I used this flour as a subsitute for Bob's Artisan Bread flour for sourdough bread, pan loaf and rolls. It is just as good, and my breads came out very well. I did not use it for pizza. My family seldom buys bread from stores, bakeries etc - we have been baking our own bread for the past 2 years.

Bought the flour and yeast to try and help my dough making skills as I found using supermarket flour wasn't giving me the correct texture. I used this in conjunction with the simple dough recipe from the Oomi website and it worked perfectly, lovely stretchy dough which might I could make lovely thin pizzas which tasted great. Used the yeast in other bakes and I've definitely noticed an improvement in proving

Iām no expert, but I found a real difference using this flour. The only problem is the family compare all other restaurant pizza to mine and they always prefer mine!Again I shopped around and Ooni were by far the cheapest.

I tend to mix this flour as a majority with a little wholemeal to increase the nutritional value of my dough. It's important to have a good quality bread flour when i do this as I need the high protein content to help give the dough a nice sticky and stretchy texture. I find the Caputo flour is consistently good.
Brilliant flour.. I use 950g (Save 50g for flouting surface when balling the dough and rolling out later on), 1 pint of Luke warm water, 1 1/2 tee spoons of Allinsons Dried Yeast, 2 tee spoons of table salt. Mix and let rise until doubled, split into 6 and ball the dough let rise again. The stretch out as you like. brilliant results every time.
Started using this after seeing it on here - I wasn't satisfied with regular store flour. This flour really takes the pizzas to the next level - love it and won't use any other flour!
So happy that Ocado is finally stocking Caputo flour - Ive been using it for my homemade pizza doughs with fantastic results, but its not the easiest flour to source. Thank you Ocado!
This is my goto flour for perfect pizzas every time. Works equally well for slow proves in the fridge or for a same day or really quick spur of the moment (1hr) batch. I use the Ooni classic dough recipe for slow and quick proves.Produces great flavour pizza bases with a really light fluffy crust. Family and friends agree. :-)
Tried caputo flour instead of bread flour. Found big advantage when using the stretching technique. Pizzas have to be eaten straight away otherwise when cold theyare a little "chewy"
