Awful. absolute nightmare to set up. doesn’t connect. finally got it working to discover the picture quality is horrible. print lines, dark blotches, blurry and colours not even remotely close to original picture. don’t bother with this printer

Very happy with the printer. Even more happy that it prints double-sided all on its own.. My last Cannon printer didn't - I had to turn the paper. Excellent value.

Canon printer works really well and is small and easy to fit on my desk, love the red colour and the only thing i had problems with was connecting with wifi...in the end i just used a usb cable, i just couldnt get it to connect to my imac.....all software was correct but still didnt connect. once i plugged in cable away we went. super easy to use and prints well

Have had the printer sitting there for about a month. Only just found the cord needed to set the printer up. On trade me no less. It doesn’t come with the printer. Without the cord you cannot set it up. Now I see a bunch of them being sold on trade me for a dollar as apparently it’s useless lol Can’t say if it works or not as the cd is useless for the apple laptop I have. (No disk drive) I only got the printer for my daughters school work so will probably be fine for the use. The cartridges are small though so buy extra and they cost more than the printer
Purchased this printer just wanting something to print easy enough, have wifi to connect to phone laptop and also scan. Setting up laptop it didn’t want to pick up wireless.. eventually it did. But the most basic thing of all - feeding the paper. How hard it is for a printer to feed the paper ! It has trouble collecting paper and always says “load paper tray” when there is paper ... then it might pull it through. Already had a paper jam within first 15 mins. Hopefully it feeds paper easily enough from now on with out any dramas. Who would have guessed something as simple as pulling paper through to print would be it’s biggest down fall.
So far so good. Its doing everything it should. Its not as fancy as my previous canon printer which had a screen. I have referred to the online manual a few times to find out how to do things without the screen. Super easy to set up and connect. Only requires 2 cartridges which is good. The printing lines up properly on the Avery labels. Reverse side printing is easy and the print is clear and defined.
Great printer. Runs smoothly. I did have some issues setting up the blutooth from my ph. I had to try multiple times. It worked on only one phone but not the other. And i had to sit right next to it. Finally it printed. Although my mum has the same printer and her husband can print from his ph in another room. So idk if im just doing it wrong or the wifi connection isnt as great in my room. But other than that i like it. Came with free ink cartridges too.
I bought this printer to use with my Chromebook, I called Canon first to check if it was compatible. It will only work with Chromebook using a Type A to B usb cable for printers, I picked up the cable from Officeworks for under $5. The printer is excellent value for money and works well.
Cannot set up wirelessly following the instructions on the paperwork. Purchased an external CD drive to install software0 and set up following CD instructions. Still cannot set up. Will be asking for a refund.
Easy set up, easy to use, works seamlessly with my S10. Could not be happier. This model also comes with full size inks included unlike other models. So many bad reviews, omg crazy. Took just few minutes to set up. Instructions could not be easier, not that they are really needed. And it's so nice that they have made a red colour, at least it's mot the usual black or white printer colours. Looks great, works great, and the free app for other printing features is also flawless. Do yourself a favour, if your looking for a cheap printer that is good for mobile phones, then I recommend this model.
