Carolina Herrera Good Girl Eau De Parfum Spray 30 ml

Carolina Herrera Good Girl EDP is one of my favorite and most worn fragrances. It is perfect for date night and evening wear. It is also beautiful any time of day in the cooler months. Good Girl opens on my skin with a hint of citrus and bitter almonds mixed with coffee. The body is a beautiful combination of jasmine sambac, Bulgarian rose, soft orange blossom, powdery Orris root, and the only tuberose that has never suffocated me. The base is very pretty and perfectly rounds out this fragrance on the dry down with woody and cocoa notes combined with the sweetness of tonka and vanilla. There is a heavy base of musk and amber that adds sensuality to this perfume as well as an overload of patchouli that makes this perfume feel a little “dirty”. It also anchors this fragrance to skin longer than most I have owned. This perfume has been a staple in my collection for years. It is one of the Top Three fragrances I believe every one should own. It always gets compliments and always makes someone lean in close. It is available in various sizes at Sephora year round. I definitely recommend it.

Good Girl is a lovely, complex fragrance. Upon first spraying it, I was hit with an alarming alcohol smell that faded nearly immediately into a jasmine and citrus infusion. A little bit of lemon, and something bordering on bergamot. After this upper layer fades, which happens fairly quickly. the perfume moves into it's more enduring notes, which are much more gourmand. Starting with an almond note, and then into a heavier coffee, cocoa, praline, and slight floral mixture. It has a very heady musky sweetness. It reminds me of a really lovely incense. It finalizes with a woodsy, cedary smell, that is a little spicy and even more musky. It finalizes with a woodsy, cedary smell, that is a little spicy and even more musky. These final notes really only make an appearance when the fragrance is sprayed on clothes, where the longevity is much longer than when sprayed on the skin. However, personally I preferred the way the perfume wore on my skin as compared to clothes. Something to note is a persistent remnant of the citrus note- a sort of sour lemon candy scent remains throughout. So who is this fragrance for? It is certainly feminine, however I think some men and certainly non-binary folks could really love this. It has a really lovely gourmand/floral sweetness to it, but it's also heavy, mysterious, complex, and deep enough to skew unisex. It could be either mature or youthful depending on the person wearing it- no age barriers in my opinion. I would definitely stick to wearing it in cooler temperatures, as I think that same musky heaviness could be a little overwhelming in warmer temperatures- unless of course wearing a fragrance with a beastly sillage to some hot sweaty club is a power move for you, in which case this is totally the ticket. In terms of the packaging, there's more to it than the ICONIC shoe design. (Which can be either hit or miss, depending on your preferences.) The sprayer is fabulous! It has, legitimately, the smoothest, most satisfying spray I've ever experienced. I think there are people this frag would be too much for, honestly, and so for that reason I can't recommend this as a completely blind buy- if you know that heavy muskier frags can be a headache trigger for you, I'd steer clear. But if you're up for something floral, sweet and incensey, I think you'll really enjoy this one.

I received this fragrance in return for my honest opinion. The minute you open the box you fall in love with the impactful and stunning bottle shape. The high heel bottle is elegant and makes for the perfect decoration. Even when my bottle is empty I will be keeping it because it looks so neat! The bottle itself is a mysterious smoky midnight blue glass and the sleek gold heel is the finishing touch! I spent years walking around Sears during the holiday season demoing fragrances so I like to think I have some knowledge when it comes to fragrances and I’d have to say this one would be a top seller this holiday season and beyond. The scent itself is sweet yet not to sweet. It’s in the floral family and it’s key ingredients are Tuberose, Jasmine Tonka Bean. On first spritz I absolutely loved the scent but found once it dried down it wasn’t the absolute best scent for me. As with most fragrances it reacts differently once it’s on your skin. That’s why some fragrances smell differently on each person. I’ll still wear it just not an every day scent. If I spray it on my clothes it still smells beautiful just remember not to spray all perfumes on white clothes because some fragrances can stain white or light coloured clothing. Also the scent lasts all day which is great! In all I think this is a wonderful fragrance and the bottle itself offers a fantastic curb appeal!

