does do video at 1080 and is decent but for higher resolution video you would go for a different camera. The options are great for most people that are not professional photographers and good enough for those who are for 95% of their photos. Good variety of lenses available and the body is fairly compact while still large enough for good handling. None of the fancy niceties that cost extra money but still being able to get high quality photos.

This is a fairly modern Canon DSLR camera. I've already done some test shots with it and am quite satisfied. It came with a myriad of options(filters, specialty lenses, battery chargers, a small and floor standing tripod, even cleaning cloths for the lenses). The vivitar camera case wasn't that large, but supprisingly, every thing but the large tripod fit in the case. The only thing I am in need of are a couple of different size telephoto lenses of which I can still fit one in the camera case. The owner manual and warranty card was included as well as a card about the EOS software for my computer. This was an "open box" item yet virtually everything was there and the only thing that appeared to have been touched was the camera body itself. GREAT CAMERAAA
25 May 2022

Very easy to operate, even for inexperienced users. The lens that comes with the camera is very good quality. Only recommendation is get a bigger lens for zoom shots. The doubler is of decent quality, but not great. The SD card that comes with it and the battery are of substantial capacity. I have taken over 300 photos and some video and have not had to charge the battery or delete any photos yet. The canon app is very useful. All in all, a great beginner to intermediate DSLR camera.

Great camera
6 February 2023

I bought this camera a month ago. It works great but the only downside is it isn't a touchscreen. If you want to use it for recording like I do I recommend buying a side screen so you can see yourself recording from the front. Apart from that the quality is great and the camera is easy and fun to use I love taking photos with it. Make sure you get a camera lens clear protector because they're quite easy to scratch and break. The lens is very expensive so make sure you get that. Overall I think that it's a great buy for starter photographers and recording too. Overall I recommend this camera.

I just got my box went through the list and that's how I find out I was missing those items, please do the same. I hope they send me the missing items since it comes with the no so cheap bundle price (is worth the price anyways, others are more expensive for the same). on the camera body it says EOS 2000D and doesn't say EOS REBEL T7 but it is the same. Overall, I'm happy with the bundle except the tripod the missing items and the bag. I hope my missing items get here asap. checked marked everything I'm missing.

Pros: Canon product, so excellent durability. Really good image quality for an APS-C Canon "crop" camera.Best dlsr camera for price range.Very good battery life. Very easy to transfer photo to phone or devices wirelessly. Cons: No image stabilisation on the camera which isn’t great when recording on the move, although you can purchase lenses with image stabilisation. There are better products at this price for video recording but not for photography.

do not buy .i bought a cannon rebel t 7 camera. first it came already defective it would keep my batteries chsrged. i thought it waa my batteries bought some more nope same thing. register it with cannon to claim the warranty. they couldn't accept the warranty because it wasnt supose to be sold in the U.S. then i called the extended protection plan i had and since it was alreasy defective they couldn't fix it. called back to Walmart and they supposedly left a message with the seller said they would get back with me in 48 hours. that was sunday before labor day still nothing. i called them they told me to email them the receipt so i did Friday with the cannon warranty receipt. guess what nothing yet. i called up there 3 times and no answer. do not buy.
