This product is great! Many people don't even realize they need Vitamin K. I have tried a few and I don't even suffer with any side effects. I take it every other day and it does what it's supposed to do. I like this manufactured brand and I'm sticking to it.

Alas, this is not it.Unfortunately, although the product is advertised as pharmacy-grade, I suspect that MK4 was randomly breaking down to phylloquinone (K1), thereby antagonizing warfarin and requiring my warfarin dose to be increased to record levels. There were random fluctuations in my INR (international normalized ratio, the standard measurement of warfarin's effect on blood clotting) from one week to the next, which needless to say made for complications with hæmodialysis and severe bruising at times. Meanwhile, the expected reduction in my blood calcium level did not occur, so I have had to reduce my calcium intake.I am taking a break from this supplement, and will be replacing it with MK7 rather than MK4, so that I get the intended effect on my calcium metabolism, and none of the effects on blood clotting that are associated with K1.

This Carlson Vitamin K2 was recommended to me by medical professionals for bone health while I am on an estrogen blocking drug after breast cancer surgery and radiation. So glad I know about it. I'll keep taking it after I am off the meds since I like it so much! It is a great quality product and at a good price. I highly recommend this product!
