Casio DW-B5600SF-7ER Watch Clear

This is my first G Shock watch, and I am very glad I purchased it. The functions with one exception work very well and are useful to me on a daily basis. I also appreciate that it is simply different than the “smart” watches so many are wearing as well as the Rolexes etc. A quick heads up on the things I don’t like so buyers aren’t surprised - the backlight combined with the background bird make it nearly impossible to actually read the time in the dark, the bird blots out too much of the time. Easy workaround - don’t wear this one at night. The band is borderline uncomfortable for me, perhaps this would be true of any similar resin band. But I assume it can be replaced with something that conforms to a wrist shape without much effort.

Love the beautiful yellow color of the watch!!!The display itself is easy to read in ambient light...However, the Charles Darwin Silhouette of a turtle when the backlight is on is a complete distraction and hinders easy viewing in my opinion.Also, for this price range of a square, I would have expected to have an "auto backlight" which it does not.

More dark green than you would expect from the pictures. I wanted to use it as an every day watch but the dark green is distinct in a way I personally don't like. I haven't been wearing it. Less legible and more dark than you would think. I bought it to replace my old square with a standard display and I'll probably end up just buying another with a standard display. Perfect except for the tint on the face. Wish I could get the exact same one with no tint.
