finding Carhart pant lengths inseam is a 28 is tuff we searched 200 miles from home and still had to order them. and they are still not a true 28 so a little long but much better than 4-6 inches long when they are 30-inch inseam. just happy to find pants that fit.they also were not the work pant but a dress thinner material version which will do but when working on equipment and with animals would like to find the same work Carhart pant.overall we are happy to get pants that fit and will keep buying as we only have one farm store and no clothes stores in our town to buy clothes for anyone and walmart does not qualify for clothing shop

Best fitting jeans I've found---right up there with classic 501's. Should be about $60 but are MUCH less! Sturdy for working with great protection from brush and most thorns. No shrinkage allowance needed when trial fit. Doesn't cling like the "flex" chick pants. Not old-man baggy like relaxed fit that my dad wears. Rear pockets could be a bit higher up but that's all I'd change.Big negative is Carhart's production and inventory sucks a wild root, though that's not really a design issue, that does mean I need to find a new brand.

I bought these jeans because they are what came up when I searched for the B18 model and thought that is what I was getting. These ARE NOT B18. For many years, the B18 has been my go-to jeans. All cotton, thick fabric, looked good, fit good. These BD2807 jeans are only 85% cotton, 14% polyester, and 1% spandex. The jeans were too long, longer than my usual 32 inches, and fit looser. Since they have so much polyester and spandex, I doubt they will shrink any. The fabric appeared to be thinner than my usual B18 jeans and the coloring, to me, looked like cheap fake stonewash. I paid more money for what I consider to be lower quality jeans. I am very disappointed in this purchase and the two pairs I bought are being returned to Carhartt. Until Carhartt decides to bring back the B18 jean, I will be shopping elsewhere for jeans in the future.I will say that Carhartt Customer Service was very understanding and helpful assisting me with my return.

This review is a review of the very page I clicked on to see my order confirmation and tracking details. On this page there is a button to a size guide. I was curious so I clicked it. The size guide has among other things shadowed depictions of a man of average build times 3. In each one there is an transparent image of different fit jeans over laid on the mans image. To show what the fit is like in relation to the man's body. A nice feature I think I liked it the only problem with it is it does not show the fit jeans that I have ordered. Why would they do that I wonder. If you're going to show something like that show it for all the different fit jeans you have not just the three you've chosen here especially since none of them are the ones I have chosen. How dumb
My 4th Pair. 2 other black pair were identical in fit and fabric. This pair is cut slightly larger, and the fabric is different. They all wash well, and do not shrink hardly at all. The "Flex" makes for a comfortable fit. They wear well, as I have 3 pair that are at least 2 years old, and they have all been washed nearly weekly, and other than fading, show great durability. They might run slightly small in the waist, as I wear 35 waist in nearly every other pair of Jeans/Pants/Shorts.
The fit of these jeans is great and they are well made. However, I was very disappointed with how thin the fabric is. I chatted with the on-line Carhartt representative who told me that these were the heaviest weight denim available in a slim fit denim jean. Unfortunately, the tried and true B-18 Carhartt skim fit jean has been discontinued. The B-18 jean had a good heavy weight fabric. I'll need to look at other brands now. Big disappointment.
I have been wearing the Carhartt traditional fit jeans (B18) for many a years and I absolutely loved them. They had the perfect fit for me; tapered, not huge through the seat, and a mid-rise. I loved how well-made they were with the 15 ounce cloth. I would keep getting a new pair for the rest of my life.Unfortunately, like so many other companies in the clothing industry, Carhartt has decided not to offer the tried-and-true product and replaced it with something 'trendy'. I had hoped Carhartt would have been immune to this, but apparently not. These replacement jeans for the old traditional fit are much more flimsy and have a shorter rise. They have literally no advantage over the B18 jeans. Ordered another pair of B-18 straight fit and they are nothing like the previous straight fit I have owned. Now, because of this model's previous durability, it has been 2-3 years since I have needed to make a purchase. In that time, the B-18 has taken on the appearance and fit of the relaxed model and no longer is a straight fit. The denim material itself is not as "heavy or thick" and it just has a different feel when wearing them. The waist was a little larger so I thought a washing might snug it up; I was wrong. The cut is larger through the seat and thighs and stays that way to the ankle. It is just an overall looser fit. Very disappointed and since I have washed them, I am now stuck with a pair I will not wear.In the past, I noticed the pairs I had that were ... MoreOrdered another pair of B-18 straight fit and they are nothing like the previous straight fit I have owned. Very disappointed and since I have washed them, I am now stuck with a pair I will not wear.In the past, I noticed the pairs I had that were made in Nicaragua were of better quality and fit than the Mexico-produced product. But in this case, this latest pair showed a Nicaragua tag. There goes my non-scientific assumption.
I'm happy with them, but just wish that they were made out of a heavier cloth, so that they would be more durable for my lifestyle. I choose Carhartt over Levi's because of the extra belt loops in back and my past history with your jeans. But, they were also made of a heavier material, still in a slim fit, tapered leg. Now, I cannot find them anymore. Dick's Sporting Goods has a small and pretty much useless selection, with poor inventories of what they have. Farm & Fleet doesn't carry some of the styles anymore either.
I bought a pair of the Relaxed Fit Rugged Flex - 34W, 36L - that fit perfectly. I'm very tall with long legs, so finding a pair of jeans that fit this well is a rare occurrence. I immediately bought another pair of the exact same jean in another color. When it arrived, I was dismayed to find it was entirely too small, both at the waist and in the thighs. I checked the tags and the pair that fit well was made in Bangladesh, while the ill fitting pair was made in Mexico. I returned them for a size larger, 36W and 36L. These, unfortunately, also did not fit well. The seat was too tight, though the waist did fit. All this to say, beware! Sizing becomes very inconsistent at these measurements!