Good girl is a sensual and mysterious perfume, perhaps too complex to understand but not trivial: it is a fragrance that has many faces, given the many facets, a perfume for those who do not want to reveal everything at first sight but let themselves be discovered in its various character sides. The bottle, much discussed as tacky and cafona, is instead, for me, one of the most beautiful. Remember that kind of woman who always wants to make a good impression and show confidence towards the viewer, whether in an interview, formal occasion or emblematic moment of her life, or for a dinner with partners and friends; a carnal and bewitching fragrance. Remember that kind of woman who always wants to make a good impression and show confidence towards the viewer, whether in an interview, formal occasion or emblematic moment of her life, or for a dinner with partners and friends; a carnal and bewitching fragrance. It starts in a cheeky way with a splash of lemon and bergamot surrounded by an almond as beautiful and creamy as it is pungent but clear of coffee. After about half an hour it moves violently on a heart that, on me, already blends well with the base notes: I feel the sambac jasmine, the orange blossom, the tuberose, a very sweet milky hint and already from here I feel very well cinnamon, the cocoa dissolved by the sweetness of the praline that merges with the sweetness of the amber, the rest is an evolution so fast that it cannot keep up with it, in fact all these single notes will then be tangled and joined together in a harmonious way. The scent will positively stun whoever your "prey" is and will capture their attention. I like it, I like it so much that I feel myself its prey because it knows what it wants and captures it without buts and without ifs; makes me feel unique and unrepeatable of the series: "here I am". For me the best gourmand you can find around. I do not feel chemical like the flanker suprême and I am amazed that it was Turner herself who created it because this progenitor is a masterpiece for me. The duration is pezzesca: it can even exceed 10 hours on clothes, the Projection is intense for about 5 hours then lowers to medium. A perfume that is able to give you the right boost for everything that represents that opportunity granted by life to demonstrate who we are and I dare to say, why not? Good girl is that perfume that also challenges the fate of destiny. It's skin-to-skin magic… you can fall in love as much as you can be perplexed, but never indifferent in my opinion. Madly in love, I will buy it back indefinitely, until death do us part. Carolina Herrera Good Girl Eau de Parfum Spray

Disappointing... but still lovely!!

This was my third ever perfume, so when I first smelled it, I fell in love! I hadn't ever smelled something like this before, and I was drawn in by how loud and seductive it was. The jasmine is the main note I get from this, and it's absolutely beautiful. So, when I bought it and tested it out, I was disappointed with the performance. Even though it's such a loud perfume, I had to apply a ton for it to even be noticeable, and it doesn't last long enough on me to be worth the price. I definitely understand why this is so popular (it smells gorgeous!) but it simply doesn't perform well on me.If you're like me and fell in love with this perfume, only to be disappointed with the performance, then I'd definitely recommend trying out Mugler's Alien. Alien is much more polarizing AND much more powerful than Good Girl, so I'd definitely try it out before buying, but the way the jasmine behaves in the opening is very similar.Overall, I'd recommend giving this perfume a try! But if you love the jasmine in Good Girl and end up disappointed with the way it performs on you, keep in mind that there are definitely other options.

My absolute favorite

All my life i had always wore body splashes until last year when i decided to explore perfumes a bit. Im definitely a gourmand lover when it comes to scent. I tend to not like floral scents……. the exception to that being the original Good Girl. I like sweet scents but i also wanted something a little more grown up to try out instead of walking around smelling like an apple or a cookie from body splash. At 40 years old, it’s way past time.Supreme and the original Good Girl were both blind buys for me after reading and watching reviews. I love both but i am IN LOVE with this one. To me, it is much more sweeter than the original. I cannot describe individual scent notes so i won’t try but this works excellent with my body chemistry. No exaggeration, i get complimented ... MoreAll my life i had always wore body splashes until last year when i decided to explore perfumes a bit. To me, it is much more sweeter than the original. I cannot describe individual scent notes so i won’t try but this works excellent with my body chemistry. No exaggeration, i get complimented almost every time i wear this. It was such a surprise to me because i had never had so many people commenting on how good i smell. Especially men, for some reason this seems to really register with their noses. So many people want to know the name of what I’m wearing. All this coupled with the fact that i love this scent told me i found my “signature scent” i guess is the term i have seen used. When across the room, many have described smelling something “yummy like marshmallow or vanilla”; i guess that’s the note my body throws after i have sprayed it and it has sat on me for a bit. I do not want to give the impression that that’s exactly what it’s smells like when i spray it but that’s how people describe the scent i give off after it has incubated for awhile. There was some point when i switched to another perfume just to try out and my frequent compliments completely stopped. So yeah this is definitely my favorite perfume. I never take it out of my bag. I just recently ordered my third bottle. I truly cannot say enough good things about this one.Other perfumes that i like are Black Opium, Hypnotic Poison, Vanilla 28, Good Girl

Smells so good for day and night wear. I always get compliments. One of the coolest parts about this is if you get the larger size the bottle holds your phone
