Item is attractive and as shown however, the instruction booklet is not accurate. It is translated into so many languages that instructions get watered down to a point of inaccurate. We had to go to u tube and watch a “how to” video. Was easy and NOT as the instruction booklet states. So, all in all, nice watch, poor instructions.

Another G-Shock? Absolutely, With a Caveat . . .

I own probably 15 G-Shock watches. I love them!! Stylish, colorful, rugged. I love this one as well. I am wearing it right now. The colors are very modern, very cool. However, reading it takes some getting used to. My initial impression upon opening the container was disappointment because the face is much darker than most images indicate. As a result, reading it becomes a learning process. I have mastered this, and you probably will too, but it took some doing. Reading it in the dark with the light feature on is fine. It is reading it inside during the day in, say, an unlighted or dimly-lighted room is where the challenge begins. Perhaps using the brighter turquoise color (which is on the center of the hands) on the tips of the hands would have solved this issue? ... MoreI own probably 15 G-Shock watches. I love them!! As Promised

Like the watch, fashionable and comfortable. The band is a little stiff but expect it to soften over time. The tach buttons are a bit of a challenge, especially, if you have fat fingers but they're doable. The added light is nearly pointless but overall the dial is prominent and easy to see. Overall, I like the watch's rugged appearance and capabilities.

Let's start with the fact that I have no need of the information provided by the digital displays, it's a good job as they are (unless you catch the light right) damn near unreadable.You can just about see what is on the bottom screen but the top two (especially the mode window on the right) are useless. I have no idea why Casio keeps spoiling excellent designs by using these negative displays! I have no need of these functions so its not an issue, if you do need a stop watch, countdown timer, world time then this may not be the best watch for youNow the good points, I love the colours used (I went for the yellow and black) and the analog hands. Great watch.terrible LCD

Got this as a birthday gift. Super cool watch. The band is very comfortable and the case sits nicely on top of the wrist. The buttons are easily accessed but well protected. Set up was very easy and took less than two minutes. The watch light is definitely less than perfect. It whitewashes the LCD display making only the hands legible in the dark. The major issue: The reverse LCD. It is incredibly hard to read for me in any lighting conditions. There was no way I could glance at the watch and tell you the time relying on the LCD. This negates the information displayed there. Cant read the date, day, timer, stopwatch. Great watch, terrible LCD.

I was looking around online to purchase a Casio G-shock watch, which one, i wasn't sure until i saw FCW and found the right one, model GA-900-1AER. I found there website to be well organised, easy to navigate, lots to choose from and great price's. Review Title

Excellent service from FCW. I’m a big fan of Casio G-Shock models and have been collecting them for many years. This heavy duty model is an attractive looking addition to their range and, for a large watch, very comfortable to wear. However, Casio have spoilt this watch, in my opinion, by doing something weird with the positive digital display at six-o-clock and making it pretty much unreadable in the majority of lighting conditions and wrist positions! Looking at other reviews for this particular model other people have commented adversely on the digital display. Having two strap options is a nice touch though.

Very cool watch

The watch looks great and is visually appealing. Of course it is tough being a G-Shock. My only compliant with the watch is that the bands are a little too stiff, but it will conform with time. My general complaint with all modern G-Shocks is that the hands are a little hard to actually read.

Watch Hands never match

I bought this watch as an anniversary present, however the watch hands needed to be constantly reset. We are now unable to reset the hands so the hands never match the time on display. I have tried to book an appointment online, however the website does not allow for booking to go past a certain point so I am unable to find help. I tried to call the Zales store near my area, but have been unsuccessful at getting a hold of someone. This is frustrating since this watch is a gift, but I am unable to get the watch to function correctly.
