Such a great collection of some of Capcom’s games from the 90s. There is so many games to play. Even though some are sequels to games like Darkstalkers. Or revamps of past games like Street Fighter 2. There are so many lesser known games that are worth discovering. There are many filters and the menu music sounds so good. Also, there is a gallery to look at several art from the games included.

Capcom Fighting Collection contains a fair amount of Capcom's influential fighting games of the 1990's, but it must be noted that several titles in this collection are just variations of Darkstalkers. Still, pretty much every title on here is pure gold (even if some are a bit rough around the edges by today's standards). Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, while not technically a fighting game, is a welcome bonus for fans. This is a great collection when you consider how many options are available for each game, and the sizable art and music galleries are the icing on the cake.

I bought this collection in order to play the classics that I was too young to play when they were around, as well as play the Dalkstalkers games, which I've become a big fan of. While I was happier with the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection than others, this collection is certainly better. Without question, this is yet another "Capcom Test", made to see the profitability of reviving any of these series with a new title. I can only hope that sales are good enough that we will get another Dalkstalkers game, for as terrible as Marvel vs Capcom Infinite was, I was very happy with Jedah Dohma's inclusion and execution.A perfect way to sum up this collection is with a quote from Felecia, "Puzzle Fighter, Nightwarriors, Darkstalkers, I do it all!". For the first time we have a complete Darkstalkers compilation in North America!!!For the price you can not go wrong, get it before it becomes a collectors item!I have it for the switch (digital & physical) and also for PS4 (physical), which is backwards compatible with PS5.For the Switch the joycons are not the best for fighting games in general, a Pro controller is needed to pull off move sets. On the PS4 it is amazing.In all versions Capcom gives you a download code for Bonus Music & ArtworkIt also it comes with a Free Three Wonders Game download code from the Capcom Arcade Stadium 2, which releases on July 22 2022.It we support this hopefully Capcom will release a Marvel vs Capcom compilation!!
A great collection of games. If you enjoyed the Darkstalkers series this is a no brainer for you. This includes all of the games from this series. Also included are a couple of Street Fighter games and Red Earth. A boss rush RPG from the CP System III days. The various video settings let's you display the games like in the arcade. I've had these games on MAME for a number of years but it's finally nice to have them for a modern system.
Vampire Savior fans(aka Darkstalkers) are going to enjoy this collection. Because of the great quality of the ports for all of the games featured. They all play smoothly with no load times, and the animation and sound are both smooth.The same goes for the Switch version, which I also have. Either version is a good use of 40 bucks and will give you hours of solid entertainment.
A bunch of old games in a simulator. If you mainly want to play online, you may find it is really hard to find matches online, but it's ok to play single or with other people locally. However, this game has a very serious problem for me that the health bar of vampire saviour games in this collection will make image retention on my IPS panel screens due to its special shape and light. Not because my screens are old or what, my screens never had such a problem; never had any single image retention. Some other people also encountered it. The developers won't fix it, so if you have IPS screen, I would suggest considering twice.
If you’re looking for an authentic port from the original games to the Switch, this does the job. Personally, I was hoping for a bit upgrade in terms of graphics especially knowing that there was an HD version of puzzle fighter which was not included here. That is a bummer hence the lowered score here. The rest of the games definitely brought back lots of memories of time spent at the arcades. Just wish Capcom would have taken advantage of Switch’s HD screen more.
A great collection of Capcom deep cuts. With a great focus on the Darkstalkers series, featuring all 5 arcade games. The very obscure Red Earth has finally been ported to consoles! Red Earth is a really neat fighting game that feels like a over the top fantasy rpg boss rush. On top of all that, you still get more gems. A true must have for Capcom fans!
