Bring Back The Old Quality And Fit

The K87 shirt in previous years was quite good. A thick and durable shirt for work that had a good fit. It was comfortable. Well that all changed within the last couple years. When the shirt switched from "original fit" to "loose fit" carhartt claimed it was the same exact fit but it was not. It was overall bigger and looser, not a good fit. Also, at some point over the past couple years the quality of these shirts have gone. They use to be thicker, softer and didn't stretch out so easy. Also many of the new ones have a bunch of polyester in them that causes pilling. What a shame cathartt.

I ordered sku 7480764 because it says "original fit" in the specifications. I received loose fit.I do not care for the loose or relaxed fit. I had to order the L Tall because the length differed so greatly between the shirts. Poor quality control. I was told Carhartt stopped making the original fit which is too bad. I personally buy 20-25 of these shirts every year. I also will change my place of business to a different vendor because we bought carhartt for the employees. Carhartt is a large company and I'm sure you don't care about this complaint. Word travels and I will definitely voice my displeasure to others.

I really liked the color and wear Carhartt all the time. However I've never come across this problem till I bought this blue force tshirt. My deodorant I've worn for years with all my old and newer style Carhartt force shirts in all different colors has never seemed to be a problem. This blue shirt however in the armpit area it has almost discolored to a purple ish blue color after one time of wearing it. Then after one wash it seemed to have random discoloration spots all over the shirt. I've never had this issue before and I'm hoping this is a one off issue with this color shirt and that with the new style/colors this isn't going to be an issue moving forward. Very unpleased with the expense of the shirt and the quality received.

Great tee, old design vs new design
6 June 2023

These are really nice t-shirts. They fit well. The collar don't get loose. The length is sufficient which is hard for me to find in a tee due to a bit of belly. They haven't faded due to my many runs through the washer / dryer. This is a great casual tee, not for dressing up.These t-shirts have recently been updated. I like the new design as much as the old. Here are the differences:I used to wear a Large Tall in the old style. The Tall was only 1/2" longer than a normal t-shirt. With the new design, the Tall is now about 2" longer. I had to return it and get the regular length. The new design has two rows of stitching on the sides. Looks great. A very nice improvement. The new design is 1/4 ounce lighter, not significant. I wish they'd made it 1/4 once heavier instead.

My favorite shirts
14 February 2023

These shirts are great for everything, I used to buy them because they handled the summer heat well and were very durable for manual labor jobs. Now I have a different career but I still buy these shirts for working out and every-day life. I love the cotton/poly blend, they feel and look good but they still breathe and dry fast, and they don't get stinky like all-poly shirts do. I think they have a great cut, although they do run a bit big. I usually buy large t-shirts but the mediums fit perfect. I don't think they shrink with the initial wash, and they definitely don't shrink after that. There's no seams or tags that bother me, and the pocket is very functional, even fits my phone. Sizing inconsistencies
29 October 2022

I've bought a lot of Force shirts over the years and generally like them a lot. They fit nice and the fabric is very nice. The only issue I've had with them is inconsistency in the size. I always buy a XLT and the size can be all over the place. This last batch I bought is no different running on the slightly larger to a good bit larger than other ones. Sometimes the shirt fits like a dress, sometimes it fits really nice, and sometimes it's too tight. I've seen a difference of 3 to 4 inches in the length of the same size shirt. That's way to much for a shirt that should be the same size. Please tighten up the QC. I'm starting to look for shirts from another company and I'm hoping to find something that is more consistent than these. It makes it very hard to put my phone or anything in the pocket, except for a pen, but that will fit regardless. Please remove this. Thanks

So Many Compliments!
9 August 2023

These T-shirts are great. I'm 5'9", 155 lbs., with a 37 chest and a 30 waist. I bought size small. The fit is clean but roomy. I have to pinch the hem by pulling the shirt in back a bit if I want the shirt to be smooth and tight in the chest. The sleeves are wide. I like to fold the sleeves twice on each arm to make them shorter and tighter. The shirt runs long, especially in the back where it has a drop hem. It shrank up in the hem about .5 inch and a little bit in the body on the first wash in hot water. If you fold it quickly out of the drier then it doesn't wrinkle too much. I like to iron mine, but it's not necessary. The cotton is thick with a panel on the side that breathes a bit, but these are not lightweight t-shirts. Stocked Up!

I love these shirts. The only real issue is you never know what you're going to get size wise. I now have a dozen of these shirts and while I ordered the same thing every time the differences in sizes is pretty dramatic - so it's hard to do the rating here saying if they are small or big because the answer is both. They all fit me so it's not a huge issue for me - and it's an issue I have had with any t-shirts I have purchased over the years. I was also disappointed to find the discount rules had changed and that the military discount was lowered and couldn't be combined with other offers - AND you didn't automatically apply the better of the offers. I didn't realize any of changes had been made until after I placed the order and it dawned on me the bill was ... MoreI love these shirts. I do appreciate even having the military discount but like a lot of other places now - it will mean nothing because there is always another discount out there and since they cant be combined that 15% may not get used much.

Used to be great but now cheap and thin
16 March 2023

The new "heavy weight" tshirts are now over 2 oz lighter. The reason I know this is because I've been buying these shirts for 8 years and now they are ruined. I bought 2 new shirts and noticed they felt quite a bit thinner so I returned them and then went to another store because I thought I was losing my mind. So I bought 2 more and these also felt thinner so I actually weighed them. My older Carhartt shirts weigh around 14.5 oz after several washes. These new shirts weigh 12.3 oz and what a huge difference. They now feel cheaply made and quite frankly I'm disgusted by this. I can't believe you guys made these shirts 2-3 ounces lighter just to save a few bucks. The reason these sell so well is because they are thick, I'm a big guy I like thick shirts. ruined a good thing
8 June 2023

They redesigned the carhartt force t-shirt and really ruined it for me, mainly the pocket. They sewed up the side of the pocket to make a dedicated spot for a pen or flashlight presumably. The items I normally put in that pocket no longer fit, smaller items still fit but the opening of the pocket on a 3xlt is not large enough for a large man's hand to fit in to retrieve that item. Overall I'm very displeased and now have to find a new shirt to replace my favorite summer shirts. This new designed shirt is about 1 size bigger than my last 3xlt force t-shirts which makes them fit more like the standard pocket t (not in itself bad) but some consistency would be nice considering some people order online and or see the size they need on the shelf and purchase without ... MoreThey redesigned the carhartt force t-shirt and really ruined it for me, mainly the pocket. I am returning my entire order of 6 shirts, I only wore 1 hopefully they will take it back, would be a shame to pay 30$ for a shirt that I don't like. Carhartt don't "fix" what isn't broken. Please change the poorly designed force pocket back to a standard t-shirt pocket.
