Very happy with my purchase, and would highly recommend.Visually and structurally, the piano is fantastic. The sleek design and black hides the fact it’s digital, and compliments our decor. It was easy to assemble, and is sturdy. The opening lid is a nice feature for function/visuals (plus a flat surface has nice utility), but I mostly use headphones.Sound wise, I’m very happy with the Casio. I use the six piano presets 99% of the time, and they are quite nice and varied, with distinct changes in texture, warmth and tone. Since the features are relatively simple, it is easy to use the AP470. The speakers project a nice sound, even with the lid closed. After playing multiple occasions, the keys still feel good. Although you can tell they’re not real, you don’t really notice after a ahort while. The softness and sensitivity is really great in that sense. The weight is good and not too heavy but not too light, allowing for rapid notes with appropriate resistance. The sustain pedal has a great sensitivity too, and can be released slowly to allow a gradual fade (although the “pressed” distance is short, so be gentle!). The high polyphony works well too - no issues. The other two pedals are weaker in their impact, but the mellow piano presets can compensate in my opinion.Only downside is that there is a bit of a “soft thud” when each key hits the bottom. All digital pianos probably have it, and you don’t notice when playing with headphones or loud, but someone else might hear *thud* *thud*. Not a deal breaker, just noticeable since it’s almost silent (but not completely).Note: I haven’t used the app yet, nor have I experimented with recordings/tracks and can’t comment.I chose Casio over Roland/Yamaha for personal preference, having played an upright for two decades. I liked the combination of the sound, look, feel and simplicity. If considering the PX770/PX870, I highly recommend considering the AP470 (it is basically the PX870 but in a wooden frame). The included adjustable chair is nice too (not amazingly comfy, but it does the job).

The item I purchased is great it was exactly what we wanted and price was the best I could find. The customer service I received at Mannys was what made the experience 5 stars, I would highly recommend them to anyone. Their store is awesome, you should consider Mannys for any purchase.

Nice key action and beautiful piano sounds with a decent amount of configuration possible and lots of additional features. Enough to keep beginners and intermediates very satisfied. Sure, it's not perfect but for the price it's highly competitive.

This piano looks great, sounds good and has a very nice feeling keyboard with weighted keys etc. I don't think that you can fault it at this price point. Maybe, as one's skill level increases, it will be replaced but for a beginner/intermediate player it is perfect. As a total beginner I am very happy!
I did lots of research, wanting to upgrade from a basic Casio keyboard. This digital piano is absolutely every bit as described, It is a beautiful piano, and I can't speak highly enough of it. if you are doing your research, and just not sure whether to purchase or not, just do it. You will definitely love it.
I wanted a digital piano which is as close to an acoustic one as possible. The CasioAP470 is a beautiful digital piano. The keys feels much more like acoustic piano when you play with the resonance and pedals. There are many functions such as different types of piano or instruments, songs, recording and volume control etc like a keyboard too. The only thing which I believe could be better is the tuning, the sounds are still not quite right which makes me feel like an acoustic piano which requires some tuning. for a digital piano is once done right, it would never need to be tuned again but if not, noone can fix by tuning it. However, overall for the price and service, it is a perfect match for me.
This piano is great. I didn’t think I would find an electric piano which feels and sounds so close to an acoustic. I knocked a star off as the midi sounds are fun to play around with but they don’t sound anywhere near the really thing. Doesn’t bother me too much as I’m not into all the music tech just something to hear in mind. Otherwise, I really do love this piano, it was easy to assemble and doesn't take up a lot of room.
Sound quality is much better than expected though obviously can't match an acoustic grand piano. Weight of the keys is also quite good, but the keys are hollow so any nail tapping becomes very loud, and the keys do make a relatively loud thudding sound when pressed down (though you don't really notice it while playing, and definitely not a reason not buy this).A few complaints/differences against a real piano.- There isn't much of a touch gradient between f and ff, so when playing in f, so notes become noticeably louder (as if accented), if slightly too much weight is applied whilst playing.- Pedal keeps the notes playing for much longer than they would be in reality- Lower notes can get quite muddy, especially when using the pedal (more muddy than it would be ... I bought a Casio Electric Piano for my daughter. It is a really good piano, especially when you play classical. It also compact and space-saving. My daughter has been playing and enjoying ...That's the key point.
