The Caprice Platinum roller blinds consist of a 6 pass block-out blind, which provides complete privacy and excellent insulation, while also reducing noise pollution. Secondly, the sheer roller blind allows natural light into your room and reduces sun glare while adding privacy. The inner roller blind tube is made from heavy duty aluminium, providing overall strength. The double bracket can be altered to allow for standard or reverse rolling, plus the chain can be installed for either left or right hand side of the blind. This roller blind can be face fixed or recess mounted by the home handyperson and the width of the roller blind can be cut to the correct size by following the instructions supplied. The drop on all sizes is 210 cm although this still fits all windows as for smaller length windows the excess can be left rolled at the top without affecting the performance.

I bought these as I had purchased the single blockout blind in this style and it was perfect and easy to install.Overall I’m happy with the blind quality. The blockout blind doesn’t let any light in and the sunshade works perfectly. The issue lies with the bracket. It’s badly designed and is essentially two separate brackets screwed together. Of the 4 blinds I ordered the bracket is in a different configuration on every blind so I had to adjust them myself. Because the two brackets are screwed together; one is behind the other so they have different lengths between them but the blinds are the same in length. I found this extremely finicky to put up considering I can put up the single blind in about 5 minutes.I would purchase a different type of double blind if ... MoreI bought these as I had purchased the single blockout blind in this style and it was perfect and easy to install.Overall I’m happy with the blind quality. We started off with 1 purchase the next week we purchased 16 for the whole house. It makes a big difference on hot days, so winter will be the same. We also have curtains so works a treat, you can see out but they can't see in during the day, perfect for what we need. These blinds made a big difference in the house at night, our rooms are pitch black with the blinds and the curtains which we purchased from spotlight on special several months ago. If you are looking for an high end product then this isn't for you but if you are looking for an alternative at a reasonable price this is a fantastic option. We first looked at customised blinds that quoted us 20k for our whole house last year, we made the decision to keep an eye out on spotlight specials and found these ... MoreWe started off with 1 purchase the next week we purchased 16 for the whole house. All up it cost under 2k to do our whole house, so later we'll invest in security shutters as that would be more viable for us. Anyway, hope this review helps others. The worse thing would be that spotlight charge you for delivery even if you spend over $100 bit of a joke, other than that the product is great, price is great, easy to customise yourself to your window size and it has great window size options.

The blind quality is very good but i did not appreciate getting two alledgedly identical blinds only to discover they had different metal trims. Obviously mixed batches. Bit late to do anything after you cut open the box. I went into the store and all the blinds had identical metal trims so either i got the cast off or whover packed my order didnt check. Buyer beware explains why on the olden days you just got on your horse and went into the stoee and picked it yourself now we order online and get to write an unhappy review

The width of the blind was advertised at 60cm. When I arrived at your store I measured the blind width with a measuring tape - it was actually 57.5 cm.Your online product description is inaccurate. The process and time taken of purchasing it online, driving to your store in Carnegie and discovering the blind in fact would not cover the width of my window was very disappointing.
We have these throughout our house. I like the sheer blind option and they look quite nice but the quality is poor. We followed the instructions exactly about shortening the cord and now the blind won’t close all the way, meaning we wasted our money as the cord joiner won’t fit through the roller mechanism. Have tried contacting Caprice a few times on this issue and they don’t answer their phone or return calls. Very disappointed. Hopefully these rest of the blinds we have last a few years and then I’ll get something better.
Great alternative to custom measure blinds. Night blind paint rubs off easily but other than that it was easy to cut and install. Gotta be clever with the measurement. Blind says to cut 2 cm to equal the measurement you want but the blind is already that measurement. So be smart with measuring before cutting.
I recently purchased my first home and the windows desperately needed better coverings. I saw these and was a bit skeptial because of the reviews with them not all being fantastic.I’m so glad I went ahead and bought them anyway! They look much higher quality than what we paid. Super easy to install and use and look amazing. We have had several people comment on how good they look and were surprised to hear they came from spotlight!I highly recommend these to anyone searching for a cheaper alternative for blinds.
I purchased my first two dual caprice blinds last year. Easy install, great look and functions well. Purchased more for the rest of the house/rooms- dual and sheer combinations. Customer service was poor, lucky I went in knowing what I needed and filtered through the products to find the correct colour. Price is fair (only when there's a sale) compared to other stores with similar blinds.
Terrible quality, 3 out of 4 of the original blinds were marked with black stains and some of the packaging was damaged upon delivery! Half of the blinds are also cut on an angle so they are wonky, we’ve even unrolled them all the way out but it’s the material that’s not straight! Very very poor quality!!
These blinds are perfect! They look great & work great! Pull chain & brackets are all metal! Would never purchase blinds with plastic brackets & chain! Have in past & the bracket broke when installing & the chain wouldn't pull the blind up or down, the blind kept just falling to ground! These blinds were so easy to install because they Do have metal brackets & chain! They are perfect & look beautiful! The blind fabric is beautiful, as are the colours! I love that they are day n night blinds, dual, has two blinds, looks beautiful & no need for curtains, don't have to worry about Fan blowing curtains anymore & looks nicer without curtains!
