Got this as a christmas gift for my grandfather and cannot be any happy. It's very light, fits easily in the pocket and easy to carry. The photo/video quality is amazing and the shutter speed also adds to a great experience. If you're an amateur photographer, this is one of the best devices to get started. Can also easily be mounted on a tripod and timed to click perfect portrait shots

I purchased this camera in August 2022. Big Mistake. The camera does not have a viewfinder and that makes it very difficult to take a picture if you are outdoors and it is sunny. Trying to frame the picture and and holding it far enough from you face to see the Screen is a real problem. The camera has some great specs, but the inability to frame the picture and hold it steady while held out so you can try and see the picture you are trying to take on the screen just doesnt make it happen. Sorry, it need a view finder. Very difficult camera to use easily. I have gone back to using my Canon Powershot SD1100 IS Elph which is much older but does a better job actually taking a picture.

I had been looking for a camera with specific features and I found that the Canon ELPH 360 HS cover almost all of what I wanted, Well, then trying to find one to purchase was the true challenge. 'Sold out' and 'Out of Stock' was all I was seeing. Then I gave B & H a look and boom they had it in stock. I purchased it, went back to the site's listing of the camera and it said the familiar 'Out of Stock'. I had got the last one. I am very happy with the camera and it is shooting great pixs. Thanks B & H!!!

This is my second ELPh. My first one fell onto the floor and the lense no longer opened and closed. I used my Iphone for photos only to be disappointed in the lack of features. I insisted on replacing my old camera with another 360HS since I get great quality photos. There are 2 features I found most helpful. 1. The ability to record a voice caption with each photo. This helps identify what I wanted to point out in each photo. 2. The ability to use my phone as a 'remote shutter control'. I can mount the camera on a DocaPole monopod and elevate or extend the camera into inaccessible areas while using my phone to control the shot zoom and take the picture. Priceless!!
Used the camera 2 years with no issues. Many settings and features to learn, but takes very good photos for compact camera. Then LCD screen began to deteriorate, first just a few lines on right of screen, but now fully one half screen is unusable. Cost to replace LCD at nearest Canon repair center is more than cost to buy a new one. Since there is no other way to frame photos, camera is useless.
One thing I've learned over the years is that point and shoot cameras are handy, but they don't last. A Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS70 that I purchased in late 2020 just died so I opted to replace it with the less expensive Canon ELPH 360 HS. Here are my thoughts so far:PROS:Very compact. Easily fits in a pocket.Good image quality in good light. Better than expected quality in low light up to ISO 1600.Allows for some user control in Program mode.12x zoom yields good results across the entire zoom range.CONS:Very few bells and whistles at that price point (some may find that a positive).Battery life is nothing to write home aboutIn summary, this is a handy camera to have when I don't want to lug around my DSLRs and a bunch of lenses. I got this camera in advance of a family trip out of the country. In the past, I'd simply whip out the cell and snap away as it was conveniently always with me anyway; plus I had the added benefit of the pics being immediately backed up in the cloud. But the phone's getting older and I'm not getting the battery life (or storage) I once got out of it, so this camera was meant to lightened the load. Shutter response is slow....from what I've read it's not a design flaw, that's just the way it focuses....but nonetheless a bit of an annoyance when trying to take quick shots. Also, consistent with other reviews I read BEFORE purchasing, it doesn't do the greatest in low-light conditions.....this is really where my cell out shined this camera. Also, consistent with other reviews I read BEFORE purchasing, it doesn't do the greatest in low-light conditions.....this is really where my cell out shined this camera. At this price point, I would have expected better low-light photos. Even playing around with the scenes, etc didn't seem to make much difference. Works well in outdoor/sunlight environments, but if you take most of your shots indoors you may want to consider another option. Getting to some of the options like flash on/off, scene settings, and toggling between views was a bit cumbersome also compared to even similar cameras I've owned in this class. I should point out that I'm a recreational photographer with two high-end Nikon DSLR's so I'm accustom to a certain level of performance. This camera might be okay for the average person to take on the weekend trip, but definitely not going to be my go-to camera for any event that I'm serious about preserving. Again, sad, because I was hoping it would also be an alternative to lugging the DSLR to my kid's soccer game or a family birthday party.
I've had this camera for a few years. For the most part the photos are good, sometimes blurry due to shutter delay and a weak processor. That would all be ok, but since Google shutdown wifi connection through NFR Canon hasn't put out a firmware fix at all. Thus, it is NOT WiFi compatible as advertised. Their reluctance to fix the issue is also a ding on my review here. Had I a chance to pick a different camera I would definitely do that.
Ok I am in love with this camera! I am in college and bring this camera with me everywhere. Everyone always makes fun of me since we have cameras on our phones, but having this forces me to take pictures without being on my phone, so I have more fun! It has this mode called creative shot which gives you six images for every picture, and adds random filters, cropping, and makes the pictures look crazy! As in crazy fun!The only downside is that the screen did break. There is something wrong with the camera internally, but Canon has a year-warranty where I could get it replaced for free. But that would mean giving up the camera for about 2 weeks and honestly I do not want to give it up!!! I always end my nights with a few hundred photos and loveeeee going through all ... MoreOk I am in love with this camera! I am in college and bring this camera with me everywhere. I would definitely recommend this.Best Buy College Crew members receive products to write honest, unbiased reviews. This is not the camera I thought I was buying. I thought it would have in-camera battery charging via USB and photo offloading to a computer via USB cable. It has neither. I suppose I was confused by the web site description, the list of suggested accessories, and the customer reviews. I've never been so wrong about a product before. This camera's wi-fi method of transferring photos looks so complicated and confusing that I don't even want to try it, so I bought a USB data card adaptor ($10) to dump the photos directly into my PC. I did not want a wi-fi camera. The buttons are tiny and challenging to manipulate and see (unless you have perfect youthful vision).
