Our deliciously moorish wholewheat digestive biscuits are laden with maple syrup, pecan nuts then coated and drizzled with dark chocolate. These biscuits were first developed in 1839 by two Scottish doctors to aid digestion, but they ended up being a cure for sweet tooth instead. Our biscuits are buttery and unbelievably tasty. Keep some in your cupboards to dunk in your afternoon tea or as a surprise for guests. These Maple & Pecan Chocolate Biscuits arrive in a metal tin from Cartwright & Butler, a family business that has been making teatime treats for more than 115 years. Made in Britain.

I agree with previous review, over packaged, over priced and over rated. Nothing good about this product.

I bought these maple and pecan digestives first at Tebay services in Cumbria, and now I'm addicted. I'm so glad Ocado stock them. They're not too sweet, but still feel like a treat, and I love this different approach to digestives. Perfect when you want something small after dinner.

Received these free from Ocado so heres a review. We like other Cartwright and Butler tinned biscuits and have given them as presents on occasion. The airtight tins are very useful for storage when the biscuits are finished. However these biscuits are not as good as the chocolate cookies or the shortcakes. Could hardly taste the pecans and the digestives were quite sweet. Thats the maple syrup I guess. The chocolate did not taste high quality either. Maybe this combination just doesnt work? Probably wont buy these Im afraid, but pleased to have the empty tin!

A lovely gift. The tins are beautiful.
I dont normally write one star reviews.....but there was nothing I liked about these. Stupidly overengineered packaging - when you open the tin theres a cellophane wrapped plastic tray of biscuits. Had naively hoped the tin meant no plastic. But the biscuits themselves didnt redeem the packaging - couldnt taste the tiny fragments of pecan, couldnt taste maple syrup at all and the dark chocolate tasted cheap. Biscuits themselves were dry, neither rich nor buttery and absolutely nothing about this screamed high end product. Despite the marketing, price and claims for quality ingredients. Sorry, would have loved to have liked them.
