Ok, I buy a G-shock for my man every year for Christmas. He LOVES the style, comfort, and all the different types of features. I love the awesome containers they all come in!This is his most favorite watch as it is mine. It's flashy, fashionable, and does NOT cost a thousand dollars! Told him this year... it's MY turn to get shocked😉

Overall i am satisfied with the watch. I am a major supporter of the G-shock brand given my day to day activities and the durability of their brand. However, i was not completely satisfied with this particular model for 2 reasons. The band and casing has a glossy tint and extremely light-weight feel to it, both of which discourages rugged use. It is more of a casual dress occasion which is not what i entirely purchased it for. Secondly, the display is very dim and a little hard to read without holding it at the right angle. But overall, it is a good watch to order if you have a specific type of attire in mind but not for everyday use.

Whoever designed this (and whoever approved the design) need to find another line of work. The hands are barely discernible from the background making it difficult to tell time. The light will not illuminate the hands making it even more useless in low light conditions. And in the dark, this will leave you even more in the dark concerning the ability to tell the correct time. I would pack it up and re-sell it, but do not want to saddle another person with this piece of junk.

I love that when I go to world time I can choose a city/time zone and when I press 2 buttons I can switch my analog time to the new zone for when I travel. I love the look of this watch in general.What I hate is that the light on it is a joke. If you a watch with an internal light this is not the watch for you. This light consists of 1 led at the 6 o'clock position that doesn't illuminate the digital time at all and because of the layout of the watch casts such a shadow on the dial that it is completely useless. For me this isn't an issue because 95% of the time I'm in an environment where I don't need a light...but just seeing how ineffective it is when I do use it is enough to cause me to wish Casio just left it ... MoreI love the digital and analog display for time. The 2nd G Shock I've purchased within the space of 12 months and......it does not disappoint!! It's slick yet rugged and it feels like a watch should!! Used to have the casio calculator watch many many MANY years ago and I thought I was pretty cool.....now I know I was cool!! Love the 'lift hand to light' feature too!!
Took a Lil bit to get here but great watch. Got exactly what I saw and nothing bad to say. Wat h looks great no scratches or anything
I Purchased this watch a few days ago. At first take I thought this watch looked pretty cool and had nice features. I needed an everyday watch to ware as opposed to my dress watches. Unfortunately, once I got the watch home, I quickly notice the dim light, unable to see time, and the difficulty in setting up the watch. I return this one and got the same brand, however, I experienced the same issues. not a good brand for me.
