Bought this exact watch many years ago (I think in the 1990s) and it gave me great service. I like it because it is very slim and I barely feel it on my wrist. It is also easy to read the time as well as the day-of-week and date. I wear it while fishing and while working out-doors. It does not snag or get hung up on brush & branches due to it's slim design. It is great for fishing, as I've dunked it in water many times and it continued to work flawlessly. I am replacing the old one because I beat the heck out of it. the face was scratched up pretty badly. In my opinion, this watch is indestructible. All around a really nice watch for cheap! Personally i would swap the wristband but thats the only nag about the watch. Looks retro and stylish. Very light yet sturdy feeling.

It is almost a great little watch. The only real downfalls are the light is not good at all. That is understandable because this is on the same platform of the 80's., not this actual watch, but the module. The other downfall is the case is plastic made in China, unlike the original that was actual metal! I dropped a half star for the poor light. The other 1 1/2 stars dropped was for the case not being metal. If it weren't for those things this would be 5 stars. I do think the f91 is a better watch because the case is plastic with no plating to come off, and cheaper too! This watch does look better though, at least until you chip or scratch the plating and show the plastic underneath. It is an excellent work day to day watch. I had used 2 other expensive watches at work and due to some heavy physical lifting from work, their bracelet broke. It would cost me over $50 to replace each stainless steel bracelet on each watch and I am now unable to wear those 2 other more expensive watches. On the other hand, this lightweight Casio digital watch is perfect. I have been wearing it at work for months now and the bracelet and watch are still in working order. The fact that the watch itself sells for a fraction of a cost of the other 2 stainless steel bracelets is a big plus. Highly recommend AAA+++

The contrast of the LCD against the background is good for my old eyes and the time display is large enough I can read without my reading glasses. It is easy to set (I could figure it out without the instructions). The band is large enough for a big man's wrist, but easily adjustable at home to my small wrist. The Bad, for me, is that the light for night viewing doesn't illuminate the entire time area making it hard for me to read at ... This is a cool little old school watch, echos to the dawn of digital. I bought this as homage to my younger days. Lighter weight than hoped but great in every other respect. I wear it in between Rolex days.
I've been buying this model watch for about 20 years. It's inexpensive, looks good (if you're not real fashion-conscious), is comfortable to wear, and does its job perfectly. I've had to replace them occasionally because one of the buttons stops working after a few years, but at $13 for a watch that runs perfectly fine for years, that is no problem! (Also, a watch repair person said that she could probably clean the contact and make it good as new.) In my opinion, this is a great watch and I recommend it enthusiastically.

This is the second one of these for me in 10 years. I love them. Dependable. Multifunction useful. Very lightweight. Runs for years on replaceable batteries(but the bezel wears out before it dies) My lst one is still running great but it's kind of beat up looking so I use it for my days off when I'm busy doing gritty, dirty, messy jobs. Really great value wrist watch.
